日本Day2 鎌倉 Part 1。。。。。
DAY２の内容がちょっと多いため、分けてUPします。ｗ
この日はせぃちゃんの実家、鎌倉に行ってきました！
昔からずっと行きたかった鎌倉、dream come trueです！笑
まず最初に行ったのは大仏さま。
すごかったです！ｗ
目の前に行くと迫力がすごい！
今年もよろしくね！って。笑
みんなと同じく、手のひらにのせて写真をとって見ました。以外と難しい・・・
ずっとテレビとかで観てたから、やっと会えたって感じです。
これもデカイ・・・ｗ
次に連れてってもらったのが、銭洗弁天。
何それ？って思いながらせぃちゃんについて行く。
え？こっから入るの？？
暗いトンネルみたいなのを出たらこんな感じ。すごいきれい！！！
キタキタ！何を洗うのかな？？
そう！お金でした！！！！
こんなの初めて！！！
改めて面白いカルチャーをしりました！
早速オレもWASHING!笑
お金をきれいに流して、もっとお金が入ってきますように～だって。ｗ
てか本当にきれいだよね。

久しぶりの日本に何でも感動してテンション上がりっぱなしのKATEIです。w
いやぁ～１年７ヶ月ぐらいぶりかな？
空港にせぃちゃんが迎えにきてくれて、帰りの車でお台場に興奮、レインボーブリッジに興奮、東京タワーに興奮、道玄坂に興奮！笑
一人で大盛り上がりでした。爆笑

昨日はオレが昔一緒にやってた「王族BAND」っていうバンドとせぃちゃんがリハーサルだったので、サプライズで会ってきました。

みんなビックリしてたよ！w
せぃちゃんがリハーサル中、オレは久々に渋谷へGO!
ハチ公！元気だった？笑
日本にいる間、色んな方と連絡とりたいけど昔使ってた日本の携帯が使えなくて。。。
ってことでAUとかSoftbankでプリペイド携帯を色々聞きに行ったんだけど、外国人カードが必要でさ・・・だからせぃちゃんに頼んでプリペイド携帯GETしました！
でもね、昔使ってた日本の携帯にみんなの連絡先が入ってるから・・・iPhone5、昔の携帯、新しい携帯を全部持ち歩かないと・・・Orz
渋谷をブラブラしてたら、偶然お友達のジュリアさんとばったり！！
スゴくない？？こんなbig cityで！w
そして次は池袋で同級生とお茶してきました。
フクロウくん、ビックカメラに就職したの？笑
久々に通ったオレのビル。笑
せぃちゃんがリハーサル終わって、渋谷で集合。
夜はミュージシャン仲間のKeikoちゃん (Vanilla Mood)のセッションに参加しました。
Keikoちゃんと会うのも１年半以上ぶり。
彼女のCD、「Chameleon Jazz with Ghibli Flavor」のレコーディングに参加した以来だね。
久しぶりに会えたミュージシャンや新しく出会ったミュージシャンとセッションできてスゴく楽しかったです。
日本に来て、オレの中の楽しみは「食事」です。
日本の食べ物って本当に美味しいんだよ！w
昨日はせぃちゃんオススメの「スタミナ丼」を食べてきました！！
マジで旨い！！！！！！！
何か盛りだくさんな１日でした！

１０月の終わりは大学試験、そして仕事も忙しい時期に沢山の方々が来てくれて本当にありがたいです。

Big like a bear and also plays the grooviest bass around.

オレの親友、相棒＆ブラザー。日本で出会ってあれからずっと仲良くしてくれてる。オーストラリアでは「日本からのクレイジードラマー」と知られてる。
My best friend, my partner-in-crime and my brother since the day we met in Japan.

KATEI 'Distance' EP Release ワンマンライブ、無事終わりました！！
オレらメンバーも会場もスゴい盛り上がりました！！！
約束どおり、ライブレポです。
KATEI 'Distance' EP Release Concert was a success!!
We rocked the house down!!!!
Here's the LIVE REPORT of the gig.
今回のワンマンはオレの新しいEPのリリースでもありました。
よく「EPってなに？」って聞かれます。
EPはExtended Playです。シングルより多く、アルバムより少ないCDの事です。
This concert was to celebrate the release of my NEW EP.
Many have asked me "What is an EP?".
EP means Extended Play, which is a musical recording that contains
more music than a single, but is too short to qualify as a full studio album.
１０月３１日の１２時にBrisbane Powerhouse会場入り。
１週間前に日本から来てくれたドラムの早川誠一郎（せぃちゃん）と一緒に機材を会場に運びました。
We bumped in at 12pm on 31st OCT at Brisbane Powerhouse.
My drummer Seiichiro Hayakawa (Sei-chan), who arrived from Japan
a week before the show, helped me bump in the gear.

