brook at Green Gables even if I never see it again.

ここにはいなくなるし、小川があってもなくても関係な
いって思われるかもしれませんね。だけど関係あるんで
す。グリーンゲーブルに小川があったなってずっと覚え
ておきたいの。二度と見ることはなくても。

Have you ever noticed what cheerful things brooks
are? They're always laughing. Even in winter-time
I've heard them under the ice. I'm so glad there's
a brook near Green Gables.

お気づきになるかしら、小川がどれほど愉快なものなの
か。いつも笑っているのよ。冬でもね、氷の下から笑い
声が聞こえてくる。グリーンゲーブルの近くに小川があっ
てよかった。

on a morning like this? And I can hear the brook
laughing all the way up here.
