Sivan : So, I think him understanding, he's always like worked choreography and movement, and his work always feels so fluid, and, that was something that I really really responded to, so yeah, it was nice.

Moderator : No, so amazing. 【Applause!】You're a full-on dancer now. How does it feel to be like a proper dancer?

Sivan : I don't know. You know, what's crazy about dancing for me is, it holds a lot of tension for me, like when I was a kid, I had like all of this internalized homophobia, and so I used to be like boys who dance are gay, like blah blah blah blah blah. And so, I didn't want anything to do with it, even though I secretly wanted everything to do with it. And so, for me, like I avoided it, you know, like the play. And then from that, there was this like kind of narrative, I guess, that like, "Oh, Troye can sing, but he can't dance, you know, he's like..." whatever. And so, I've always held this like thing where, it was just a very, kind of touchy thing for me.

Sivan : And so then, though when it came to the album, when the album was done, I just like, something about this album, wanting this album like kind of, like theoretically. I was thinking about pop music, and the power of pop music bringing people together, and how it can do that. And considering the themes in the album, I was like, no, you know, pop, the idea of crowds of people, it doesn't matter what language they speak, them all kind of like singing along and big crowds, and again, with the choreography thing, I was like I was thinking about big groups of people, and I was thinking so much about pop.

Sivan : And so, when I think about pop, I think of these like great music videos with choreography. And I knew that I wanted to do it. And I was so scared. But I just felt like I owed it to, like my baby self, to be like, "Go, make the video in Bangkok and dance on the roof, do the choreography on the roof with like 20 dancers", you know, I, if you can. And but the cool thing was that after 'Rush' had come out, and the video kind of really really really like, set the campaign off
in a way that like we hadn't really experienced before, the label was like, "Yep, go, go, go, do it." So...

Sivan : Exactly. So, it was much easier to make, I think, the second and third videos. But yeah, so I mean, I started basically like the first time I'd ever ever ever done choreography was when I walked into the 'Rush' rehearsals in Berlin with Sergio Reis, our, like incredible choreographer. I was so nervous, and I was like trying to make it, I was trying to make them comfortable with how s**t I was about to be. So, I was like, "Guys, it is okay to laugh, like please just like do it, like get it out of the way now kind of thing."
シヴァン：そうなんだ。2本目と3本目のビデオは、ずっと作りやすかったと思う。僕が初めて振り付けをやったのは、素晴らしい振付師のセルジオ・レイスと一緒に「Rush」のリハーサルに参加した時だった。すごく緊張して、なんとかうまくやろうとしていたんだ。これから僕がどんなにひどいことになるか、みんなに安心してもらおうとしていた。「みんな、笑っていいから、とにかく笑って、気にしないでね。」
Sivan : And I don't know how they held it together actually, because I watched back the videos and I was so bad, I was so bad. But somehow, you know, within like 2 days, I started to relax, and through their guidance, really you know, it's like the same way that I feel like, Swedish songwriters have like, raised me as a songwriter, and shown so much like, patience and compassion and care and everything like that. Having Sergio Reis and Mauro van de Kerkhof like raise me as a dancer now, has been their approach is so, just lovely, you know, and I felt really comfortable. And so then, you know, once we did 'Rush', I was like, "Okay, I kind of want to go a little further." And with 'Got Me Started', it was like the choreography was so much more, meaty.

Sivan : And then, you know we did choreography for 'One of Your Girls'. And then, tour was like a super stress for me, because I was like, I have to do it in front of people now, and like you can't, cut if it get, you know, if you mess up or whatever, And I have to sing at the same time and like all that. So, but I love it, like I really really really love it.

Sivan : Thanks. It's now, I mean I like kind of crave it. You know, how people get like annoying about if they start running or something they're like yeah, I crave it. But like honestly, me with dancing, I do.

Moderator : Do you feel this is pivoting a little from music? But do you feel like you have a better relationship with your body since you started dancing? Because I feel like, when I started working with the choreographer too, like I don't really do choreography on stage properly, but, I feel like just working with someone like, showing me how to express my, express my feelings with my body or like be, you know, I feel this like new love for my body.

Sivan : Completely. And first of all, you can really dance. I know.

Moderator : No, I can dance. I just don't do another choreography, but I can dance now too.

