I wanted to do something special before leaving London so invited ex Royal Ballet /amazing teacher Sander Blommaert to give us a "company class” with my favourite pianist Matthew Gregory. I had asked for a couple of allegro exercises from World Ballet Day too - which proved to be a lot trickier than expected for me but it was great to take on a challenge with my ballet buddies. My husband was there too, he was super impressed by Sander's amazing jumps and turns that he demonstrated throuhghout the class. What an amazing class.
I have only picke up those from Adagio but will share all the photos once I have more time back in Japan!
After the class I had an opportunity to dance my piece on Schubert choreographed by Vanessa Fenton. The piece is something I intend to continue to work on in Japan so it's still work in progress, but I thought I'd share with them "as of now" to say thank you. It is a piece after all to express my joy and gratitude for my amazing journey in London. Thank you Jessica (a.k.a my Just Do It diva) for suggesting and encourageing me to do! I'm so glad that I did.

帰国する前にGoing away do (お別れ会)として、大好きなバレエ友達と、ポワントを習っているロイヤルバレエの先生、一番好きなピアニストさんを招いてのスペシャルレッスンを企画しました。ロイヤルバレエのカンパニークラスを私たちのレベルに多少アレンジしてもらった「カンパニークラス」
最後は元ロイヤルバレエのヴァネッサに振り付けてもらったソロのピースをお披露目しました。もっともっと練習が必要だけど、バレエ初心者としてロンドンにやってきた私を知ってるバレエ友達だし、「今の私」の踊りで、みんなに「ありがとう」と言いたかった。４年9ヶ月のロンドンでのバレエ集大成。
これは同時に、ずっと内緒にしていたゴンタくんへのサプライズでもありました。これまでたくさんバレエさせてくれてありがとう。
踊り終わったらみんな顔を真っ赤にして号泣してて、、 ゴンタくんも泣いてた。
All these cards, gifts and flowers.. I felt like a real ballelina coming home after a performance.. :)

みんなにこんなによくしてもらって、そのことを思うと涙がでます。別れがつらいというよりは、みんなの気持ちに涙涙の日々。じつは、ロンドンに来た最初の半年くらい、よく森を散歩しながら泣いてたんです。（来たばかりなのに）森が好きすぎて「帰りたくない」って。
いまは、泣いてるけど違う理由。なんて幸せなんだろう、ありがとう、ありがとう って泣いてる。
別の友達とも、サウスケンジントンでとあるプロジェクトをしてきました。別のバレエクラスでも面白いことが・・ 最後の日々の写真、記念にここにまた残しておきたいと思います。
Rahchel. Your wallnuts cranberry loaf was so ridiculously good I had 4 slices in one go next morning レイチェルの焼いてくれたくるみとクランベリー、ライ麦と全粒粉のパンが椅子から転げ落ちそうに美味しかった。翌朝４切れ一気に食べてしまった。
帰国前のクレイジーな日々、It's an emotional rollercoaster ride いろんな感情を味わいながらラストスパートです。

２０１３年渡英直前の頃の記事、書いててよかったなあ。あの頃の自分は、ロンドンでこんなにたくさんの経験をして帰ることになるとは想像もしてなかった。
