Sivan : I don't remember who sent that, so I don't remember it's good, but...

Sage : But I thought it was kind of, first of all, each cookie was then wrapped in, oh, like something.

Sage : Come from America. They were stale, which meant they were kind of inedible, which had unfortunately we had to like, yeah, throw them out.

Sivan : No, and I'm so down for gifts, and I'm so down for I love being thought of in that way. You know what I mean? By these people and everything like that, I just do think that there's a way to sustainable about. It is a is an important thing. And then, yeah, I feel like it's a goal of mine to figure out a good system for dealing with the stuff. You know what I mean? Like just sorting and organizing and whatever, so that, yeah, for a sustainability reasons. Because otherwise, you just end up with 100% garage being full of like stuff that you don't really know what to do with and whatever. So I'm never going to be on any PR lists again.

Sivan : I re-gift a lot of stuff. It's just like, you know if it's stuff that that I just know that I'm not gonna use or need, I always say thank you, and then, we'll give it to friends or whatever. If it's something that's just like not for me.

Sage : That's a good one, in 'the industry'. I'm curious to know when you go to events or even if you're just having conversations with friends. Do you find that sustainability conscious conversations that they're at the center of a lot of the discussions or you're having?

Sivan : Yeah. I don't know. I mean definitely I noticed a massive Improvement on film sets and tours. People are really conscious about it on film sets. Yeah, like we had, we were shooting the TV show for a year. There was no plastic bottles on set as much as possible.

Sivan : Yeah, super going for and a lot of that comes down to, everyone bringing their own water bottle every day. Or you know, it's like the cartons of water instead of. Yeah, we actually had the cans of water. It was weird but yeah. So there I noticed it, and then, now I know a lot of it's been a while since I do it, but there's a lot of like third-party touring companies that help make touring more sustainable. Because touring is like, wow, you've got buses and trucks and flights and whatever, and it's really really really heavy.

Sivan : So, I know a lot of bands, and tours are making big steps in that direction. Socially, I don't feel like it's that much at the Forefront of mind. At least I don't know it doesn't come up a ton in conversation. Yeah. But I do know that, like a lot of events that you know like public events, that I would go to you notice little things like, at the Met Gala this year. The menu was plant-based and stuff like that. So yeah, I do think that it's um there's probably a lot happening behind the scenes that is moving in the right direction.

Troye Sivan has announced details of a huge UK and European tour for 2024.
The tour is in support of Sivan’s acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’, which was released back in October. The record ? Sivan’s first in five years ? scored the Australian a glowing five-star review from Nick Levine for NME. Levine wrote: “It’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”
Hailed by The Guardian as "one of this year's best and most distinctive pop albums" and celebrated by Rolling Stone as "a pristine slice of pop heaven," the Something to Give Each Other Tour is destined to be Sivan 's biggest, boldest and brightest tour.
Sivan’s 17-date run will begin in Portugal on May 29, 2024, before continuing throughout Europe. Sivan arrives in the UK on June 22 at the Manchester AO Arena; the tour will conclude in Birmingham.Tickets for the shows go on sale on December 8 at 9am.

Sivan’s eight-minute, 17-second coming-out video is a rare thing, equal parts star power and vulnerable humanity. He had promised himself he would come out before signing a record deal, knowing it was the only way he could write music that would be completely honest. When pressed, he now says he briefly wondered if it might have lost him some young, infatuated female fans, but he “had no other choice.
