『インド デリー空港にて』

いまから日本に帰ります。

海外に出るといつも感じることがあります。

他の国にはまったく違う文化、生活習慣、宗教観をもつ人々がいて、日本人の常識では考えられない場面に遭遇することが多々ありますが、私はもともとコンフォートゾーンにとどまることが嫌いなタチなので、それがおもしろくもあり、刺激にもなるので常に楽しんでいます。

それと同時に、あまりにも当たり前過ぎて普段は感じることがない日本人の精神性の高さをを認識する機会を得ることも。

他人を敬い、思いやりの心を持ち、にっこり笑って「お先にどうぞ」の精神は他国ではなかなか見ることができません。

今年は日本の伝統文化や職人技が光る素晴らしい品を海外に紹介してきました。

来年も引き続き自身の役割を果たしていこうと思います。

今回の旅を記念して、インドの伝統工芸品、驚くほど細かい手作りの銀線細工を購入しました

I'm leaving India and going back to Japan now.

Whenever I go abroad, I always feel something.

In other countries, there are people with completely different cultures, lifestyles and religious views, and I often encounter situations that are unthinkable according to Japanese common sense. But since I dont like staying in my comfort zone, I enjoy it because it's interesting and stimulating a lot.

At the same time, it's an opportunity for me to recognize the high level of Japanese spirituality which I usually do not feel as it's so commonplace. The spirit of respecting each other, having consideration for others and saying "After you" with smiling is something that is hard to find in other countries.

This year I have introduced Japanese traditional culture and wonderful products made by craftsmen to overseas. I will continue to do my best next year.

To commemorate the trip, I bought a traditional Indian craft, amazingly detailed handmade silver wirework

『成田空港にて』

今年の年末はコロナ以降行けなかったハワイで久々にゆっくり休養しようと思っていたのですが、5日前に急遽インド行きを決めました

2月にドバイに行ったときも決めたのは出発4日前。

いつも自分の直感に従うことにしています。

知らない文化を体験するのは本当に楽しみ。

今からワクワク

人生は短い。

やりたいことはすぐにやろう

I had planned to rest in Hawaii at the end of this year as I haven't been able to go since the pandemic.

But I suddenly decided to go to India 5 days ago. When I went to Dubai in February, I also decided 4 days before my departure

I always follow my intuition.

I'm really excited and looking forward to experiencing an unfamiliar culture.

Life is short.

Let's do what we want to do right away!

『白金台プラチナ通りにて』

師走に入りました。

午前中、近所を散歩。

ようやくプラチナ通りの銀杏が色付いてきました。

今年も残すところ1ヶ月を切りましたが年内にやること山積み 

来年に向けてリフレッシュするために、東京を脱出してハワイに行こうと画策しましたが、スケジュール的に難しくて断念

なんとか沖縄の海辺でゆっくりできるよう、日曜日の今日も仕事しています

December.

I took a walk around the neighborhood this morning. The gingko trees on Platinum Avenue are finally changing colors.

I have many things to do before the end of the year. But I need to refresh myself for 2024. So I've planned to escape from Tokyo and go to Hawaii, however I found that my schedule made it difficult and I had to give up the idea

I'm working on Sunday so that I may relax by the beach in Okinawa

『白金台にて』

日本の真心を世界に！プロジェクト

着物リメイクドレス第三弾。

着なくなった着物をほどいて、洗って、ドレスに仕立てます。

今回は巻きスカートとワンピース。

巻きスカートは細い方から大きな方までどのサイズでもOK。

以前制作したワンピースに合わせたバッグも出来上がりました。

今週、欧米から大事なお客様をお迎えします。

会食の際に素晴らしい西陣織をお見せする予定です。

The Kimono Dress Part 3.

We make the kimonos that the owners no longer ware into new dresses. We unite, wash and remake them.

Wrap skirts and dresses.

Wrap skirts can be worn by all sizes, from thin to large. The bag is also ready. It matches the dress made before.

This week, important guests will be coming from the U.S. and Europe. I will show them the wonderful Nishijin textiles at a dinner.

『白金台にて』

日本の真心を世界に！プロジェクト

着物リメイクドレスの第二弾。

着なくなった着物をほどいて、洗って、ドレスに仕立てます。

今回はパーティドレス。

またまた帰宅後夜中2時に1人撮影

いま黒留袖から巻きスカート数枚を制作中。

前回のワンピースに合わせたバッグももうすぐ出来上がります。

最後の一枚は弊社のプロデューサー小川。

彼が着ているものは、のぼり旗（サムライ時代の合戦や漁業で使われた他、地方によっては男の子が生まれるとこれを作って家の前に飾る風習があったそうで）から作りました。

着物ドレスを着てご満悦です

The Kimono Dress Part 2.

We make the kimonos that the owners no longer ware into new dresses. We untie, wash and remake them.

Party dresses this time.

Again, I was taking pictures by myself at 2 am after coming home

Now working on several skirts remade from black kimonos and a small bag to match the dress I wore last time.

