そしたらDragon AshのベーシストIKUZONEさんもいました～W
明日は渋谷eggmanでビジャンドゥのライブを観に行きます！

関西キャンペーン DAY 2。。。。。
関西キャンペーンの続きです～
２日目は朝の１１時にホテルのロビーで集合。
この日は阪急西宮ガーデンズでインストアライブ。
東京にいた時からこの日の天気をずっとチェック。。。
前の夜チェックしたら「雨９０％」。。。
どうしよ～？！って思いながら外に出ると。。。
晴れてんじゃん！w
天気予報では１４時までは晴れるって、でもオレのライブは１４時スタートなんだけどね。。。
スタッフみんなが「自分、晴れ男ですから大丈夫！」とか「私、晴れ女ですよ～」とか言ってくれた。
スタッフと集合して、もう一度FM 802へ向かった。前の日に仕事で挨拶できなかった方がいたので。
挨拶が終わったらスタッフの方が「後ちょっとでシェリー富岡さんのラジオ番組が終わるから挨拶しにいこう～」ってなった！
「また来てくれたの？嬉しい～」って喜んでくれました！w
そしたら、写真を撮ろう！ってなって、シェリーさんのスタジオの中で撮りました～
「この写真をGLAYのJIROくんに送るね！」って言ってくれた～w
次回はシェリーさんの番組生出演ヨロシクお願いします～♪
挨拶の後、阪急西宮ガーデンズへ移動～
天気どうなるんだろう。。。って思いながら４０分位で到着。
場所はでっかいショッピングセンターの屋上っぽい広いスペースだった。
サウンドチェックの時、奇跡が！！！
なんと、青空が！！！！
メッチャ晴れて太陽も出て来てスゴいぽかぽかして暖かかった！
さすが晴れ男と晴れ女のスタッフさんたち！！！笑
沢山のお客さんが集まってくれて、青空の下で演奏できて本当に気持ちよかった！！
関西にいる友達も何人か観に来てくれたし、CDもいっぱい買ってくれて嬉しかったです！
本当にありがとう！！！
でもね。。。
オレ、またやっちゃったよ。。。
「大阪でライブ、始めてです！また大阪に来ます！」
とか何回も言っちゃってさ。。。
前の日、ラジオでのミスもあるから今回は大丈夫でしょ～って思いつつ...

難しいです。。。w
間違ってゴメンね！今度はちゃんと調べます～w
この話しを昨日、森くんのリハでしたら、
『カテイ君は外国人だから「関西に来ました～！」とか「日本に来ました～！」で良いんじゃない？笑』って言われて、「日本に来ました～！」はちょっとまとめ過ぎじゃない？笑
ライブの後はサイン会と握手会～
CDいっぱい買ってくれてアリガトウございます～
関西の方は関東の方とちょっと違って、いっぱい話しをして来るね～w
本当にfriendlyな人がいっぱい！

This is the 2nd day of Kansai promotion trip~
We met up at the hotel lobby at 11am.
Today's the gig at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gargens.
We've been checking the weather report since we were in Tokyo...
The night before, it was forecasted 90% chances of rain...
We were all worried, but as we walked out of the hotel...
IT WAS SUNNY!!!
The latest weather report said that it'll be sunny till 2pm,
but my gig starts at 2 pm.....
After we met up with the my staff at the lobby, we headed off to FM 802 once
again to say a quick hello to some people who we couldn't greet yesterday.
As we finished greeting, one of the staff told me that Shirley is finishing off
her radio show now, so we went and said a quick hello to her too~
Shirley was really happy to see me again!!
We even went into her studio and took a photo together!
she also said...
"I'm gonna send this picture to JIRO from GLAY right away!!"
Hope to be on your show next time I'm in Osaka♪!
After greet and meet, we headed to Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens.
Took us 40mins to get there.
Still worried about the weather, coz the gig was at an open space!
During sound check, a miracle happened!!
The sky was clear!! Beautiful blue sky!!
It was so sunny that the sunshine was really warm!
Lots of people came to my gig!! Felt so good playing under the sunny sky!
Many of my Kansai area friends came to my gig too~
And many bought my CDs as well!!
Thank you all very much!!!
But you know what?
I did it again....
I kept saying..
"This is my very first gig in OSAKA!" & "Hope to be back here in OSAKA!"
I was so careful you know? coz I kept saying Osaka yesterday in my radio
appearance, in fact we weren't in Osaka area...
Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens is not OSAKA.... it's more KOBE area...
Damn it~~
It's so hard....
I'm sorry I got it wrong! I'll make sure I wiki it before my every gig!! lol

This shop, 551, only sells pork buns in OSAKA!! (Kansai?)
It's THE BEST!!!!