ドラムのセッティングを終えて、バイオリンのペダル、アンプそして今回初のワイアレスシステムのセッティングを終え、サウンドチェックを始めました。
We finished setting up the drums, my effects pedals, amp,
and the wireless system for my violins.
Then we started to sound check.
今回のワンマンも去年と同じく９人メンバー。
みんなプロとして活動してるミュージシャン。
ライブが平日だったため、みんなほぼ１６時まで仕事・・・
オレらが先にサウンドチェックして、全員でサウンドチェック出来たのもライブの２時間前。
Same as last year, I had 8 members on stage with me.
Everyone works professionally as musicians.
And since it was a weekday, almost everyone finished work at 4pm...
So Sei-chan and I did our sound check first.
By the time we all sound checked together, it was 2 hours before the show.

今年はスペシャルゲストとして、オレと一緒にメルボルンで活動してるバンドの「Armfield」にも来てもらいました。Armfieldは現在シングルをRECしてて、昨夜RECを終えmix作業に入りました！
出来上がりが楽しみです！！
I invited my band in Melbourne 'Armfield' as special guest
to perform a few songs.
Armfield will be releasing a single very soon!
In fact, we just finished our recording last night, and we're
in the mixing stages!! Can't wait to hear the final product!!
去年とちょっと雰囲気を変え、ロック曲をメインにしたセットです。
This year's song selections were all 'Rock' themed,
different to last year's concert.
オレは２週間前にメルボルンからブリスベンに戻り、メンバーとリハーサルを始めました。そしてライブの１週間前にせぃちゃんが日本から来てくれました。
さっきも言ったが、メンバーみんなフルタイムで仕事をしてるからリハーサルは夜から。
しかも長くて３時間とか・・・
１回のリハが３時間、日本だとあり得ないけどこっちだと普通って言うか・・・
でも仕方ない。時間のリミット、どうにかするしかない！みんなプロのミュージシャンだから信じるしかない！って感じでした。
I returned to Brisbane from Melbourne 2 weeks before the show.
Sei-chan arrived from Japan a week before the show.
Like I said before, everyone in the band works full time,
so rehearsals start in the evening for average 3 hours.
Rehearsing 3 hours at a time in Japan is unheard of!
(usually average 6-8 hours)
But this is what it is here. We had to make it work with the limited
time we had. It was really Do or Die! haha
I just had to believe in my members.
And they are ALL professional musicians too.
今回のライブもアコースティックバイオリン＆エレキバイオリンを使いました。
以前のライブと違うのはワイアレスシステムを使用しました。
スゲーらくで楽しかった！！！
ステージで暴れまくってもコードと絡まない！w
ライブのスタートは客席の後ろからエレキバイオリンを弾きながら入ってきました！
I used both my Acoustic Violin & my Electric Violin.
The only thing different to my usual set up was, I used a wireless system.
It was the best experience ever!!! I got to run and jump around the stage
without getting tangled in my cables!!
I even started the show by entering from the back of the theatre,
walking and playing my electric violin through the audience!
So much fun!!

I've always wanted to take a photo of the audience during my show...
So I did it! haha~ Here it is!
今回は半年前ぐらいからプラニング、マーケティング、メンバーの譜面を書き（５００ページぐらい）、EPのレコーディング、デザイン、パンフレットのデザイン、ポストカードのデザイン、ポスター、チケット販売、衣装、リハーサル、打ち合わせ、色々・・・
沢山の困難にぶつかったけど、すべて乗り越えてきました。
これは本当にオレの両親、オレの家族、スタッフ、
そしてメンバーみんなのおかげです。

Started planning for this concert about 6 months ago.
Everything from marketing, writing out
500 pages of music for the band, EP recording, design,
Program booklet designs, post card designs, posters,
ticket sales, stage costumes, rehearsals, meetings
and much more...
There were lots of difficulties and hard times...
but we got through them all!
This was all possible thanks to my parents,
my family, my working team, and the members of the band.
Everyone put in their efforts and became one.
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Last but not least, I would like to thank all of
my fans who came to the show.
Right now, it's exam time.
Even though people had exams, end of the months, week night,
you all still came to the show to support me.
I appreciate it very much.

KATEI 'Distance' EP Release Concert was a success!!
We rocked the house down!!!!
Here's the LIVE REPORT of the gig.
今回のワンマンはオレの新しいEPのリリースでもありました。
よく「EPってなに？」って聞かれます。
EPはExtended Playです。シングルより多く、アルバムより少ないCDの事です。
This concert was to celebrate the release of my NEW EP.
Many have asked me "What is an EP?".
EP means Extended Play, which is a musical recording that contains
more music than a single, but is too short to qualify as a full studio album.
１０月３１日の１２時にBrisbane Powerhouse会場入り。
１週間前に日本から来てくれたドラムの早川誠一郎（せぃちゃん）と一緒に機材を会場に運びました。
We bumped in at 12pm on 31st OCT at Brisbane Powerhouse.
My drummer Seiichiro Hayakawa (Sei-chan), who arrived from Japan
a week before the show, helped me bump in the gear.

