世界一幸福な国ブータンの人・自然・暮らし　Exhibition on Bhutan

今日は、仙台で開催中のイベントにおじゃましてきました。

I visited the exhibition which held in Sendai now.

世界一幸福な国ブータンの人・自然・暮らし

主催：Bhutanese Community in Japan（在日ブータン人の会）

共催：ライフデザイン学部安全安心生活デザイン学科

期間：6月7日(金)～6月12日(水)

場所：東北工業大学一番町ロビー　１F

　　　　(一番町と南町通りの角のセブンイレブンの隣）

its people, nature and life

仙台在住の建築家高橋直子さんと、ご主人のプブ・テンジンさん（ブータン人）が中心になって開いていらっしゃる展示会です。

たくさんのブータンの写真・仏画・書籍・生活用具などが展示されていました。

豪華な刺繍のブーツが展示されていて、感激しました。

仏画は、弥勒菩薩、釈迦如来、薬師如来などがあり、日本のと比較するものおもしろいかもしれません。

パネルで展示されているブータンの写真は、代表的なお寺や政府などの建物や、山の様子や、街の様子などを網羅しています。さすが、ツボをおさえたセレクション！

Ms. Naoko Takahashi and her husband Mr. Phub Tenzin are holding this exhibition.

They are showing many photos, Tangkha(Buddhist paintings), books and Bhutanese items for daily life.

I was attracted with gorgeouse Bhutanese boots full with embroidery.

There are many nice tangkha of Maitreya, Buddha Sakyamuni, Bhaisajya-guru and others. It would be interesting to compare with Japanese Buddha.

And the photo panels of Bhutan are very interesting. You can find Bhutanese famous view, buildings, and so on.

高橋さんは、わたしがブータンに行く前に、青年海外協力隊員としてブータンで活動されていた方で、仙台で暮らしていらっしゃるということはうかがっており、お目にかかりたいと思っておりました。

何度か連絡をとらせていただいたことがあったにもかかわらず、なかなかタイミングがあわずにおりました。

今日、長年の思いがかない、お目に書かれました。

とってもきさくな方で、プブさんとも高橋さんとも、とても楽しく過ごさせていただきました。

気がつけば、二時間もおじゃましておりました。

ブログ掲載の許可をいただいて、撮らせていただきました。

この男性は、ふらっとはいっていらして、汗をかきながらブータンの食事を楽しまれ、マニアックなブータンの話におつきあいくださいました。楽しんでいただけたらうれしいです。でも、ゆがんだブータンを伝えてしまっていないか、ちょっと不安。。。

Ms. Naoko had worked in Bhutan as JOCV before I came to Bhutan. I knew about her and we wanted to see for long time. I don't know why, but we missed the chance to see. Finally we could see today!

They are very friendly and I enjoyed with them. I felt like I already know them for long time.

今日は日曜日ということもあり、ブータンの食事も用意されていました。

Today, they prepared Bhutanese meal for visitors.

ブータンの赤米

上：パクシャパ（お肉と大根の煮込み）

左：フィン（春雨の煮物）

左下：エマダツィ（唐辛子とチーズの煮物）

器は、ダパという、漆を塗ったものですが、これはとっても貴重な種類の木でつくられたもので、使わせていただいてよいのかしら？と、ちょっと緊張しました。

ご覧になっておわかりかもしれませんが、すべて、唐辛子が入っていて、辛いです。

それが、とってもおいしかったです～

ブータンで食べているみたい。

ブータンにいるときは、日本の食べ物が恋しくなります。

柔らかいお肉が食べたいとか、魚介類が恋しいとか、次々食べたいものを妄想していました。

でも、日本に帰ってくると、ブータンで普通にいつも食べていたものが恋しくなります。

今日いただいたものは、どれも本当になつかしい、ほっとする味でした。

今日は、お昼を食べた後にうかがったし、体験コーナーでほかの方たちも食べるものですし、こんな量ですが、ブータンにいた頃は、普通にこの5倍くらい食べていました

All these foods are very typical Bhutanese ones and so nice! It made me homesick.

I missed Japanese foods when I was in Bhutan, but now, I miss Bhutanese foods so much.

展示会は、12日(水)まで続きます。

高橋さんはいらっしゃいませんが、プブさんはずっと会場にいらっしゃるそうです。

ゴを着ていなかったら、日本語ぺらぺらですから、日本人かブータン人か、わからないかも。

とてもきさくで楽しい方で、ブータン入門にも、すでにブータンを知っている方にもおすすめです！

お近くの方は、ぜひいらしてくださいね。

The exhibition lasts till 12nd Wed. Mr. Phub stays all the time at the gallery. He speaks very fluent Japenese. I'm sure you will be able to enjoy with this exhibition and talking with Mr. Phub.

上海で食べたもの、B級編　Snacks in Shanghai

上海では、ひとりで行ったこともあり、こなしたい仕事がもろもろあったこともあり、なかなかゆっくり座って食事をしませんでした。

街のあちこちにある、小吃（ちょこっと食べるもの）屋さんが目に入り、好きなので、ついつい食べちゃう。

で、食事の時間にはあまりお腹がすいていなくて、レストランには入らない。

それで、またへんな時間にお腹がすいて小吃を食べちゃう。

あー。今晩も、フルーツでも食べて寝ようかな。という具合です。

I went to Shanghai alone this time. and I had long to do list. So I didn't eat at restaurants often. I enjoyed snacks instead.

