前提　新スマホと旧スマホが手元にある　音楽が大量にPCにある。いつもアプリでDLハマりどころ①新スマホと旧スマホのバージョン違い　先日、旧スマホのアップデートをしたばかり　なので、新スマホ＜旧スマホ　旧スマホのほうが新しいバージョン　アプリでデータ移行を拒否された　対策　新スマホで、起動後の説明を無視しつつ、ある程度設定完了まで　　　　行う必要あり②Siriの音声認識で認識してもらえず　活舌が悪かったり、短い文章なのに間違って読んだりと　四苦八苦　対策　とくになし。慌てず、ちょっと大げさなくらいに発音をはっきりと③「探す」をオフできない　これが一番つらかった　①で、はいはいと設定を進めた中に、「盗難デバイスの保護」があります　設定はすぐですが、オフは1時間かかります。　これをオンのままでは、PCにバックアップしたものをDLできないので　ひたすら、時間が経過するのを待つばかり。　「盗難デバイスの保護」は後回しにすべきだった。。。たぶん、続きます

ガンマナイフ　8カ月経過

ご無沙汰です。会社でドタバタで何もする気力もなく過ごしてましたあと少しするとMRI検査です症状は落ち着いてます顔のピクピクは随分と減りましたただ、運動したり血圧が上がるとピクピクすることがありますちょっと驚いたのが、ほぼ聞こえなかった聴力がほんの僅か、本当に僅かですが音が聞こえましたヘッドホンで聞こえない方だけにすると耳鳴りだけだったのが、わずかにリズムが正常を100とすると、0-1だったのが2-3ってとこでしょうかどんな曲かは判別不能。もちろん音声の認識も無理です。一旦、悪化した聴力は戻らないって言われてます。がかすかな期待をどうしてもしてしまいます

神戸市内の高速道路が倒壊しましたが実は、あの日の前日、朝、地震が起こったころに大阪市内に向けて、車を走らせてましたまだ、独身だったので、一人で運転1995年１月16日（月）で成人の日の振り替え休日でした。当時の休日法は現在と異なっていて、成人の日は1月15日なので、振り替えですこの休みの日に、ハチ北、スカイバレイスキー場へ出かけようと、早朝に車を走らせてましたが、持って行ったチェーンがタイヤに合わず途中で引き返しました弟が車に乗った時、パンクして、サイズ違いのタイヤに変えられてたのを知らされてなくて、、、そろそろチェーンしようかなぁと側道に止めてやったんですがどうあがいても取り付けられずそれで、引き返しましたなのであの時間帯に往復してました24時間ずれてたら。。。そのまま落ちてた？地球時間で24時間って一瞬ですよねほんと、生かされたんだなぁThe elevated highway in Kobe collapsed, but…Actually, the day before the earthquake, at around the same time in the morning, I was driving toward Osaka City.Since I was still single back then, I was driving alone.It was January 16, 1995 (Monday), which was a substitute holiday for Coming of Age Day.The holiday laws were different at that time, and Coming of Age Day was always on January 15, so this was a substitute holiday.On that day off, I was planning to go skiing at Hachikita or Sky Valley Ski Resort, so I set off early in the morning.However, the tire chains I brought didn’t fit my car's tires, so I ended up turning back midway.Apparently, my younger brother had changed one of the tires to a different size after a puncture, but I hadn’t been told.When I pulled over to the side of the road, thinking it was time to put on the chains, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get them to fit.So, I had no choice but to turn back.That means I was driving back and forth during that time period.If it had been 24 hours later...Would I have fallen along with the highway?When you think about it, 24 hours in the span of Earth’s time is just a fleeting moment.I truly feel like I was spared.