I love pork buns from 551!
It's been 3 years since I last ate this!!
It was soooo delicious!!
The Kansai area promotion trip was so much fun!!
Met a lot of people and had the best experience ever!!

I'm performing with him and his band @ Shibuya DUO Music Exchange
on 23rd of December.

Mori-san's Album Launch gig.

関西キャンペーン DAY 1 Part 2。。。。。
FM 802での挨拶が終わって、次は京都へGo～！
１８時過ぎに着いて、次はα Station (アルファステーション)で雑誌の取材とラジオの生出演！
雑誌の取材は女性雑誌の「leaf」さん。楽しかった～
１９時半に谷口キヨコさんの番組「Chummy Train」に生出演！
ここでアルバムの話しをいっぱいして、"Shooting Star"を生演奏！
しかも、アルバム以外の話しもいっぱいしたよ～！w
例えば・・・
女子から言われたらキュンとくる言葉とか。。。笑
まぁ、色々と照れるquestionが多かったね～
聞けた方はluckyって言う事で～w
でもね、
今回の関西キャンペーンの打ち合わせとかでずっと「大阪」って言って来たから・・・
京都のラジオなのにずっと間違って「大阪のラジオって初めてなんですよ！」なんて言ってさ・・・
マジ恥ずかしいよ～w
でもメッチャ楽しかったです～！！！
また遊びにいきます！
京都タワーつまんじゃったよ～w
ラジオの後は大阪の梅田に戻り、ホテルの近くのお好み焼き屋さんの「めっせ熊」で晩ご飯～
大阪って言ったら粉ものでしょ？
オレはお好み焼きとか大好きだからね！
これがお店の豚平焼！
すげー美味かった！
その後はもう仕事がなかったからホテルに戻ってゆっくり休めた。
始めての関西キャンペーン、
最高な１日目でした！！！！
ちなみにこれ、大阪の神様（？）だったかな？笑
忘れちった～汗

After meet and greet at FM 802, we headed straight to KYOTO~!!
Arrived at Kyoto around 6pm, and my next interview was at α Station (Alfa Station).
It was a magazine interview~
The magazine was called "leaf" and the main target is for ladies 20 yrs and older.
It was a lot of fun!!
At 7:30pm, I was on a show called "Chummy Train" hosted by
DJ Taniguchi Kiyoko~
Talked lots about my album and I also performed 'Shooting Star' live in studio!
And we also talked about things that didn't concern my album~ hehe
For example...
What does a girl have to say, to make you melt? HAHAHA
Well, no details here!!
If you heard the show, consider yourself LUCKY! haha
But you know what?
During our meeting about this 'Kansai Area' promotions, we've been calling it 'Osaka' Promotions instead of 'Kansai; promotions...
This radio station was in KYOTO, but I kept on saying
"I love Osaka, and this is my first Osaka radio gig!!".....
What an idiot~~!!
I'm so embarrassed~!!
But hope I'll be back soon on your show!!

After the radio gig, we headed back to Umeda in Osaka city.
We made our way to an Okonomi-yaki restaurant near our hotel called "messe kuma".
Osaka is known for it's best Okonomi-yaki in JAPAN!!
I lo~ve Okonomi-yaki!!
It was soooo delicious!!
I had no more jobs after dinner, so we all headed back to our hotel
and had a good night rest!!
My very first promotion in Kansai area,
And it was the best day ever!!!
The last pic is... i think it's the god of Osaka. hahaha
I can't remember exactly what he was...
But the christmas costume looks great on him rite? haha