ドラムのセッティングを終えて、バイオリンのペダル、アンプそして今回初のワイアレスシステムのセッティングを終え、サウンドチェックを始めました。
We finished setting up the drums, my effects pedals, amp,
and the wireless system for my violins.
Then we started to sound check.
今回のワンマンも去年と同じく９人メンバー。
みんなプロとして活動してるミュージシャン。
ライブが平日だったため、みんなほぼ１６時まで仕事・・・
オレらが先にサウンドチェックして、全員でサウンドチェック出来たのもライブの２時間前。
Same as last year, I had 8 members on stage with me.
Everyone works professionally as musicians.
And since it was a weekday, almost everyone finished work at 4pm...
So Sei-chan and I did our sound check first.
By the time we all sound checked together, it was 2 hours before the show.

今年はスペシャルゲストとして、オレと一緒にメルボルンで活動してるバンドの「Armfield」にも来てもらいました。Armfieldは現在シングルをRECしてて、昨夜RECを終えmix作業に入りました！
出来上がりが楽しみです！！
I invited my band in Melbourne 'Armfield' as special guest
to perform a few songs.
Armfield will be releasing a single very soon!
In fact, we just finished our recording last night, and we're
in the mixing stages!! Can't wait to hear the final product!!
去年とちょっと雰囲気を変え、ロック曲をメインにしたセットです。
This year's song selections were all 'Rock' themed,
different to last year's concert.
オレは２週間前にメルボルンからブリスベンに戻り、メンバーとリハーサルを始めました。そしてライブの１週間前にせぃちゃんが日本から来てくれました。
さっきも言ったが、メンバーみんなフルタイムで仕事をしてるからリハーサルは夜から。
しかも長くて３時間とか・・・
１回のリハが３時間、日本だとあり得ないけどこっちだと普通って言うか・・・
でも仕方ない。時間のリミット、どうにかするしかない！みんなプロのミュージシャンだから信じるしかない！って感じでした。
I returned to Brisbane from Melbourne 2 weeks before the show.
Sei-chan arrived from Japan a week before the show.
Like I said before, everyone in the band works full time,
so rehearsals start in the evening for average 3 hours.
Rehearsing 3 hours at a time in Japan is unheard of!
(usually average 6-8 hours)
But this is what it is here. We had to make it work with the limited
time we had. It was really Do or Die! haha
I just had to believe in my members.
And they are ALL professional musicians too.
今回のライブもアコースティックバイオリン＆エレキバイオリンを使いました。
以前のライブと違うのはワイアレスシステムを使用しました。
スゲーらくで楽しかった！！！
ステージで暴れまくってもコードと絡まない！w
ライブのスタートは客席の後ろからエレキバイオリンを弾きながら入ってきました！
I used both my Acoustic Violin & my Electric Violin.
The only thing different to my usual set up was, I used a wireless system.
It was the best experience ever!!! I got to run and jump around the stage
without getting tangled in my cables!!
I even started the show by entering from the back of the theatre,
walking and playing my electric violin through the audience!
So much fun!!

I've always wanted to take a photo of the audience during my show...
So I did it! haha~ Here it is!
今回は半年前ぐらいからプラニング、マーケティング、メンバーの譜面を書き（５００ページぐらい）、EPのレコーディング、デザイン、パンフレットのデザイン、ポストカードのデザイン、ポスター、チケット販売、衣装、リハーサル、打ち合わせ、色々・・・
沢山の困難にぶつかったけど、すべて乗り越えてきました。
これは本当にオレの両親、オレの家族、スタッフ、
そしてメンバーみんなのおかげです。
みんなが一つになり、力を合わせたから出来たと思います。
心から感謝してます。

本当にありがとうございます！！

今年の５月にワンマンライブの準備を始め、

Started planning my 'Distance' EP Release concert in May,
got back to Brisbane 2 weeks ago to start rehearsals with the band,
my drummer Seiichiro flew down from Japan last week,
and tonight, the time has finally come!
Last night was our final rehearsal with the band.
Same as last year, I've got my 9 piece rock band including myself.
Everyone works during the day time,
so rehearsals are usually at night.
Thanks guys for staying till late every time.
There were lots of obstacles on the way,
but all seem to work out fine in the end.
The show must go on!!
We're heading into Brisbane Powerhouse Theatre at 12pm today
to set up and sound check.

そういう子供たちがいち早く学校に行けて、みんなと同じ教育を受けれるようにと思ってます。
