4月に入って、カリフォルニアの気温はどんどん上昇中。昨日は29度まで到達した。
これから、まるでバーベキューの網の上のお肉になったような気分にさせる日差しが降り注ぐ季節になってくる。
そんな焦げた肌になった時に聞きたいのがAnderson .Paakの軽快な音楽だ。
彼の曲には、はじき出されたようなビートと彼の高音でハスキーな声が見事に合わさって生み出す、独特で爽やかな魅力がある。

多くの人は好きな相手との争いを嫌って、ならば別れた方が楽だ、という結論にたどり着く。
でも実際本当に嫌だと思っているのは、面と向かって、自分をさらけ出し、お互いを理解しあうことなのかもしれない。
これをすることで、する前に比べて二人の間で色んなものがやりやすくなるけれど、その前に自分の比とも向き合わなければならない。
そして大抵の人はそれと向き合い受け止めることを避ける。これは結局のところ自己防衛。
もし向き合う気がないのならば、その関係はもともと真剣なものではなかったのかもしれない。