神戸市内に住んでいた先輩の家族全員無事でしたが、家は火災で焼失覚えているのはこんなところ大学の友人と一緒に毎年スキーツアーに行ってましたが一年後の冬再会することができた人もいました被害の大きかった長田地区に住んでましたが無事と聞き、ツアーに参加してくれましたツアーが終わってから、長田にある自宅まで送っていきましたいつもなら、高速道路を走って40-60分もかからないかなってとこでも、神戸を横切る高速道路は倒壊してしまいありません国道を走ることになりましたが一年経って倒壊した高速道路のがれきが残っている場所もありましたが倒れた部分は撤去されてましたいつもだと頭上に高速道路があるのに夜空が見えて、不思議な気分眼を横にやるとがれきの山倒壊したビル焼野原夜は特に不気味な姿に見えて怖かったまるで、戦場ですあの光景は忘れませんI had a senior who lived in Kobe City. あとから入った情報として、私の机のある建物の被害はほとんどなかったのですが別の建屋では、天井が落ちたと聞きました実家のマンションは、数棟立っており私の住んでいた棟が一番の被害がありました向きが90度違っており、タンスや食器棚の配置が90度異なっており揺れる方向に被害が依存するようです会社での一日は部署の人の無事を確認あとは、休憩室にあるテレビを見る状態今のようなネットもほぼなく情報源はテレビと新聞帰宅後、新聞を見て酷い状況を認識しました友人の住んでいる地域が酷いことを知るもなかなか連絡つかず伊丹駅がぺしゃんこになっているのを見て友人の一人もダメだろうと勝手に思ってしまいました後日連絡が取れてホッとしたのを覚えてますある友人は兵庫県と大阪府の県境の大阪市内の会社に勤めていました被害は兵庫県とみんな思っていたのですが県境の大阪市内も沿岸部では神戸に近い惨状だったようですが、支援は神戸へ随分と放置されてたと聞きましたLater, I found out that there was almost no damage to the building where my desk was located. マンションのベランダから外を見てもあまり被害という被害は見当たりませんでした。ただ、電車が動いていないと会社へも行けないのでそこを確認すると、運行していましたこれも、今のような遅延や運転状況はテレビしか情報源だけが頼り時折、電車が走っていたので会社に行くことに当時は休むってこと考えませんでした電車が動いている以上はねそれと、家から30分あれば行ける距離なので家の中のキッチンの割れた食器の片づけは母親に任せて私は本棚やビデオ、工具類を片付けてから会社に行くことに片づけが終わって、ホッとしたころにもう一度大きな揺れに襲われました今度は両手で本などを抑えて事なきを得ました会社に着くと、人はまばら自宅からそんなに離れていないのに、会社の私の机に立てていたペン立てや本はそのままの状態地震がなかったかのようでした仕事は、それぞれ電話番号を渡されて無事の確認をしてました多くは被災されていて電車もダメなので出社はできないでも命は大丈夫という方が大半一部、車で会社に向かっているが、渋滞で身動きできないと連絡が入りました。もちろん、携帯は無いので、動かない車を降りて電話してきたんでしょう結局、その方はその日に会社までたどり着けず途中で引き返されましたLooking out from the apartment balcony, I couldn’t see much visible damage.However, since I wouldn’t be able to get to work if the trains weren’t running, I checked their status. もう、30年なんですね当時、入社して1-2年のころでした実家に住んでて、揺れで目が覚めましたマンションの高い階層だったのと、向きがこの地震にとっては最悪の方向に建っていて、とても酷い揺れでした与えられていた小さな部屋の両サイドには本棚やビデオラックが山積みさらに、本棚の上にも工具箱や物がたくさん本、ビデオ、工具箱が布団で寝ている私の頭の両サイドにドサドサと落ちてきました位置が違っていたらと思うとゾッとしますまるで布団がトランポリンのような感じで動こうにも軽く飛び跳ねている感じで身動き取れずあれ以来、地震が来て、机の下に隠れたりできるような地震は大したことない。って勝手に思ってます怖いのは、身動きできない地震別の部屋で寝ていた母親も、こっちにくるなって叫んでました食器棚の食器が全部、フローリングの床に落ちて割れてしまったからです今のように、揺れで扉が開かないようにするロックなんてありませんでしたので揺れが収まってから、外に目をやっても、神戸のような状況になっておらず酷い地震やったなぁとだけ思ってました今のようにスマホですぐ状況が分かるようなこともなく情報源はテレビと新聞だけでしたのでIt’s already been 30 years.Back then, I was in my first or second year at my job, living with my family. この一週間、いいことが多かったのですがひとつ、いやもう二つぐらい、よくないことがあり気分が滅入ってましたのでブログすら書く気にならず見る気にもならず良くないことの、一つがめちゃめちゃ酷くて今思い出すだけでも、反吐がでるくらいアメンバー記事にしようか、いや思い出すだけでも嫌なので書かないかもThis past week has been full of good things, but one—or maybe even two—bad things happened, leaving me feeling down.Because of that, I haven’t felt like writing or even looking at my blog.One of the bad things was absolutely terrible. Just thinking about it now makes me feel sick.I thought about writing a private post about it, but I might not, as just recalling it is so unpleasant.