関西キャンペーン DAY 1 Part 1。。。。。
先週末は関西でデビューアルバム『JOURNEY』のキャンペーンを
して来ました！
久しぶりの新幹線だった～
てか大阪も３年ぶりだったな。
朝の８時２７分「品川駅」出発！
新幹線乗ってるとたまに飛行機乗ってる感覚なんだよね～
メッチャ不思議！w
２時間半で新大阪に到着！
１１時過ぎに大阪のビクター事務所に着いて、１１時半から早速取材！！
来日する前は、関西の友達が多かったから結構関西弁を聞いてたんだけど（オレも関西弁で話してた～w）東京に来てからあんまりリアルタイムで聞かないからメッチャ久しぶりだった！w
新聞の取材が２つ終わり、次は FM 802へ挨拶に～♪
てかこの犬たちすげー可愛いでしょ？？w
FM 802に着いて色んな方に挨拶をした。「KATEI」って言うアーティストを知ってもらうために。
丁度番組の山添まりさんの誕生日でofficeで「いぇ～ぃ！」って祝ってたからバイオリンを出して「KATEI style HAPPY BIRTHDAY」をプレゼントした～♪
スゴい喜んでもらった～ お誕生日おめでとうございます！！
FM 802でシャーリー富岡さんに紹介してくれて色んな話しをしたら、FM 802の２０周年記念でGLAYのJIROさんがフォトグラファーとしてシャーリーさんとコラボして写真exhibitionを開いたんだって！
しかもJIROさんはFM 802で番組もやってるんだ～
オレね、実はメッチャGLAYファンなんだよ～！！！w
丁度J-popに出会って、最初に聞いてたバンドがGLAYで、ROCKを好きになったのもGLAYのお陰なんだ。しかも弟と一緒に一生懸命貯めたお小遣いでエレキギターを買って、GLAYのスコアを買って友達とカバーバンドをしてたぐらいファンなんだよ～！笑
「いつかGLAYと同じステージで一緒にソロとか出来たらいいなぁ～」って思ってた。
その話しをシャーリーさんにしながらオレのフライング V のエレキバイオリンを見せたら、
「JIROくんがこのフライング V エレキバイオリンを見たら絶対驚くし喜ぶよ！JIROくんに写真送るね。そしてアルバムもJIROくんのロッカーに入れてあげる！JIROくんって結構足を運んでライブに観に行くタイプだからKATEIくんのライブがあったら是非一緒に観に行くよ！いつかGLAYさんと一緒にライブできたら良いね！その楽器はGLAYさんのイメージとピッタリだしね！」って言ってくれて。。。
もうオレは鳥肌立ちっぱなしで～笑

Last weekend, I was in South West of Japan for promoting my album "JOURNEY".
It's been a while since I traveled in a bullet train~
I haven't been to Osaka for maybe over 3 years.
We left SHINAGAWA station @ 8:27am for SHIN-OSAKA Station.
The bullet train ride is so smooth, that half way there,
I thought we were on an airplane!
So weird!! lol
2 and a half hours later, we arrive at SHIN-OSAKA station!
We arrive at Osaka Victor Entertainment office at 11am,
and I had my first interview of the day @ 11:30am!!
In Kansai area (South/West Japan), people speak Kansai dialect.
It's a little different to the 'normal' Japanese to Tokyo.
But before I came to Japan, I had lots of Kansai area friends, so I'm quite
used to hearing it. At one point, I even spoke Kansai dialect~
But since I came to Tokyo, I haven't heard Kansai dialect, so it was
fun hearing it again~
After 2 news paper interviews, we went to FM 802 to meet and greet~♪
I met and greeted lots of people at FM 802, one of the most popular radio
station in Kansai area.
By coincidence, a radio DJ Yamazoe Mari had her birthday announced in the
office and everyone was cheering for her. So I decided to pull out my violin
and play her my version of 'Happy Birthday' to her~♪
She loved it and everyone in the office thought it was nice!!
Left an awesome impression!!

@ FM 802, they introduced me to Shirley Fujioka. She is also a DJ there.
We got talking and she tells me that JIRO from GLAY (an awesome rock band in Japan) just collaborated with her and took some b&w photography and has an photo exhibition in Osaka celebrating FM 802's 20th anniversary.
JIRO from GLAY also does DJ at FM 802 as well!!!

When I first got into J-pop, GLAY is the very first band I got into.
You could also say that thanks to GLAY, I got into ROCK as well.
My younger brother and I even went out and bought electric guitars with our own
pocket money, and formed a GLAY covers band!!
We even dreamt that 'wouldn't it be awesome if we could play solo with GLAY one day?'
I told Shirley this story and showed her my Flying V electric Violin.
Then she says,
"If JIRO saw this Flying V electric violin, he would go nuts!!
I'll definitely send him a picture of this, AND leave your album in his locker!!
JIRO actually loves going to live gigs himself, so if you do have a gig lined up,
we'll definitely be there!! Hope you can perform with GLAY one day!!
That instrument is so perfect to play with GLAY!!!"
I was like.... goose bumps all over!!
I was soooooo excited!!!!

