I want to talk to you more about your new music video 'Rush' obviously, um, I watched it, I saw the clip on Tick Tock first of the dancing and the choreography, and I saw something on Twitter that was like that it's Slavic?

Sivan : So, the video, um, I made with Gordon von Steiner. Have you shot with him?

Sivan : He's like a fashion director I never made a music video before. And we have just been friends forever, and he's creative directing the whole album, and so, it's really fun I've never had a creative director before. And we were talking about 'Rush' and what it is, and I knew that like, the thing that kind of stuck out to me, was my friend, my best friend Leland, who I wrote the song with. He was like, we were talking about what should be the first single, and he was like, go make a f**king hot video, and he's like, this is you coming out with your dick swinging.
シヴァン：ゴードンは、ファッションディレクターみたいな人で、ミュージックビデオを作ったことはなかったんだ。ぼくたちはずっと友だちで、今までぼくは、クリエイティブ・ディレクターがいなかったんだけど、今回のアルバムでは、ゴードンが全体のクリエイティブ・ディレクションをしてくれていて、本当に楽しかったよ。ぼくたちは、「Rush」について話していたんだけど、ぼくの心に残ったのは、一緒に曲を書いた、親友のリーランドなんだ。ファースト・シングルをどうすべきかについて話していて、リーランドは、こう言ったんだ。「きみが、XXXを振りながらやってくるような、クソいかれたビデオにしようぜ。」
EmRata : Yeah.

Sivan : And I was like, okay, let's just like, let's just make the thing that I would have like dreamed to make without like censoring myself in any sort of way. So you know, in talking about it with Gordon, it was just like, this just feels like the ultimate, you know, party I was thinking a lot about like in Australia. We have these like Bush duffs which is like a in the bush, you know, and it's just like, these like sometimes it's under a bridge or whatever or sometimes it's like a forest and partying in Australia had been so inspiring to me, and then, we just wanted to kind of throw this ultimate sort of the ultimate party, and we went to Berlin to do it, because Gordon was like, okay well if we're gonna party we should go party in the middle. So it was me, Stuart Winecoff, and Gordon, and we went, and we're all just like mates, and we were in Berlin for like a week, and filmed the video, and it was so nice. You know, it was a really I knew that it just had to be real, like I knew that it was going to look gorgeous because it was Gordon and Stewart, but it was really important to me that it had to just be completely genuine.

EmRata : Yeah.

Sivan : And so, we really were just like partying and filming it like a lot of the setups, that you see, some of them are obviously set up, but a lot of them were just like kind of put us all in a little bathroom and let us party, and like for example, the make out at the end was kind of like spontaneous and,

Troye Sivan has announced details of a huge UK and European tour for 2024.
The tour is in support of Sivan’s acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’, which was released back in October. The record – Sivan’s first in five years – scored the Australian a glowing five-star review from Nick Levine for NME. Levine wrote: “It’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”
Hailed by The Guardian as "one of this year's best and most distinctive pop albums" and celebrated by Rolling Stone as "a pristine slice of pop heaven," the Something to Give Each Other Tour is destined to be Sivan 's biggest, boldest and brightest tour.
Sivan’s 17-date run will begin in Portugal on May 29, 2024, before continuing throughout Europe. Sivan arrives in the UK on June 22 at the Manchester AO Arena; the tour will conclude in Birmingham.Tickets for the shows go on sale on December 8 at 9am.

Sivan’s eight-minute, 17-second coming-out video is a rare thing, equal parts star power and vulnerable humanity.
