今回（金メダルを）持っていけなかったなっていうの強く思いました。
悔しいより、苦しいの方が大きかったかもしれないですね。
This time I was not able to bring (the Olympic gold) to them, this fact occupies my heart.
I think it was not “frustration” but rather like a pain in my heart.

今回のオリンピックだって、金メダル、悔しかったって、それはもうごく自然な感情だと思うんですけど、あそこまで努力した、挑戦したということ自体がもう私たちからしたら、心のなかで金メダル。
大きな頑張る力になったというふうに私は思っています。
In the Olympics, you told you were frustrated about the gold medal, yes, it’s a natural feeling, but you made utmost efforts, and bravely challenged, this fact is already a gold medal in our hearts.

そうなんだよね、北京でも言っていたけど、今回は被災地に何にも持って帰れないって。
あの時も、泣いたよ。
結弦君は、ただ、自分が、とか自分をサポートしていれる人のためだけではなく
被災地の多くの人々のためにって気持ちでどんな試合にも臨んでいたんだもの。
なんか、本当に、結弦君の苦しい気持ち・・・
ちょっぴりだけなんだろうけど、感じるよね。
そして、高原さんの温かな言葉。
本当に、ここで結弦君、言葉にしているようにほっとしただろうね。

Yeah, Yuzu was not working hard not only for himself,
not only for fans or people around him, but
Yuzu has been working so hard to encourage the disaster suffered people.
So, yeah, it must be terribly tough for Yuzu to coming back to the disaster affected area, his home town.

中学二年生の酒主大誉君。
4年前、羽生さんが訪問した時は小学生でした。
現在学校で楢葉町の特産品を使った商品を開発しています。
Homare Sakanushi, 8th grader.
When Mr. Hanyu visited there last time, he was in the primary school.
Now, he’s working for developing local products using local specialities at his school.
楢葉町のことを日本の皆さんによく知ってもらうために色んな商品を考えていることです。
結弦君：おお、凄い。頑張りは絶対どっかで実るから。
We work for developing products to introduce our town to people all over Japan.
Oh, great. When you make efforts, you will surely be rewarded someday.
そして、最後の「頑張りは絶対どっかで実るから」
この言葉に本当にほっとしたし、泣けた。
And Yuzu's word "You will surely be rewarded someday."

そして夕方張り付けた演技後の高原さんとの会話。

「自分から前に進むんだって思って、違う環境に進んだばっかりなんですけど、やっぱり・・なんだろ、先が見えないって言うか、凄く怖いものが正直あって。」
メディアのインタビューでは、結構、自信に満ちているようにも思えたけど、でも、こうして、本音を言える人に会えたことは、結弦君のおっきな力になったよね、きっと。
"I decided to move forward initiated by myself, I just started entering the new environment, but, actually, well, honestly talking I feel insecure since I can’t forecast my future."
In the interviews it seems Yuzu had big confidence, but it's really good that Yuzu had such an opportunity to talk honestly.
The meeting with Ms. Takahara must be really a good opportunity for Yuzu to gain power.
