今日は雨

つ、ついに昨日から学校が始まってしまった・・・。学生生活の開始です。

正直、朝6時過ぎに起床するのが厳しい。

ただ会社勤めの人たちが行動し始める時間にチューリッヒのど真ん中を歩いていると会社員だった頃のせわしなさを覚えるのでそれも新鮮というか、なつかしいので今はまだ楽しんでいる感じかなあ。

今日は数字とアルファベットを学びました。笑。

宿題が結構出たので頑張ってやらないと。

私の生活は多分、学校が終了→スーパーで夕飯のお買い物→帰宅して家事、そして勉強、ってな感じに習慣化するのではないだろうか。もちろんそれが全てではないけどね。

しかし毎日毎日夕飯の献立を考える主婦はすごいね、冷蔵庫にあるもので作ってしまうその能力はすごいと思う。そしていかに食べてもらう人を飽きさせないか。献立のウェブサイトが腐るほどあるのもよくわかります。主婦の悩みは万国共通やね。

ちなみに今晩の献立はトムのママとパパが自宅で栽培しているpatisson （もしくはsummer squash と英語で言うらしい）をおすそ分けして頂いたのでそれをオーブン焼きにします。外見はかなりイビツな代物なので、中身がどんな具合なのかすごく興味あり。

Street Parade ‘08

I’m sure the talk of the town on Monday was the Street Parade that happened during the weekend. It’s supposed to be the second largest after the Berlin Love Parade, so it was definitely something to be checked out.

Saturday noon – I already heard the heavy bass coming from the central area from our garden, so we were off. Parking our car close as we can get to, in Seefeld, we headed towards Bellevue.

Was it Mr. Tamnus or Oscar Pistorius, people were definitely enjoying the street renegade of Zurich.

You can get a sense of how big this parade was, from some of the pictures I’ve taken. I got on the ferris wheels and taken a look of the city of Zurich and it was like this already at 3PM. Late afternoon me and my friends were off to the lakeside to catch a movie and we saw people drunk, sleeping, chilling, some of them getting high, and the street was a mess with all sorts of smell you can smell of (yuck!).

Was curious enough to check on the details of this parade after this event and found that this has been going on since 1992.

Hey, and check this out – the official website says “The Street Parade is a demonstration of love, peace, freedom and tolerance. Thousands of different people of all types dance to electronic music and love being with each other in peace and harmony. Let us enjoy this unique day in a spirit of friendship!”.

Who would have known.

スイスの結婚式 – Part 1

友人のTWとPJの結婚式に参加できる大変光栄な機会を頂きました。2008年8月8日のまさしくハレの日（しかも晴れ！）にずっとずっと一緒だった二人が結婚しました。が、しかしこれは序章に過ぎないのであって、本番は今週の土曜日に控えております。

どうやらスイスの結婚式は2部に分かれるようで、一つはゲマインデで署名する式と、もう一つは教会での式とパーティーみたい。この最初の一つが実際に昨日行われたものでした。日本で言うところの婚姻届を区役所に提出する、みたいなものでした。

下に見える場所がTWとPJ、及び私とトムが住んでいるところのゲマインデです。みんなが集まって中に入ろうとしている光景。

窓口での「手続き」だと思ってましたが甘かった・・・。小部屋にて二人の結婚を証明する証人二人が花嫁と花婿の横に座り、家族が後ろに並ぶ中、式次第は「病める時も健やかなる時も・・・」らしきことを謳うものが行われて結果20分くらいはかかりました。全てドイツ語だったのが残念だった・・・。

そこから着物を着る二人の写真撮影のために湖沿いにある中国庭園へ足をのばして行きました。

式が終わりホッと一息ついた皆は完全にめでたいムードに包まれてこんなショットも出て、

会食もこのように湖を見下ろす丘の上のレストランでこじんまりと運び、

幸せな雰囲気に包まれた、とてもいい一日だったと思います。
