「身体表現にも語彙力が必要」「とことん勉強して、それを氷上でやることができたら、それは唯一無二の存在になれるのではないかと思っているんです」とハングリー精神旺盛な一面を見せた。
氷上は自分自身にとって“母国語”みたいなものだと明かし、どこまでも唯一無二の羽生結弦として、氷上での表現を極める彼が日頃考えていることを『GQ JAPAN』だけに語った。

Hanyu Yuzuru continues to pursue his own way of being “Hanyu Yuzuru”, such as taking on the challenge of a new expression in the form of a whole self-produced ice show.

“For physical expression, vocabulary is necessary.” “I think while studying thoroughly then if I can embody all of them on the ice, I would be able to become the one and only.” while saying these, he also showed his hungry spirit.
He as the mastered person of expression on the ice also told that being on the ice is like his “native language”, and told exclusively to GQ Japan that he daily keeps thinking about how to stay as the one and only Hanyu Yuzuru.

Although Yuzuru Hanyu has turned his back on competition, the two-time Olympic figure skating champion's desire to achieve unparalleled heights remains unwavering in his new venture as an ice show artist.

競技に見切りを付けたオリンピック2連覇チャンピオン羽生結弦は、アイスショー・アーティストという新たなジャンルでもゆるぎなく前人未到の高みを目指している

In a March interview, the 29-year-old said he would not return to competition but feels compelled to deliver skating performances at "the highest level in the world."

29歳の羽生は3月のインタビューで、競技に戻ることはありえないが「世界最高レベル」のスケート・パフォーマンスを届け続けると語った。

In February 2023, Hanyu became the first skater to perform solo at Tokyo Dome in a show attended by around 35,000 spectators.

2023年2月、羽生はスケーターとして初、約3万5千人の観客を動員した東京ドーム単独公演を行っている。

という意味がかなり強い言い方なんだわ

The performance was also shown live to paying audiences in Japan and overseas at movie theaters. This past February, a show on Hanyu's first solo tour drew a standing-room-only crowd in Yokohama.

公演は国内および海外の映画館での有料ライブ配信も行われていた。

また初の単独ツアーでは、今年2月に行われた横浜公演で立見席を用意するほどの観客を動員している。

In July 2022, five months after failing to win a third straight Olympic gold medal, Hanyu left competition behind, saying that he "stopped wanting to be evaluated" in terms of points, but would seek new ways to express himself in skating exhibitions.

オリンピック3連覇を逃した5ケ月後の2022年7月、羽生は競技から去った。
点数による「評価ではなく」、スケート公演で彼自身を表現する新たな道を開拓すると買っていた。

"I have taken all the necessary steps (in competition) to get to this point," Hanyu said, expressing no regrets about his change of direction.

「やり残したことは何一つなく」と羽生は語り、プロ転向への後悔は全くないと続けた。

With total creative control over his shows as producer and director, Hanyu is working with an array of talented collaborators. In addition to choreographer Mikiko, Hanyu has summoned top visual, music and lighting professionals.

プロデューサー、そして監督として自らショーの制作を指揮す羽生は、多彩な協働者を得ている。羽生の元には、振付師のMIKIKO先生をはじめ、映像、音楽、照明など一流のプロが集まっている。

 

 

 

 

"My mind was attached to doing things one can't imagine within the competitive framework," Hanyu said. "I feel as if the others involved are so far ahead of me. I need to evolve."

「競争の枠組みの中では想像もつかないようなことをという想いがあります。
まだスタッフに追いついていない気がするんです、もっと深化せねばという気持ちです。」

Despite his international fame, Hanyu, a native of northeastern Japan's Miyagi Prefecture, maintains strong ties with the area, which was devastated by the March 11, 2011 magnitude-9.0 earthquake and tsunami.

国際的な名声を得てもなおかつ宮城県出身の羽生は、2011年3月11日に発生したM9.0の地震と津波により壊滅的な被害を受けた地域との強い絆を持ち続けている。

羽生は、元旦に石川県を震撼させ、200人以上の死者を出したM7.6の地震被災者へも想いを寄せていると述べた。

"I keep skating with the wish that those people affected can put aside reality, and experience joy for a moment," he said.

「被災された方々も一瞬でもいいので、現実を忘れ喜びを感じて欲しいという気持ちを込めスケートを続けます」と話した。

贅沢三昧

ユヅまみれの日々が続いて

なんと幸せなことか！

Yesterday too, full of Yuzu！！

 

 

 

 

ってかさぁちらっと愚痴っていい？

先日も肝心な時に誤嚥騒ぎがあって苦し紛れに食器やらなんやら床に散らばり

一昨日 ちょい事件があって お洗濯したばかりなのに　また！？！って状態で大洗濯になったのよ

でね こ～してねって予防策を提案していたのに「いや！」の一言・・・だ・か・ら！

言ったじゃん！ちゃんと言うこと聞いてくれていたら 昨日の騒ぎは小さかった！

同じ失態をやらかしたわけよ！

それも大事な時間に また洗濯物をどっさり

それもね 洗濯機にポイ！スイッチオン！じゃダメな状態よ

これこのまま洗濯したら大変・・・って

だ・か・ら！言ったじゃん！じじぃぃぃ！！！

（と 朝からすみません！ちょっと聞いてぇって状態だったので）

でもさぁ ばたばたしつつも

結弦君に完全浄化してもらった夜でした！

ありがとう 結弦君！

First of all, let Sarah vent！

Something happens in an important moment,

yeah, last night too, Sarah wanted to enjoy "notte stellata"

but, gosh, her old father didn't let her do, , ,

Sarah suggested him something to mitigate damage

昨日早々に録画データを送ってもらったのよ

やったぁ～って喜んでいたら

事件が起きちゃったんだけどね・・・

（何が起こるかわからないので　早めに保存させてもらった方がいいかも・・・）

And Yuzu's jumps on the floor too

まったく同じようにジャンプしているのよ！

これってどんだけ練習しているの？

こんなにシンクロするほどになるには

とんでもない時間 血と汗と涙の練習を積んでいるって証拠だよね

You see, Yuzu can jump exactly in the same manner and timing.

Synchronising perfectly！！

This tells that he practices so many time

till he can do the exactly same jump

whenever, wherever and forever！！

3つのプログラム　ノーカットで流してくてただけじゃなくて

Notte Stellataは歌詞の和訳を字幕に入れてくれていて

Carmina BuranaとDanny Boy は

結弦君がインタで説明していた物語をナレーションしてくれていて

誰が見ても分かりやすくという配慮もありがたいっす！

（願わくば全国放送だけど・・・

ってか宮城と金沢の放送が5月4日とのことなので

動画はそれ以後かな？お願い お願いしまする日テレさま！）

The TV programme also showed

three of Yuzu's programmes performed in notte stellata,

in Notte Stellata, they added Japanese translation of the lyrics,

and in Carmina Burana and Danny Boy,

the narration explained the stories of both programmes

which Yuzu explaind in the interview.

Such additions may help those who watched

these programmes first to understand them well.

It was a thoughful programme.

Although this TV programme was broadcasted

only in and around Tokyo,

this will be broadcasted in Miyagi and Shimane prefectures

on 4 May.

Hopefully, they will release the official video of this programme

on their official YouTube channel after 4 May, , ,
