this is how i clean records which i've learned when i worked @ used record store. soak gauze in water, squeeze it and wipe the surface of record. then wipe again with dry gauze or something. by doing so, you can clean all the dusts and finger prints on the surface. the point is that you wipe along with grooves in records.
we barely look up while we walk down the streets but if you do, you see so many electric cables connected to power poles to poles to houses to buildings, etc. over the streets. i sometimes wonder why they don't bury them in the ground but i heard that it is because we have earthquakes. i guess it is more likely for those cables to be cut/disconnected in the ground than up in the air. what i want to say is that there are always reasons behind the scenes... although whether those reasons are appropriate or not is sometimes ambiguous.....
it's already a time to give season's greetings..... here, what i got small greetings from ana: diary/organizer for 2007 and desktop calender (not shown in the pic). hoping that those blank spaces in the organizer will be filled up with various schedules!!
there was an earthquake at 20:33 today. the earthquake center was 10km off the coast of where i live, and the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.5, which is considered to be rather small. but overall, it was pretty scarly.....
gotta go to replace taillight... but the temperature (inside the house) is forcing me to stay inside, which means very cold. however, when i got out to take a pic of the light, it was kinda warm with sunshine. because of sunshine, outside felt warmer than inside.....
yesterday was the last day @ my work although i had been in the paid vacation. so, i went to the office and did some paperwork for my leaving. after that, i met up with ex-colleagues + boss (they alsot left the company) and some other people who also left the company. oh, there was only one who is still working at the company; however, he is planning to leave at the end of january 2007..... anyway, it was nice to see them, and they seemed livelier than them @ work... why is that??
i missed dj kentaro + hifana..... the other night, i missed ino hidefumi..... it is soooo expensive to go see live concerts in japan (including transportation)!! i really hate that (but i have to admit that as i live in japan...).
below pic shows the room temperature... 12 degrees (centigrade) man!! sensory temperature would be lower than that..... no wonder coffee gets cold soon. sometimes, outside feels warmer.
the other day, my wife told me to massage+scrub body with salt. actually, it seems like pretty good, and it also makes me think of myself being purified (actually, it does??), which is good too.
i listened to speedy j's "loudboxer" after a long time. i was amazed by the fact that the sound/tracks are still pretty good. i guess it's simply because i like it..... this is a "non-stop" album.
a lot of people in my generation say that nowadays, we don't get pretty good stuff/tracks we used to get long time ago. of course, ther are still a lot of good stuff now but not as much as what we had like 10 years ago. i am not good at memorizing artist names and tracks but most of what i still remember is from the past, like years and years ago.
