Hayabusa, or Oscar, fighters belonged to the 64th Squadron shot down 4 US P-51A Mustangs on Nov 27th, 1943, the locations of which were all in the west of Rangoon in Burma. According to “Bloody Battles of Wings” written by Yohei Hinoki, he spotted 4 Mustangs flying directly above a group of B-24 bombers to escort them, and he shot down one of Mustangs only by the 1st shot.
