Moderator : Um, which I find so heartbreaking and gorgeous. And I feel like it's also a very honest way to describe when you're both f**king up, you know, when it's like we're both in this destructive thing, in like kind of what you were talking about before the sort of, oh, I'm scared to try another love, because what about like, you know, this is probably as good as it gets, but is it, you know, that kind of feeling. Where were you when you wrote that song?

Sivan : Oh yeah, that one was like, I dreaded writing that one, because I was like, I know that I need to write this like for my own sanity, and um...yeah, I just like I knew that I had it in me still to, you know, to get off my chest kind of thing, and so, then I wrote it, and then I didn't record it for ages, because I was like, I don't that sounds like absolute hell, you know going in, and recording this vocal and stuff.

Sivan : But ultimately, I'm so happy that it exists, because I think, it just like really really perfectly captures that situation, and just like, yeah, you know, it's that moment where you're like, damn, things will never be the same as they were.

Sivan : Yeah. Half of my album sounds like it came from Instagram, but no, it was um...I put on my story. I was like, "Can you guys send me voice notes of you saying, 'Last night was f**king crazy' in like whatever language you speak or whatever accent you have, I want all of it kind of thing." And I got so many, and I was like screen recording them. And one of them actually is the 'Troye Baby' thing that now is like my tag, I'm like using it in every song basically that I ever do.

Sivan : And yeah, it was just like, it was just people, and I loved because again, thematically, I was so obsessed with feeling like the connection of this, the planet, you know, and I felt so connected to like everyone, and I was traveling so much, and I was like in Barcelona, and you know, doing all of these things and writing the album in like Stockholm, and I don't know.

Sivan : And so, I wanted everyone to know that this album was for them, you know what I mean like it's truly, it's for the collective everyone. And so, I wanted to kind of like bring that in, and like global pop was a thing that I talked about quite a bit.

Moderator : You feel that in the whole album. It feels like you've, had this experience gone around the world, and just like met new people and partied and had good times and just like and also heartbreak like going through it all across the world.

Sivan : Yeah. I think that was what was also so special about touring, it is like, you know, playing when it came time to tour the album. I was like, well, I want to start outside like we have to do it in summer, and it has to be outside shows, and our second show was Primavera in Barcelona, and it was like an absolute dream come true, like exactly the way that I wanted people to hear this album.
シヴァン：うん。ツアーですごく特別だったのは、アルバムのツアーが決まった時にね。「夏に、野外でやりたい。野外ショーでなきゃ」って思ったんだ。2回目のショーは、バルセロナのプリマヴェーラだったんだけど、まさに、夢が叶ったような感じだった。僕がこのアルバムの曲を聴いてほしいと、思っていた通りの感じでね。
Sivan : It's just like, this massive massive massive um...lawn, the weather was beautiful, it's like right on beach, it's loud, there's screens, I've got the dancers doing the choreography. It was like the full experience. It was, yeah, it was exactly what I wanted. (Read more in part8)

Troye Sivan has announced details of a huge UK and European tour for 2024.
The tour is in support of Sivan’s acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’, which was released back in October. The record ? Sivan’s first in five years ? scored the Australian a glowing five-star review from Nick Levine for NME. Levine wrote: “It’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”
Hailed by The Guardian as "one of this year's best and most distinctive pop albums" and celebrated by Rolling Stone as "a pristine slice of pop heaven," the Something to Give Each Other Tour is destined to be Sivan 's biggest, boldest and brightest tour.
Sivan’s 17-date run will begin in Portugal on May 29, 2024, before continuing throughout Europe. Sivan arrives in the UK on June 22 at the Manchester AO Arena; the tour will conclude in Birmingham.Tickets for the shows go on sale on December 8 at 9am.

※Around age 18, secure in his identity, Sivan set the stage for his life to come with two videos: In May 2013, he posted an original song, inspired by the young adult best-seller The Fault in Our Stars, and in August, he came out to his followers. Both videos went viral. And then, so did he. Time magazine named him one of the 25 most influential teens of 2014. He walked in Hedi Slimane’s fall 2015 Saint Laurent menswear show. By 2016, he had over 4 million YouTube subscribers and was reportedly making upwards of six figures in sponsorships. “At that point,” he says, “I was just along for the ride.”
