Picture Guide to Autumn Leaves in Northern Kyoto

西陣に住んでます-Northern Kyoto

(Updated October 2011)

In Northern Kyoto, the maple leaves start to turn red from the beginning of November and arrive to a climax in the middle of November in most of areas.

Unfortunately, it takes a little bit much time to access each area since the number of public transport services is few. So it is important to check the bus and train timetables carefully in advance.

The following tables shows my observation results on the autumn leaves at the prominent sites in Kyoto, 2009 and 2010.
