mistake. Matthew and Marilla don't know anything
about children and they'll expect him to be wiser
and steadier that his own grandfather, if so be's
he ever had a grandfather, which is doubtful.

でも養子になる子も可哀想ね、きっと。マシューもマリ
ラも子供ってものを知らないし、子供がお爺さんのよう
に賢くてしっかりしているはずだと思っているらしいわ。
もっともその子にお爺さんがいればの話だけど。
