【Trial and Adler Psychology -Challenge of a Rakugoka-】

1."Judging" the other person makes relationships unhealthy

In Adler psychology, we value horizontal relationships rather than vertical relationships.

We also think that "judging" the other person in our hearts causes unhealthy relationships.

Don't let parents be judges, such as when dealing with children.

We sometimes use the analogy.

This is because if a parent becomes a judge and judges a child, the parent-child relationship will be cracked and the child's courage will be diminished.

Of course, Adler does not deny the court system.

Needless to say,

A court system is necessary to maintain social order.

With that in mind, in this essay we would like to discuss such issues through an attempt by a rakugoka.

2.Focus on the "ready" of the mind

By the way, speaking of Adler psychology,

work, education, parenting, counseling....

It is useful in a wide range of fields.

However, there is little literature that discusses Adler psychology and trials head-on.

I have never seen it in a Japanese book.

Perhaps most people safely avoid it because of its delicate themes.

However, it is a very important theme.

I want to think head-on.

Because I can't look away from what is right.

Because that is the identity of the mathematician.

Regarding crime, Adler's own book, " What Life Could Mean to You (1931)" mentions Adler's position on crime, which is helpful as a reference.

Adler's words are written there:

"Corporal punishment for criminals has no effect"

"Just trapping in a prison doesn't solve anything. That said, releasing them is dangerous and unthinkable. "

"Neither tough nor generous can change criminals."

That is, since Adler psychology is psychology,

Rather than an institution, the issue is the "preparation" of the mind.

Furthermore, Adler psychology focuses on "cooperative attitude".

3.Master Kairakutei Black's Challenge

However, isn't it impossible to hope for a cooperative attitude in a place of conflict with the trial?

It's a desk theory!

You might think.

But, there are actually rakugoka who maintain such a cooperative attitude and want to go to trial.

His name is Master Kairakutei Black.

A rakugoka who is active all over Japan, mainly in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.

(Rakugoka is a Japanese comic storytelling)

When Master Black mentioned his disciple's sexual jokes, he was sued by his disciple and his lover for a compensation of 3.3 million yen.

The proceedings were filed by Master Black and film director Kyosuke Enokizono.

(Since the purpose of this essay is to consider Adler's psychological attitude toward the trial of a rakugoka, I refrain from pursuing the truth of the matter in detail.)

At this time, Master Black decided not to compete in a competitive stance in the trial, but to "face in a cooperative stance."

He is a rakugoka.

He decided to avoid hating each other by incorporating "laughter" and "entertainment."

First, he changed his stage name from Kairakutei Black and named him "Defendant Fukuda."

Fukuda is his last name.

Kairakutei Black revised "Defendant Fukuda"

It's a first-class joke like Master Black.

Even now, as defendant Fukuda, he is doing rakugo.

The intentions and thoughts can be found on Master Black's blog.

If both of them agree, I will have to pay 3 million yen.

Speaking of 3 million yen, it is a lot of money.

Isn't the one who might pay it, so to speak, a good customer? Defendant Fukuda wouldn't do that.

"Hitchcock Fukuda", which is similar to defendant Fukuda, is good, such as "Fukuda member".

I was so disappointed that I was called Defendant Fukuda,

so I decided to stage name Defendant Fukuda until I was abandoned and the trial was over.

   < Quotation from Master Black's blog >

The person who sets up the trial like a surprise hit.

Normally, it's okay to hate and become competitive.

Or rather, most people will.

But, turns his competitive feelings into "laughter" and purifies his hatred.

Master Black is practicing such an attempt.

Isn't it an innovative attempt?

Master Black is not particularly aware of Adler psychology, but I feel that he has a very Adler psychological attitude.

At the time of trial, it is more difficult than we imagined to approach the other party in a cooperative manner without resentment.

< The live performance when the stage name was changed is also posted on you tube. >

4.Relieve "competitiveness" with Chindonya

The first trial took place in December 2020.

At that time, Master Black visited the Tokyo District Court with Chindonya.

(Chindonya is a Japanese dingdong band.)

Master Black attracted the attention of the passers-by.

He isn't sloppy.

He consults with an expert and confirms that it is okay to visit with a chindonya outside the court.

Bold and precise.

Master Black converts all the competing arrows from his opponent into "laughter" and hits them back.

If the person who sued him noticed the emptiness of fighting ...

This is an implicit message from Master Black.

Or should it be called a gratitude to a former disciple?

Master Black consults with a lawyer, but says he does not have a lawyer in court.

In general, this is a disadvantage.

However, if you think about it the other way around, Master Black will speak instead of the lawyer.

He will surely say something that will calm the place (court).

It can't be helped if they quarrel in court.

"Cooperative attitude, not competitive attitude" is the most important thing in Adler psychology.

Everyone who learns Adler psychology knows it, but it's difficult to put it into practice.

I was shocked to find that there was a rakugoka who practiced it in the courtroom, so I wrote it as an essay here.

I think Master Black's challenge may be attracting more public attention.

He has a unique crowdfunding, so I helped him a little.

Finally, I would like to introduce the words of Ryuhei Sumida, a lawyer who is active in Kyoto, Japan.

That was about two years ago when I attended the Setsubun event.

Attorney Sumida made a wish while hitting beans against the person who played the role of a demon.

"May the day come when there will be no lawyers in the world."

This means that a peaceful world will come, but I was surprised that Mr. Sumida, a lawyer himself, made a wish with such an expression, and sympathized with "It really is." ..

Therefore, I would like to continue to objectively watch Master Black's trial from an Adler psychological standpoint.
