so in the end,
that missing pencil case was
simply hiding in some other drawer at school.
Good, that I didn't actually scream at him...
ABUNAI, ABUNAI. HO ooo.
And those fish,
those red ones from the other day,
ended up in a dish like this.
Which is nothing out of the ordinary now.
It's about time I came up with something new and funny.
And
I, as a semi fan of Spanish wine,
have found a bottle which seemed new here in LJ.
LAUS
Tinto Crianza 2003
It does have that tangy sort of touch on the tongue.
It leaves a slight layer of bitterness...
Also you can feel that sweet & sour flavor that
waters your mouth.
It's really yummy! (maybe too yummy)
I wouldn't recommend it if you're on a diet.
You are sure to get a good stimulation on your appetite!
But, I think, to be honest, in the end,
for this price (around 17euros), I would go for a Rioja.
(the one that comes in the net -btw, how do you call this net?)
NAZETTE,
KORE CHOTTONE, SHABAI.
OISHIINODAKEDO, CHOTTO SHABAI kana.
But I noticed, after I'd already grabbed this bottle,
that this same LAUS has a Rezerva which was about 3 euros more.
Maybe I shoud've taken that.
TO IUKA,
SLOVENIA NO WINE NIHA KOUIUNO NAINE.
Is it because of the climate?
Is it because of the people?
So,
this guy is into lids.
LIDS are fun!
LIDS for life!!
LIDS keep me busy!!!
FUTA NI ME GA NAi.
Hurray for LIDS!
school! school!! school!!!
So, school is already in the middle of 7th week...
I noticed that I'm a bit hyped up in spite the kid being
so relaxed (or because the kid is so relaxed) and already
making a big deal out of it.
Why does it always look like
that only my kid cannot do it properly,
and that only my kid loses this and that
because he cannot keep things in order...?
And
why am I asking him
"what about the other kids in class?"
about every little thing,
when I'm aware that to adjust to others
and to copy what others do for safety is
one of the things I have neglected all my life....????
This morning I was on the very verge of saying
some awfully stupid thing
(which I remember my father saying to me)
to him when I saw that he had forgotten to
take his pencil case to school.
Thank god.
The words managed to stay inside of me.
All in all, I'm just too hyped. I'm the guilty mother.
I'm the one trying to create militay
out of this school business.
So, parenting has come to the next stage for me
and I need to learn from the kid and relax.
What's the point of rushing anyway....?!
Hm.
It's not easy,though.
Gotta relax but at the same time
you gotta be in class at 8 sharp, too!!
(and be sure to have your pencil case, notebooks,......
the little sisiter and the baby, too!)
so life goes on.
Ponyo
I came across some fresh squid so I did one
"INROU SUSHI".
with tomato sauce and olive oil&soya souce.
Sushi rice is done with strings of ginger which
makes it a bit poetic.
But, then when I saw how it came out to be on the dish,
it reminded me of one scene from Ponyo...
Fish pizza. It again is a scene from Ponyo...for some reason.
BTW,
do you know how J.Oliver fixed the school lunches in England?
So, I guess this is one dedication as an idea
for a lunch in Slovenian schools.
Well,as for me,
it's been quite disastrous in the last few days
(with coughing and vomitting kids + computer at repairs )
and recently I'm spending time correcting my kids' Japanese!
Yesterday, daughter said,
"usagi ha karada ni nani wo motteru?"
she meant
"usagi no karada niha donna bubun ga aru?".
They also say "ikanai?",
obvioulsy a direct "translation" of "ne gre?".
"Umaku ikanai?" toka " dekinai? to iinasa-i.
So, I'm with a strange headache...
(mainichi hon wo ondoku saseyou)
BUT
weather is very calm. We have 20degrees in the afternoon!
Thanks for the extended summer...(or at least a warm autumn.)
Today, I got a kid at home,
and some 7dag of rouget barbet which I still don't know
what I will do with.
Will be another Ponyo dish...?
levain liquide
I made levain liquide with recette from E Kayser.
It takes wholewheat flour, refined flour, water, little sugar and 3 days
to bring it to life.
a type of HAKKOU DANE ne, from wholewheat.
Now the bread is going under fermantation....
It's a very slow process.
UMAKU YAKIAGARUKA. DONNA FUUMIGA DERUKA ne--.
There is no knowing until it comes out of the oven.
izlet
on an excursion with kindergarnten.
to Vrzdenec, west of Horjul.
SUNNY!! Beautiful day.
As the bus reachead Vrzdenec,
kids went for a visit at the črna kuhinja and then started up the hill.
gremo malo na izlet....
is what Brigita said, i think.
I, with 8kg sleeping baby on front and a backpack on the back,
one hour of climbing up this kind of trail was certainly not
gremo malo na izlet... kind of an event. (KUDARI, ASHI GA WARATTA!!)
I mentioned to Brigita this, but then she laughed me away by telling me that
she was climbing somewhere around Pokljuka the day before.
AND these kids.... this amount(and quality) of climbing is nothing for them.
SLOVENIA JIN NO CLIMBING RYOKU, NAMETARA AKANDE!
TO SAIKAKUNIN SHITA IČINIČI.
The hills around this area are truely worth a visit.
(especially now is the seasons for the autumn colours)
It's only less than half an hour drive from LJ.
of course Slovenia is full of this kind of hills, though.
