A groom missed his own stag party after two of his friends had a drunken brawl at the airport.
The group were kicked off the flight from East Midlands to Alicante after the fight broke out on the tarmac.
Jake Hawkins and nine of his friends had been drinking at the airport, reports Leicestershire Live.
The 24-year-old, who was due to get married to the mother of his two children after the holiday, had already boarded when a member of the ground staff ordered him off the plane because of the brawl at the bottom of the boarding staircase.
Self-employed building maintenance worker Hawkins, who had used his own money to pay for some of his friends to join him on the trip, demanded the eight of them who had not been fighting should be allowed to fly to Spain.
But the airport staff said no and called the police.
