1968年12月～1969年2月に行われた北米ツアーを含め，この年 3度目となる レッド・ツェッペリン（Led Zeppelin）の夏の北米ツアーは，伝説のウッドストック・フェスティヴァル（Woodstock Music And Art Festival）の約 1ヵ月前に当たる 1969年7月5日ジョージア州ハンプトンはアトランタ・インターナショナル・レースウェイで開催された アトランタ・インターナショナル・ポップ・フェスティヴァル（Atlanta International Pop Festival）への出演で幕を開け，8月31日テキサス州ルイスビルはダラス・インターナショナル・モーター・スピードウェイで行われた テキサス・インターナショナル・ポップ・フェスティヴァル（Texas International Pop Festival）への出演で幕を閉じますが，特に 7月は，色々なフェスティヴァルへの出演が目立ちます．
本商品は，上述の夏の北米ツアーから，ツアー後半に当たる 8月18日カナダはオンタリオ州トロントのザ・ロックパイル公演の 2回のショウと，1968年〜1969年に掛けて行われた初の北米ツアーから 2月2日の同会場でのオーディエンス録音を収録し The Chronicles Of Led Zeppelinレーベルから 2009年にリリースされた 『 The Complete Rock Pile Tapes （TCOLZ 031/032/033/034/035） 』 で，今回 「 12年振りに限定入荷 」 との事で購入したもの．
正直，何れのオーディエンス録音も，音像は若干遠く，所々に収録されたテープの劣化に伴うであろう，ドロップ・アウトや音の質感が変化する部分もありますが，聴き易いオーディエンス録音で，録音された年代を考えれば高音質と言えるのではないでしょうか．

『1969年トロントはロックパイルでの2月2日と8月18日の２ショウの３公演をそれぞれ高音質オーディエンス録音で収録。8月18日のセカンド・ショウに関してはもうひとつのディフ・ソースも合わせて収録。
全公演とも、イコライズとは無縁の聴きやすいマスター・クオリティで収録されており、ピッチも正確にアジャストしてあります。
リッチー・ヨークのイントロダクションからスタートする2月2日公演は45分39秒収録。マスターに起因するYou Shook Meの6:08でのカットを除けば、音質も良好で安定しており、非常に聴きやすいサウンドです。
8月18日ファースト・ショウは52分41秒収録。音質はパートによってかなりイメージが違い、最初の30秒くらいまでかなり不安定。以降はそれなりに安定し、聴きやすくなりますが、I Can't Quit You Babyは曲中で派手に音量が上下する箇所があります。 Dazed And Confusedは8:03カット後から７分間に渡ってエンドまでヒスノイズが大きく聴き辛い状況が続きます。You Shook Meは開始10秒目で突然音が良くなりますが、27秒目でまたヒスが発生、そして3:41で突如再び轟音と共に音質が良好になります。このように不安定な要素を多分にもった乱暴な録音ですが、音の鮮度は十分に良好で、ヒスの問題が無い部分では生々しいサウンドで楽しめます。
8月18日セカンド・ショウは、You Shook Meの4:27でカットポイントがありますが、それ以外は、この時代としては異例な程にダイレクト感溢れる大変良好なサウンドで 82分に渡って収録されています。演奏のムードも素晴らしく、How Many More Times冒頭のメンバー紹介では珍しくジョン･ボーナムがプラントを紹介します。この日のノリの良さを示すように同曲のエンディングではドラムソロを披露。
ディスク５に収録された１８日のセカンドショウを収録したセカンド･ソースも、十分に良好なサウンドで79分24秒に渡って収録されています。The Train Kept A Rollin'はエンディングのみの収録で、それ以降は1st Source程ではないにせよ、なかなかの高音質で全曲収録されています。音声が密集するパートやアタックが強いパートでは、アナログ劣化により音が荒れる部分もありますが、全体的には十分に良好なサウンドで楽しむことができます。
