Sivan : So, I like this time around we I just way overprepared because I was so so so nervous about again like the choreography and the everything. I was like this has to be the big pop show that I want it to be, so, way overprepare. And then, as far as like knock on wood, I did not get sick this tour, and that was my first tour that I didn't get sick. And it's because I think, I, like happier in general. I think I don't know. Yeah. Because I used to be like full bubble boy. Thank you.

And now, I'm like again we're playing outside like the sun is on my face as I'm singing these songs to crowds of people. It's like it's just everything just felt so aligned with, me and what I was like experiencing, and it just felt really really right. And so, um, I had my best friend on tour. I had six incredible dancers who I love, two band who I'm like obsessed with. And, um, yeah, it was just like a very special experience. And now I think one of the reasons why Charlie and I want to do it together is because, touring can be quite unsettling as far as like, you know, the lifestyle goes. The best part of the day is when you do the show, and then the rest of the day is like, you know, you're traveling, and you're at like, airports, and you're trying to not get sick, and you're warming up, and you're...

And the fact that it also lasts so long sometimes, you know, like after a year and a half of being on the road, your whole kind of like life has changed back home and you've, you know, been in this weird sort of, bubble and whatever, it's great, but it's just like interesting and different. And so, I think, for both Charlie and I to be able to be like, do you want to do this together? Um, that was a big I think motivation for both of us to want to do it. And then um, yeah, I think imagine how fun, you think it's going to be, and then just like times it by 100. I'm like a little bit scared. It's going to be so f**king crazy. I got a little tiny taste of it, so, in my tour in Europe, what we did is like I would um, start on a black screen, and then the screen would have this like pink line that would appear, and it would start to stretch out like this, and it would silhouette me, right? Very dramatic, very pop, very mindful.

Sivan : No, s**t, um, anyways, so, it would split and like the crowd would go nuts, whatever, epic, sick. Then at the end of the London show, I start '1999', and it's like sounds like it breaks. I go off the stage, the stage goes black, and the screen starts to split again, but this time, it's in brat green. And the silhouette of Charlie with like the wind in her hair and the smoke machine behind her and everything, it was like she was a f**king superhero. And it was like I've never heard a crowd go so ballistic in my entire life as I did for Charlie in that moment. And the fact that we get to do that together all summer is very very awful, sorry, whatever is like insanely exciting. Yeah, it's going to be crazy.

And I think that, there's so much, you know, like love in the audience and like incredible fashion and people who have been through a lot and pushed through it, and kind of have come together to celebrate, and share something really really special for a night, and so, you know I would say in the shows, and I meant every single word that, the tour was as much about them as it was about what was going on stage, you know what I mean, I was watching them have the connections, that I am talking about in the album. And so, it's like it's really special, and I think, I hope that we get to just kind of keep growing together forever.

Troye Sivan has announced details of a huge UK and European tour for 2024.
The tour is in support of Sivan’s acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’, which was released back in October. The record ? Sivan’s first in five years ? scored the Australian a glowing five-star review from Nick Levine for NME. Levine wrote: “It’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”
Hailed by The Guardian as "one of this year's best and most distinctive pop albums" and celebrated by Rolling Stone as "a pristine slice of pop heaven," the Something to Give Each Other Tour is destined to be Sivan 's biggest, boldest and brightest tour.
Sivan’s 17-date run will begin in Portugal on May 29, 2024, before continuing throughout Europe. Sivan arrives in the UK on June 22 at the Manchester AO Arena; the tour will conclude in Birmingham.Tickets for the shows go on sale on December 8 at 9am.

※He also has a song called "Bloom", on which he takes the role of what sounds like the receptive partner losing his virginity. "It's true, babe...I've been saving this for you...Promise me you'll hold my hand if I get scared now...Might tell you to take a second baby slow it down...You should know I bloom, I bloom just for you."

※In other words, "Bloom" is a gay anthem for bottoms, and when I ask Sivan if that's what the song is about, he plays coy but pretty much gives away the answer.

※Around age 18, secure in his identity, Sivan set the stage for his life to come with two videos: In May 2013, he posted an original song, inspired by the young adult best-seller The Fault in Our Stars, and in August, he came out to his followers. Both videos went viral. And then, so did he. Time magazine named him one of the 25 most influential teens of 2014. He walked in Hedi Slimane’s fall 2015 Saint Laurent menswear show. By 2016, he had over 4 million YouTube subscribers and was reportedly making upwards of six figures in sponsorships. “At that point,” he says, “I was just along for the ride.”

Sivan’s eight-minute, 17-second coming-out video is a rare thing, equal parts star power and vulnerable humanity. He had promised himself he would come out before signing a record deal, knowing it was the only way he could write music that would be completely honest. When pressed, he now says he briefly wondered if it might have lost him some young, infatuated female fans, but he “had no other choice. It was a moment where I was like, ‘I have to put myself first.’”（@「Billboard」誌）