The last picture is our producer, Ogawa.

The one he is wearing was made from a banner (used in battles in the samurai era, fishing boats and in some regions, when a boy was born, it was customary to make one and display it in front of the house).

He looks very happy in Kimono Dress

番組の宣伝です！

イギリス・BBC制作の裁縫バトル・リアリティショー「ソーイング・ビー」

この5日（木）スタートです。

NHK Eテレで毎週木曜午後10時放送。

"Sewing Bee” is a sewing battle reality TV show produced by BBC in the UK. Series 6 will finally start on the 5th.

Our production team has been working on the Japanese version with a new motivation since this summer.

It airs on NHK E every Thursday at 10 pm.

日本の真心を世界に！プロジェクトの一環で、着なくなった着物をリメイクしてドレスを制作しています。

サンプル第1号が出来上がりました。

自宅に戻って夜中に試着&撮影

日本の素晴らしい文化を次世代に残すために奮闘中。

来月は再びヨーロッパへ

I recycle old kimonos to make dresses.

The first sample is ready. I took pictures at the midnight after I returned home

I've been trying to preserve the wonderful Japanese culture for the next generation.

Next month, I will go to Europe again

『白金台にて』

三連休の初日。

久々に少しゆっくりしています。

今週は週明けから、東京駅、六本木、虎ノ門、品川で打ち合わせ。

火曜日から京都、大阪へ。

大阪で一泊して翌日は朝からまた京都、そして午後から名古屋へ。

名古屋から東京に戻ってきて、夜はフランスから来日している友人と食事をしましたが、仕事とプライベートをきっちり分けている彼の生き方が羨ましくもあり。

でも今はやることがたくさんあるので、しばらくはこの生活が続きそう

つい最近2023年が始まったと思ったらもう9月

人生はあっという間。

やりたいことはどんどんやろう

First day of a three-day weekend.

It has been a while since I had a day to relax.

This week, I had several meetings at Tokyo Station, Roppongi, Toranomon and Shinagawa on Monday.

I went to Kyoto and Osaka from Tuesday.

After an overnight stay in Osaka, the next day I went to Kyoto again in the morning and then in Nagoya in the afternoon.

After returning to Tokyo from Nagoya, I had dinner with a friend who is visiting Japan from France.

I envy his way of life, which is to keep work and private life strictly separate.

But I have a lot of things to do right now, so I think this life will continue for a while

I'm feeling the year 2023 began just recently.

It's already September. Life is shortI. Let's keep doing what we want to do and moving forward

『金沢にて』

4年ぶりの金沢。

午前中は21世紀美術館とひがし茶屋街へ。

午後から加賀友禅の職人さんを訪ねて、この美しい日本の伝統工芸についてお話を伺いました。　

まだまだ知らないことがいっぱい。

いくつになっても新しいことを学ぶのは楽しい

I came to Kanazawa.

The last time I visited here was four years ago.

First, I went to the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and Higashi Chaya district.

In the afternoon, I visited a Kaga Yuzen artisan and learned a lot about this beautiful Japanese traditional craft.

There are so many things I didn't know. It is fun to learn new things no matter how old I am

久々に番組宣伝です。

「半導体ウォーズ 台湾と国際秩序のゆくえ 　THE CHIP WAR （FRANCE 2023）」

最先端半導体は今やアメリカと中国のパワーバランスにも大きな影響を及ぼしています。

今なお記憶に新しいコロナ禍で起きた半導体不足。

この状況は世界経済が台湾の半導体企業に依存している実態を明らかにしました。

世界各地の製造現場を取材したフランス制作のドキュメンタリーです。

「半導体は石油以上の戦略的資源だった」

クリス・ミラー氏の「半導体戦争（CHIP WAR)」をちょうど読み始めたところですが、この本、かなり評判が良く売れているのですね。

フランス人の友人が半導体業界に長く、この番組にも出てくるオランダの半導体企業ASMLに以前勤務していたので、彼がフランスから戻ってきたら色々教えてもらおうと思っています。

番組は6月19日（月）午後11時20分から、NHK BS1にて放送です。

The shortage of semiconductors caused by the pandemic has led to production stops in IT companies, the automobile and other industries. Semiconductors are absolutely indispensable for the manufacture of electronic products. Taiwan, which occupies the top share of the world market in their supply, considers its cutting-edge semiconductor technology to be a shield to protect it from unification by China. Today, semiconductors have become strategic materials that also affects the balance of power between the U.S. and China. A French production company interviewed manufacturing sites in Taiwan, the U.S., China and Europe.

"Semiconductors are a more strategic resource than oil."

I just started reading "CHIP WAR" by Chris Miller.

My French friend has been working in the semiconductor industry for a long time and used to work for ASML, a Dutch semiconductor company that is also mentioned in this program, so I will learn a lot from him when he gets back from France.

The program will be broadcast on NHK BS1 on Monday the 19th from 11:20pm.