You can find Chinese snack stands everywhere. I like this king of snacks. So I took it often. Then I didn't feel hungry at meal time. After sometime I felt like to have something. This is how I missed to go restaurants.

何回も食べたのに、一度も同じ種類に行き当らなかったのが、すごい。

どれだけ種類があるのでしょうね。

I had snacks many times but I didn't eat same one at all. There are so many kinds of snacks. I wonder how many are there.

なぜかミスドのエプロンをしていたこのおばちゃんの、チャパティっぽい薄餅で巻いてくれたのが、今回のベスト１でした。

屋台のテーブルに並んだ具を指さして

「どれにする？ぜんぶ？」

と言われたので、もちろん、ぜんぶ。

あ、やっぱり卵はいらない。香菜はいるいる。

と、まるでサブウェイ。

This lady's rall was the best this time.

She pointed the dishes and asked

"Which one do you want? All?"

Oh yes! All please! But I don't want egg. Please put this herb a lot.

Not only the snack but I enjoyed talking with her too.

薄餅の上に積み上げた具をおはしでぐるぐるまぜて、くるくるまいて、完成です。

She mixed all and raped, then "Here you are!"

野菜たっぷりで、しかもシャキシャキ歯ごたえがよくて、小吃ながら食事としてのバランスばっちりでした！

もう一回食べたかったけど、限られた滞在時間では、食べられるものの量も限りがあって、あきらめました。若いころは、いくらでも食べられたのにね。どうも、疲れてくると消化するのがつらくなります･･･。

It was full of vegetables and I enjoyed the crisp texture.

I wanted to have it once more., but I had remitted stay. I can't eat a lot like when I was young.

粋なお兄さん2人組。

丸いのはオーソドックスな煎餅。

四角い方は、ぷっくりたっぷりニラが入っています。

ニラが以外とさっぱりしていて、おいしかった！

Two guys were selling very popular ones here. I enjoyed the rectangular one with full of leek.

たまにはご飯もね。

豚のリブ揚げと、雪菜のチャーハン。

この、しょっぱくない高菜漬けのような雪菜が好物なんです。

I ate rice too. I like this fired rice with pickled leaves.

旅行中は、好きなものを好きなだけ食べてよし、と自分を甘やかしていたのですが、体重も増えていなかったし、楽しめたし、めでたしめでたしです。

Actually, I didn't limit how much I eat during tour, but I didn't gain and I enjoyed a lot. I was happy with what I had.

でも、ちゃんとしたものも、食べたんですよ。

Of course, I ate nice ones too. I write about it on another article.

ホテルの近くに･･･　Near the hotel in Shanghai...

今回のホテルと地下鉄の最寄り駅の間に、一日中「うわぁ～ん」と音が鳴り響いているところがありました。

When I was walking from my hotel to the subway station, there was a place full of mysterious sound and I was wondering what makes the sound.

素敵な竹のかごをのぞいてみたら、バッタでした！

鈴虫よりも、トノサマバッタよりも大きいみたい。色も、トノサマバッタみたいなかんじです。

このかご、何に使うわけじゃないんだけど、ちょっと欲しかったです。

They are a kind of grasshoppers. They are in well made bamboo baskets. I was attracted with not only the grasshoppers but these baskets, too.

こんなふうに、歩道に虫の音が響いていました。

気づいてみると、ここはペット関係のお店が並ぶ地区だったようです。

There are pet shops which selling insects, fish, turtles and so on.

金魚や、亀などや、そのエサとか飼育ケースなど。

なんでもありそうです。

歩道から横道をはいったほうにも、なにやら人が流れていきます。

のぞいてみたら、ペット市場でした。

It seems you can find everything about pets here. And more shops are inside the big market.

中国の、おじいちゃんたちの趣味といえば、鳥。

毎朝公園に集まって、誰の鳥が一番いい声で啼くか、比べっこ。

こだわりの、水やエサ入れも、美しくこった物があり、美しい鳥かごはびっくりするくらい高いものがあります。

でも、鳥インフルエンザの不安が残る今は、近寄っちゃだめだよね･･･。

いつもなら、間違いなくここはうろうろしたと思うのですが、今回はがまんです。

The old men's very popular hobby is keeping birds in China. They gather in parks to compare whose birds are singing best. The birdcages, water pots, food pots, and all the things for birds are very beautiful and some are very expensive.

However, I thought about the bird flu, I didin't enter the market this time.

こおろぎやさんもありました。

There was a shop selling crickets.

さっきのバッタは、１匹10元（約170円）でしたが、こおろぎは1匹20元（340円）。だけど、6匹買えば100元だそうです。

丸い焼き物に入れて飼うみたいです。

お店のお兄さんが、長い棒でちょいちょいっとこおろぎにさわっていました。

The grasshoppers in the bamboo baskets are 10 yuan each, but these are 20 yuan each.

The round containers are for crickets. The shop keeper was touching crickets with a stick.

何をしているのかきいてみたら、「遊んでるの」だそうです。

どこをめざして触っているのかわからなかったのですが、お兄さんが棒で触ると、啼き始めます。

不思議～！！

触ったら、びっくりして啼きやみそうに思うのに、魔法みたいです。

I asked him what is he doing , and he said he is just having fun with them.

I didn't find where he touches, but, when he touches, crickets start singing! I thought if I touch like him, crickets feel fear and stop singing. It was like a magic!
