pancake is one of my favorites. me and my wife had breakfast at a family restaurant (call it "fami-res"). i think this was the first time to eat pancake at restaurants ever since i came backto japan. oh, i miss ihop (internaional house of pancakes).....
last night, i went out to have dinner + drinks with my wife and her fellows. food was great, as always. after a couple of beer mugs, i switched to drink shochu. don't remember how many glasses of shochu i swallowed. in fact, some of the memories in the last moment until came back home were gone somewhere.
when i woke up this morning, my wife said "hey, bills are all over on the hallway." so, i went there and saw it. well, they were actually all over on the hallway..... i picked them up and put them in my bag.
then i instantly noticed that two of my blongins were missing: digital camera (only a year old) + cigarette case (got in singaore)!! i looked for them in rooms but coudn't find 'em. yes, i lost 'em.....
none of us remember which taxi we took. the only clue was the body color of the taxi was like red, orange or something like that. my wife seached the taxi on the internet and called one taxi company. but they said nothing reported for lost items.....
lucky it wasn't worse as my wallet, cell phone, etc. were in my bag.
財布や携帯などがバッグに入っていたのが、不幸中の幸いでした。
about 5 months ago, i had injury in my finger. it happened because i drank too much. now, i lost two valuable items and the incident obviously is related to drinking..... i guess, i am getting old?? anyway, i committed to myself that i will be careful from the next time.
last night, i went to pick my wife up at the airport. she just came back from the business trip to kagoshima + tokyo. since she was with a lady from the us, we took her to her hotel at the edge of downtown area.
so, here are the souvenirs from kagoshima and tokyo: bottles of distilled spirit.
というわけで、鹿児島と東京からのお土産、焼酎です。
she got this from the person she knows. the person told her that this is made in jiyugaoka, tokyo and is pretty rare one. as the label says, it's 15 years old. it's got sophisticated taste and actually a bit sweet.
this is from kagoshima. taste is like "this is shochu," which is totally opposite from above one.
これは鹿児島のお土産。「これぞ焼酎」ってな感じの味で、上の焼酎とは真逆の味。
i wonder why they name their shochu weirdly. above one is named "i am a child of the ocean." however this is made with soba (buckwheat) and rice... what's up with "ocean"...??
translation continues..... this time, 20 pages long with the font size less than 10!! since i sit on my desk all day long, i tend to smoke more than i used to. whenever i stuck with the translation, i grab a cigarette and light it. i think most smokers agree with my action.
i am soooo tired today..... didn't burn fat but did burn my brain.....?

as you see by the track list, this is the reggae version of beatles' songs. the point is, that they are old, not like covers done by those up-to-date young artists. very much laid-back.
in the morning, i found a piece of our kitty kitty's discharge on the carpet. later, i found two more pieces. so, i picked 'em up and cleaned with carpet cleaner. she creatively uses two toilets: one for number one and the other (with roof) for number two. oh well, hope she's not against me.....
it's really a nice day to go our for those who want to go out. me? i am in the middle of "operation turtle," so i decided to stay home. with regard to the previous entry, i decided not to go due for the operation..... besides, i did another translation.

hard house, tech, trance and tribal set from drc in san fran, cal. pretty old tape too. side one is like hard tech house + trance kinda set, and side two is more like tribal hard house + tech house. rough but very lively mix by female deejay.
i went to see the doctor to check my pink finger this morning. doctor said, "it look fine. i guess it's done. just be careful not to bend too hard as it may bend over again." as you can see the picture below, it looks fine. i will take time to rehab my finger little by little. it took me five months to ge the finger in the shape like this but it's worth it.
to everyone, when you drink, just be careful not let your drunk go wild. it may cause you serious trouble.

there was a pair of sneakers i wanted, and i assumed they were already sold out in japan, so i was going to place an order at a store in australia; however, the price (includin shipping cost) was way too high..... so, i gave up. if i am still up for it, i will go to the store tomorrow to see if they have any left.
even though it's already october, there are mosquitoes out there and i get bites from them all the time. so, i sprayed insect repellent to myself as well as handy repellents on both of my wrists.