ネタばらし

この長期休暇での学びをブログに使ってみましたひとつは挿絵もうひとつは英文両方とも、生成AIです。ツールは違うのですが単純な英文でなくなるべく中学英語になるようにと指示して作ってもらってましたあとで見直しながら、英語だとこんな表現になるんだ。と理解しにくい部分は、説明もしてもらったりしてましたあと、挿絵は作成した文章を入れてこれに合わせて絵をかいてってお願いすると出してくれます今まで、ネットで翻訳したり、挿絵を探したりしてましたがその手間が不要に。もちろん、すんなりとイメージ通りのものは出ませんが各段に便利になりました昨日から、写真を動画にして遊んでますDuring this long holiday, I tried using my learnings in my blog.One was about illustrations.The other was about English sentences.Both were created using generative AI, though with different tools.For the English part, I asked the AI to make the sentences as close to middle school English as possible.Then, I reviewed them later, thinking, “Oh, so this is how it’s expressed in English.”If I found something hard to understand, I asked for explanations too.As for the illustrations, I wrote a text and asked the AI to draw pictures to match it.It delivered the results based on my requests.Before, I had to search for translations or illustrations on the internet, but now that effort isn’t needed.Of course, the output doesn’t always match my image perfectly, but it’s much more convenient.Since yesterday, I’ve been playing around with turning photos into videos.

逃げ切れなかったな　I couldn't make it to the finish line.

病気の話ではないです仕事の話ですIT系の仕事をしていますといってもITは道具の一つで実際は品質のお仕事です中学生のころからPCに興味を持ち今に至りますが10-15年ほど前40代に入ったころあと、退職まで20年このまま退職まで行けるだろうこれまでのIT技術の進化を考えても基本さえ理解しておけばとでも実際は違ってました気が付いてからは、猛勉強してなんとか食らいついてる状態40代のころ今のスキルの高さがあれば退職まで滑空できると高さは十分でしたが、実際は陸地が隆起してきましたすごい速度でこのままいくと墜落って時に猛勉強して上昇をしてなんとか今に至ります友人とも、危なかったなぁ行けると思ったのにとこれからは技術の勉強だけではだめですねもっと多くを学び広い見識をもたないとねこれからの若者はもっと過酷だろうねでも、それを楽しんでね私も猛勉強っていっても学生の時とちがって分からないが楽しい、面白い。なんで？が面白い勉強でしたよI’m not talking about health—this is about work.I work in the IT field.That said, IT is just a tool; my actual focus is on quality assurance.I’ve been interested in computers since middle school, which led me to where I am now.About 10–15 years ago, when I entered my 40s, I thought:"With 20 years left until retirement, I’ll make it through.Considering the progress of IT technology so far, as long as I understand the basics, I’ll be fine."But reality turned out to be very different.Once I realized that, I studied intensively, barely managing to keep up.Back in my 40s, I thought that with the skill level I had at the time,I could glide smoothly all the way to retirement.My altitude was high enough, but in reality, the ground started rising—at an incredible speed.At one point, I was heading for a crash landing. That’s when I hit the books hard,managed to climb higher, and somehow made it to where I am now.Looking back, my friends and I say, “That was close.We thought we could make it.”From now on, just focusing on technical skills won’t be enough.You need to learn more, broaden your knowledge, and develop a wider perspective.The younger generation will likely face even tougher challenges,but I hope they can find joy in it.When I say I studied hard, it wasn’t like back in my student days.It was the kind of studying where not understanding was fun,where asking “Why?” became fascinating. It made learning enjoyable.

