She (Ari'el=Jerusalem) shall be visited of the LORD of Hosts with thunder, and with earthquake (Mat 24:7, Mark 13:18, Luke 21:11, Rev 11:13), and great noise, with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of a devouring fire.

It happened at midnight, that the LORD struck all the firstborn in the land of Mitzurayim, from the firstborn of Par'oh who sat on his the throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
Par'oh rose up in the night, he and all his servants, and all the Mitzurayim; and there was a great cry in Mitzurayim, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
Therefore thus says the LORD, the God Tzva'ot, the LORD: "Wailing will be in all the broad ways; And they will say in all the streats, 'Alas! Alas! And they will call the farmer to mourning, And those who are skilful in lamentation to wailing.
The LORD said to him, Go throuth the midst of the city, through the midst of Yerushalayim, and set a mark on the foreheads of the menthat sign and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst of it.
黙示録7章/Rev 7 (Esv)

They (Locusts given such power as the scorpion possesses) were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not havethe seal of God on their foreheads.
