we barely look up while we walk down the streets but if you do, you see so many electric cables connected to power poles to poles to houses to buildings, etc. over the streets. i sometimes wonder why they don't bury them in the ground but i heard that it is because we have earthquakes. i guess it is more likely for those cables to be cut/disconnected in the ground than up in the air. what i want to say is that there are always reasons behind the scenes... although whether those reasons are appropriate or not is sometimes ambiguous.....
道を歩いているときに見上げることってあんまりありませんよね。でも、たまに見上げると多くの電線が電柱から電柱、家、ビルなどなど、に繋がっているのを目にします。なんで電線を地中に埋めないんだろうと考えたこともありましたが、それは日本が地震国だからだという話を聞いたことがあります。地中に埋められているよりも空中の方が、断線する可能性が低いんでしょうね。何を言いたいのかと言いますと、物事には必ず、その背景に理由というものがあるということ・・・、ただし、その理由がはたして妥当なものかどうかということは、時に曖昧な場合もありますがね・・・。
