自殺率を押し上げていた、地方在住の若い女性、が都会に出て自由を得たことが主な要因では、と…拡大家族から解放されて(atomisation of extended families⇔nuclear family) ストレス要因が減った、と(衝動的に服毒できる農薬が簡単に手に入らない状況になったのと、農薬の毒性が薄まってることも要因だとか)。 ←若い世代が解放される反面、頼る若者がいなくなったお年寄りはというと、地方の70代前半男性の自殺率41.7人/10万人。