激減　A sharp decline.

年賀状激減まぁ、こっちも出さなくなって3-4年いやもっとかも家族そろって四人嫁さんが8枚ほどだしただけ激減といっても30枚ほどきましたが日頃会っているひと、会話やメール、LINEとかやってる人にわざわざ出す必要ないし私は、年賀状はゼロ海外向けにクリスマスカードは2通出しましたが海外でもLINEでつながっている人にはLINEでやりとりしただけですデザインでの喧嘩、投函するタイミングで喧嘩我が家では、年賀状を止めて喧嘩が二つ減りました😅New Year's cards have dropped significantly.Well, I haven't been sending them for 3–4 years now—maybe even longer.As a family of four, only my wife sent about eight cards this year.Even though it’s a big drop, we still received about 30 cards.For people I see regularly or those I keep in touch with through conversations, emails, or LINE,there’s no real need to send them a card.As for me, I sent zero New Year's cards.I only sent two Christmas cards overseas, but even with people abroad,I just used LINE to communicate if we’re already connected there.No more fights over card designs, no more fights about when to mail them.By stopping New Year's cards, our household has eliminated two sources of conflict.

耳鳴りがあれとそっくり　The sound of my tinnitus is very sim

突発性難聴のときにお世話になった先生が回診時に言っていたこと「変化があることはいいことです」突発性難聴により聴力が激減し耳鳴りが爆音のときの入院中の話で、最近、耳鳴りが大きくなったりする腫瘍の大きさに変化がある証拠と勝手に解釈しているで。耳鳴りの音ですが今までは　キーン、シーン、カリカリなどでした以前ブログに残したはず。。。で、今は、ボーとかヒュンヒュンてのが混じったり出たり、出なかったりを繰り返すちょっと大きくて、日常的に会話やテレビの視聴にほんの少し困っているで、「あれ」とそっくりですが聴力検査で検査しているのと違う方で流されるノイズにそっくりあそこまで大きくないが、近い音量が四六時中流れてます消えるか、もうちょっと小さくならんかなぁですWhen I was hospitalized for sudden hearing loss, I remember the doctor making rounds saying something that stuck with me:"Any change is a good sign."At that time, my hearing had drastically declined, and the tinnitus was unbearably loud.Recently, I've noticed that my tinnitus has been fluctuating—sometimes getting louder.I interpret this as a sign that there might be changes in the size of my tumor.As for the sounds of my tinnitus, they’ve changed over time.Previously, it was mostly high-pitched tones like keeeen or sheeeen, and occasionally scratchy noises. I think I wrote about this in a blog before.Now, there are new sounds mixed in, like a low booo or hyun-hyun sounds, which come and go.The volume is slightly louder than before, and it occasionally interferes with daily conversations and watching TV.It reminds me of the noise you hear during a hearing test—but from the opposite ear being tested.Although it’s not as loud as that, the similarity is striking.This constant noise is there all the time, and I can’t help but wish it would either go away or at least become quieter.

初詣　he first shrine visit of the year

初詣に行ってきました今年は五社願い事はどこでも一緒あと、次女が厄年なのでそのお祓いも今年は健康な一年でありたいなぁもちろん自分だけでなく家族全員ねI went for the first shrine visit of the year.This year, I visited five shrines.My wishes were the same at each one.Also, my second daughter is in her unlucky year, so we had a purification ritual done for her.I hope this year will be a healthy one—not just for me but for my whole family.

昨年は脳腫瘍が大きくなりつつありガンマナイフを受けましたジンクスにあった、娘たちのある学年ごとの病気・入院を切り抜け新しい年へことしは何事もなく、いい経験や学びに時間を費やしたいと思います。よろしくお願い致します。Last year, I underwent Gamma Knife surgery as my brain tumor was growing.We managed to get through the "jinx" of illnesses and hospitalizations that seemed to align with a certain grade level for my daughters.Now, we are stepping into a new year.This year, I hope for a calm and peaceful time, focusing on valuable experiences and learning opportunities.Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to another great year together.