Sivan : No, but yeah, definitely. And I think also just like an appreciation for, like my body being able to do what I want it to do, you know, like I don't know or just like, as I've been doing it more and more and more, it used to be that thing of like, why, like now I can kind of see someone do something and be like, "Oh, I know how that would feel to do that." You know what I mean? So just like you start to pick things up a little bit quicker. It's like a super rewarding process, but that sweat when you're when you're dancing, it's like, that is like crack. It's so good.
シヴァン：確かにね。自分の体が自分の思い通りに動いてくれることへの、感謝の気持ちがあるんだ。自分でもよく分からないけど、踊る回数が増えるにつれて、以前は「なぜ？」って感じだったのが、今では誰かがやってるのを見て「ああ、僕もこんな風に踊ったらどんな感じだろう」って、すぐに感じとれるようになった。物事を少しだけ早く理解できるようになるような、すごくやりがいのあるプロセスなのさ。踊っている時にかく汗って、まるで麻薬みたいでね。すごく気持ちいいんだ。
Moderator : No, it is. I agree. I agree. And it also makes you feel like, I don't know the just performance-wise, confidence-wise, like just even walking and like what do I do with my hands, like that feeling just goes away, when you've done some dancing.

Sivan : For sure. And I learned little things like if you ever want to walk really really slowly on stage, and look hot and like dramatic, like turning your feet outwards for balance, you know like little things that then I would catch myself, you know by the 10th show, it's not even a slow walk, but I'm like my feet are fully out, and I'm like cool, like you know, I think you just you learn, and it's been a joy, it's also so nice to find things that like new hobbies, you know to find something as a 28-year-old that I love so so so much, has been really lovely.
シヴァン：その通りさ。ステージですごくゆっくり歩きたい時とか、セクシーでドラマチックに見せたい時に、バランスを取るために足を外側に回すとか、そういう小さなことを学んだんだ。そういう小さなことを意識して、10回目のショーまでには、ゆっくり歩くどころか、足が完全に外側に出て、クールに見えるコツを覚えた。つまり、学ぶしかないんだと思うけどね。本当に楽しかったし、新しい趣味を見つけたようなものさ。28歳にして、自分が本当に大好きなものを見つけられたんだ。本当に素敵なことにね。
Moderator : And it's like another place, outside of the stage where you can't think of anything else, like when you're rehearsing and when you're in the rehearsal space, like your only focus is on the movements and the music and, yeah.

Troye Sivan has announced details of a huge UK and European tour for 2024.
The tour is in support of Sivan’s acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’, which was released back in October. The record ? Sivan’s first in five years ? scored the Australian a glowing five-star review from Nick Levine for NME. Levine wrote: “It’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”
Hailed by The Guardian as "one of this year's best and most distinctive pop albums" and celebrated by Rolling Stone as "a pristine slice of pop heaven," the Something to Give Each Other Tour is destined to be Sivan 's biggest, boldest and brightest tour.
Sivan’s 17-date run will begin in Portugal on May 29, 2024, before continuing throughout Europe. Sivan arrives in the UK on June 22 at the Manchester AO Arena; the tour will conclude in Birmingham.Tickets for the shows go on sale on December 8 at 9am.

〇「Bloom」（アルバムのタイトルトラックです）
※He also has a song called "Bloom", on which he takes the role of what sounds like the receptive partner losing his virginity. "It's true, babe...I've been saving this for you...Promise me you'll hold my hand if I get scared now...Might tell you to take a second baby slow it down...You should know I bloom, I bloom just for you."

※In other words, "Bloom" is a gay anthem for bottoms, and when I ask Sivan if that's what the song is about, he plays coy but pretty much gives away the answer.

※Around age 18, secure in his identity, Sivan set the stage for his life to come with two videos: In May 2013, he posted an original song, inspired by the young adult best-seller The Fault in Our Stars, and in August, he came out to his followers. Both videos went viral. And then, so did he. Time magazine named him one of the 25 most influential teens of 2014. He walked in Hedi Slimane’s fall 2015 Saint Laurent menswear show. By 2016, he had over 4 million YouTube subscribers and was reportedly making upwards of six figures in sponsorships. “At that point,” he says, “I was just along for the ride.”

Sivan’s eight-minute, 17-second coming-out video is a rare thing, equal parts star power and vulnerable humanity. He had promised himself he would come out before signing a record deal, knowing it was the only way he could write music that would be completely honest. When pressed, he now says he briefly wondered if it might have lost him some young, infatuated female fans, but he “had no other choice. It was a moment where I was like, ‘I have to put myself first.’”（@「Billboard」誌）
