Troye: The Prada shows are always such a spectacle, and it feels like an honor every time to be in the room when it's happening.

Troye: It feels really, really cool to be able to say that you were there, you know? I'm already a creature of habit, but I have the same Milan trip every time I come.

Troye: ’Cause I stay here and then I go to the same incredible restaurant every time. Yeah, it's always fun.

Troye: So, after Sweat Tour, I went back to Australia and toured Australia. We did Australia and New Zealand, and then that went into the holidays, and I was just at home. And then I went back to LA just before the fires and everything. So, it's been a crazy few weeks over there.

Marc: – Did we meet—I think we met for the first time in Cannes.
マーク： 初めて会ったのって…カンヌだったよね。
Troye: – Yeah, we met in Cannes the first time.
トロイ： そうそう、初めて会ったのはカンヌなんだよね。
Marc: – We had talked before, but we met for the first time in Cannes for sure.
マーク： 話したことはあったけど、ちゃんと会ったのはカンヌが最初だったよね。
Troye: – Yep, yeah. I know there's a photo of us walking down the street together.
トロイ： うん、そうなんだよね。僕らが一緒に歩いてる写真も残ってるんだよ。
Marc: – I think Troye’s personal style, for a guy to be natural—he dresses how he wants every day. It's quite messy too, but that's what makes it cool to me, because he’ll just put on whatever he feels like, and that's the biggest characteristic of his style. My favorites would be a McQueen look that we did in Cannes. The Valentino looks they did custom for him in Cannes. On tour there were like a hundred looks that I loved. We collaborated with so many small designers and they were all amazing. So, I wouldn't even know where to start. And then with Prada at LACMA, he wore this blue cropped shirt from the spring/summer collection that was beautiful.

毎日“着たいものを着る”って感じでね。ちょっと雑なとこもあるんだけど、それが逆にクールなんだ。気分でパッと着ちゃうのが彼らしさなんだよね。僕のお気に入りは、カンヌでのマックイーンのルックとか、ヴァレンティノのカスタムとか。ツアーでは100ルックくらいあって、どれも最高だったんだよね。小さなデザイナーともいっぱいコラボしたし、語り出したらキリがないんだ。でね、LACMAのプラダでは春夏の青いクロップドシャツを着てて…あれは本当に美しかったんだよ。
Troye: And I think it was a moment to me.
トロイ： あれは僕にとっても、“特別な瞬間”だったなあ。
Troye: – I have prescription glasses that I've never worn. I've never worn them to an event before. I mean, I can see fine without, but… I have an astigmatism. I feel like people always think it's just plastic, you know what I mean? But they're real. Where are they? Oh, here they are. I wear them mostly at night or when I'm driving or reading or whatever. But so many styling tips that I've learned from Marc—actually I hear Marc's voice in my head pretty much every day when I'm getting dressed. He's like, “That hat again?” Or, you know, because I love a good basic that I will absolutely rinse for years at a time.
トロイ： 僕ね、度入りのメガネ持ってるんだけど、イベントでかけたこと一度もなくてね。裸眼でも見えるんだけど…乱視なんだよね。みんな“ただの飾りでしょ？”って思ってるんだけど、ちゃんと本物なんだよ。どこだっけ…あ、ここにあった。夜とか運転するときとか、本読むときにかけるんだよね。スタイリングのコツはほとんどマークから学んでてね。服を選んでると、頭の中でマークの声が聞こえるんだよ。「またその帽子？」ってさ。僕、気に入ったベーシックアイテムは何年も着倒すタイプなんだよね。
◆Fashion Risks & Tour Looks
Troye: I've taken a lot of fashion risks over the years. Everything from wearing a dress to the Met Gala—that was fun. On tour, the initial plan was to have three versions of the show, and within those three versions there would be a certain amount of changes. But we could alternate between those three versions every night. Cut to the fitting: I think we ended up with 80-something looks total.
トロイ： これまでけっこうファッションで攻めてきたんだよね。メットガラでドレス着たりね、あれは楽しかったなあ。ツアーでは最初、3バージョンのショーを作る予定でね、その中でちょこちょこ衣装チェンジがある感じだったんだけど… いざフィッティングしたら、最終的に80何ルックとかになっちゃってさ。
Troye: It was basically a completely different show every night. And Charli did the same.
トロイ： だから毎晩ほぼ“別のショー”だったんだよね。チャーリーも同じでね。
Troye: So, there were so many clothes on that tour. Like, so many clothes. Some of them were insanely risky. I think there's one that we all call “sparkly dick.” It was like chap legs with a rhinestone Speedo. Yeah, it was crazy.

Troye Sivan has announced details of a huge UK and European tour for 2024.
The tour is in support of Sivan’s acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’, which was released back in October. The record ? Sivan’s first in five years ? scored the Australian a glowing five-star review from Nick Levine for NME. Levine wrote: “It’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”
Hailed by The Guardian as "one of this year's best and most distinctive pop albums" and celebrated by Rolling Stone as "a pristine slice of pop heaven," the Something to Give Each Other Tour is destined to be Sivan 's biggest, boldest and brightest tour.
Sivan’s 17-date run will begin in Portugal on May 29, 2024, before continuing throughout Europe. Sivan arrives in the UK on June 22 at the Manchester AO Arena; the tour will conclude in Birmingham.

※In other words, "Bloom" is a gay anthem for bottoms, and when I ask Sivan if that's what the song is about, he plays coy but pretty much gives away the answer.
言い換えると、「Bloom」はゲイのボトムを讃える讃美歌なのだ。そして私がシヴァンに、この歌の意味するところはそれなのかを尋ねてみたところ、彼は恥ずかしそうにして、明答を避けたい様子だった。
※ "It's 100 per cent about flowers! That's all it is," he says with a wink. "Call it whatever you wanna call it. I wanna play that song at every Pride." In many ways, Sivan doesn't need to say a thing: his very presence is the power.