して来ました！
久しぶりの新幹線だった～てか大阪も３年ぶりだったな。
朝の８時２７分「品川駅」出発！
新幹線乗ってるとたまに飛行機乗ってる感覚なんだよね～
メッチャ不思議！w
２時間半で新大阪に到着！
１１時過ぎに大阪のビクター事務所に着いて、１１時半から早速取材！！
来日する前は、関西の友達が多かったから結構関西弁を聞いてたんだけど（オレも関西弁で話してた～w）東京に来てからあんまりリアルタイムで聞かないからメッチャ久しぶりだった！w
新聞の取材が２つ終わり、次は FM 802へ挨拶に～♪
てかこの犬たちすげー可愛いでしょ？？w
FM 802に着いて色んな方に挨拶をした。「KATEI」って言うアーティストを知ってもらうために。
丁度番組の山添まりさんの誕生日でofficeで「いぇ～ぃ！」って祝ってたからバイオリンを出して「KATEI style HAPPY BIRTHDAY」をプレゼントした～♪
スゴい喜んでもらった～ お誕生日おめでとうございます！！
FM 802でシャーリー富岡さんに紹介してくれて色んな話しをしたら、FM 802の２０周年記念でGLAYのJIROさんがフォトグラファーとしてシャーリーさんとコラボして写真exhibitionを開いたんだって！
しかもJIROさんはFM 802で番組もやってるんだ～
オレね、実はメッチャGLAYファンなんだよ～！！！w
丁度J-popに出会って、最初に聞いてたバンドがGLAYで、ROCKを好きになったのもGLAYのお陰なんだ。しかも弟と一緒に一生懸命貯めたお小遣いでエレキギターを買って、GLAYのスコアを買って友達とカバーバンドをしてたぐらいファンなんだよ～！笑
「いつかGLAYと同じステージで一緒にソロとか出来たらいいなぁ～」って思ってた。
その話しをシャーリーさんにしながらオレのフライング V のエレキバイオリンを見せたら、
「JIROくんがこのフライング V エレキバイオリンを見たら絶対驚くし喜ぶよ！JIROくんに写真送るね。そしてアルバムもJIROくんのロッカーに入れてあげる！JIROくんって結構足を運んでライブに観に行くタイプだからKATEIくんのライブがあったら是非一緒に観に行くよ！いつかGLAYさんと一緒にライブできたら良いね！その楽器はGLAYさんのイメージとピッタリだしね！」って言ってくれて。。。
もうオレは鳥肌立ちっぱなしで～笑
ちょ～興奮状態！！！

Last weekend, I was in South West of Japan for promoting my album "JOURNEY".
It's been a while since I traveled in a bullet train~
I haven't been to Osaka for maybe over 3 years.
We left SHINAGAWA station @ 8:27am for SHIN-OSAKA Station.
The bullet train ride is so smooth, that half way there,
I thought we were on an airplane!
So weird!! lol
2 and a half hours later, we arrive at SHIN-OSAKA station!
We arrive at Osaka Victor Entertainment office at 11am,
and I had my first interview of the day @ 11:30am!!
In Kansai area (South/West Japan), people speak Kansai dialect.
It's a little different to the 'normal' Japanese to Tokyo.
But before I came to Japan, I had lots of Kansai area friends, so I'm quite
used to hearing it. At one point, I even spoke Kansai dialect~
But since I came to Tokyo, I haven't heard Kansai dialect, so it was
fun hearing it again~
After 2 news paper interviews, we went to FM 802 to meet and greet~♪
I met and greeted lots of people at FM 802, one of the most popular radio
station in Kansai area.
By coincidence, a radio DJ Yamazoe Mari had her birthday announced in the
office and everyone was cheering for her. So I decided to pull out my violin
and play her my version of 'Happy Birthday' to her~♪
She loved it and everyone in the office thought it was nice!!
Left an awesome impression!!

@ FM 802, they introduced me to Shirley Fujioka. She is also a DJ there.
We got talking and she tells me that JIRO from GLAY (an awesome rock band in Japan) just collaborated with her and took some b&w photography and has an photo exhibition in Osaka celebrating FM 802's 20th anniversary.
JIRO from GLAY also does DJ at FM 802 as well!!!
