ああ、なんと美しい曲なのでしょう...
「What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life?」。
邦題は『これからの人生』。

女性の視点か、男性の視点で訳すか悩んだのですが、
求愛を綴った言葉に今回は主人公を男性にしました。あしからず。

1969（昭和44）年公開の米映画「The Happy Ending」の劇中で歌われたこの曲は
その後多くのアーティストにカヴァーされ続けています。

作詞は Alan Bergman ＆ Marilyn Bergman、
作曲は Michel Legrand によってこの曲は誕生しましたが、この三人は他、
名曲「The Windmills of Your Mind」（邦題『風のささやき』）も手がけています。
