青山校＆横浜校スタッフS田です

いやぁ、この前台風すごかったですね!!!

台風直撃の前日、U田さんがレインコートを着て

自転車で帰る姿を見ました

台風をもってしてもU田さんは動じないようです

さて、最近、

「スタッフの方ってお昼どこで食べてるんですか？」

って質問をされるのですが

そうですねぇ、、

横浜校にいる時は、ヨドバシの地下とか、近隣カフェとかですかねぇ。

横浜駅周辺は食べるところがたくさんあって便利です

横浜は結構詳しいので、ご飯食べるところやデートの場所の相談など

お気軽にご相談くださいね

で、

青山校なのですが、未だにまだ模索中です。

意外と食べるところなくないですか？

みんなどこで食べているのだろうと、

青山校で勤務しているパソコンのスタッフに聞くと、

私お弁当なのーぅ

と家庭的な女性スタッフがあっちにもこっちにも

最初はほんの数名だと思ったのですが、

結構お弁当女子率高し

あれですか？

自動車のスペックの話ができるより、

お弁当を作ってくる女子の方がモテますか

そうですか

じゃぁ………

S田もお昼はお弁当にしようかな

何事も形からですね。

まずはお弁当箱を買わないとです。

え？

料理ですか？

Can'tじゃなくて

Don'tですよ

まぁ、何とかなりますって
週末とか、お昼時にレッスンに来られる生徒さんは

つまみ食いできるチャンスがあるかもです

ただしお腹壊しても責任とれませんが(笑)

さてさて、

The calm before and after the storm

Hello all, this is Todd here!

This morning in Tokyo, there were many train delays because of the typhoon. Were you stuck at the station?

However in the afternoon, it turned out to be a beautiful day! The sun was out and blue skies!

Isn't it amazing how weather patterns can change so quickly from a dreadful typhoon to a peaceful sunny day? And also vice versa.

Today, I want to discuss the idiom "The calm before the storm."

There are many times just like the weather where there is a quiet period just before a period of great activity or excitement. I'm sure you must have experienced this before.

For example, back in elementary school, right before the 3:30 class bell rings, all the students are so quiet, impatiently looking at the clock. Once the bell rings, it becomes madness and all the students are jumping out of their chairs and screaming out of class.

Or how about the times when there is a new bargain sale! All the shoppers are impatiently waiting by the doors. Once the doors are open, everyone pushes and barges their ways in to grab that limited time only Sale!

The Verb: A Beauty 'n Action

Hello students,

On this last day of September, I was thinking about a beautiful thing in grammar which I've come to admire very much: the verb.

Verbs are so powerful and can be used in so many different ways that it's my recommendation to master verbs (meanings and uses) before any other words or rules.
