We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you.
For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus - and non-believers. fascism (ファシズム) = an extreme right-wing political system or attitude which is in favour
of strong central government and which does not allow any opposition
commusm (共産主義) = political movement that believes in an economic system
in which the state controls the mans of producing everything
on behalf of the people. Itaims to create a society in which
everyone is treated equally
alliance (同盟) = an agreement between countries, political parties, etc.
To work together in order to achieve something that they all want
prudent （慎重な）= sensible and careful when you make judgements and
decisions; avoiding unnecessary risks
emanate （発する）=to produce or show something
humility （謙虚さ）= the quality of not thinking that you are better than other people;
the quality of being humble
restraint （自制）= the quality of behaving calmly and with control

forge （鍛える）= to put a lot of efｆort into making something successful
or strong so that it will last
