「野間灯台へ行こう」灯台女子増殖中

１９６０年代の中頃、灯台に沿った街道の山側にバンガロー村があり、旭丘高校に入学した年と翌年の夏休みにクラスメイト達（柔道部：今泉、小林、加藤、桑原・剣道部：桂・ハンドボール：二宮・硬式野球：市川、その他文化部：奥村、長谷川君ら）と２泊３日過ごしました。

当時は町と隣接する今では寂れてしまった大きい方の海水浴場が人気で、灯台直下のプライベート・ビーチ的砂浜は人影もまばらでした。

勝手に地中海のリゾート・ビーチはこんな感じかな、と一人悦に入っておりました。

アラン・ドロンの「太陽がいっぱい」が封切られて間が無い頃です。

現在の人気振りは灯台を中心とした景色に加え恋人達が愛を確認し合うスポットと言うキャンペーンが効いているようです。

御注意：大人数で押しかける観光地ではありません。

灯台の管理の方と交流し、てっぺんに昇らせてもらいました。
