あとから入った情報として、私の机のある建物の被害はほとんどなかった
のですが
別の建屋では、天井が落ちたと聞きました
実家のマンションは、数棟立っており
私の住んでいた棟が一番の被害がありました
向きが90度違っており、タンスや食器棚の配置が90度異なっており
揺れる方向に被害が依存するようです
会社での一日は部署の人の無事を確認
あとは、休憩室にあるテレビを見る状態
今のようなネットもほぼなく
情報源はテレビと新聞
帰宅後、新聞を見て酷い状況を認識しました
友人の住んでいる地域が酷いことを知るも
なかなか連絡つかず
伊丹駅がぺしゃんこになっているのを見て
友人の一人もダメだろうと勝手に思ってしまいました
後日連絡が取れてホッとしたのを覚えてます
ある友人は兵庫県と大阪府の県境の大阪市内の会社に
勤めていました
被害は兵庫県とみんな思っていたのですが
県境の大阪市内も沿岸部では神戸に近い惨状だったようです
が、支援は神戸へ
随分と放置されてたと聞きました
Later, I found out that there was almost no damage to the building where my desk was located. However, in a different building, I heard that the ceiling had fallen.
The condominium where my parents lived had several buildings, and the one I lived in had the most damage. The direction of the building was 90 degrees different, and the arrangement of the furniture like wardrobes and cabinets was also rotated 90 degrees. The day at the office consisted of checking on the safety of colleagues and then watching the television in the break room. Back then, there was almost no internet, so the only sources of information were the TV and newspapers.
After returning home, I saw the newspaper and realized the terrible situation.
I also learned that a friend's neighborhood had been severely affected, but it was hard to get in touch with them. Seeing that Itami Station had collapsed, I mistakenly thought my friend might be in trouble. I remember feeling relieved when I finally got in touch with them later.
A friend of mine worked at a company near the border of Hyogo Prefecture and Osaka City. The damage was assumed to be in Hyogo, but the coastal areas of Osaka City near Kobe had similar destruction. However, aid was focused on Kobe, and I heard that Osaka was left with very little support for a long time.
