昨日今日と私の耳に違う賛美歌が二曲聞こえてきています。
I'm hearing two different hymns in my ears yesterday and today.
そして、私もそのメロディーに合わせて共に賛美しています。
And I am also praising along with the melody.
しかし、その一つ目の曲（「グローリーハレルヤ」）にはメッセージが込められているようで、心に示されたフレーズが、「彼(神）の真実はアメリカと世界に向かって行進している」です。
But that first song ("Battle Hymn of the Republic") seems to have a message in it, and the phrase shown to the mind is "His (God's) truth is marching towards America and the world".
そして二つ目の曲は、「主の御手に頼る日は」です。
And the second song is "Leaning on the Everylasting Arms".
ネヘミヤ記１章
１）ハカルヤの子ネヘミヤのことば。第二十年のキスレウの月に、私がシュシャンの城にいたとき、
２）私の親類のひとりハナニが、ユダから来た数人の者といっしょにやって来た。そこで私は、捕囚から残ってのがれたユダヤ人とエルサレムのことについて、彼等に尋ねた。
３）すると、彼らは私に答えた。「あの州の捕囚からのがれて生き残った残りの者たちは、非常な困難の中にあり、またそしりを受けています。そのうえ、エルサレムの城壁はくずされ、その門は火で焼き払われたままです。」
４）私はこのことばを聞いたとき、すわって泣き、数日の間、喪に服し、断食して天の神の前に祈って、
５）言った。「ああ、天の神、主。大いなる、恐るべき神。主を愛し、主の命令を守る者に対しては、契約を守り、いつくしみを賜わる方。
６）どうぞ、あなたの耳を傾け、あなたの目を開いて、このしもべの祈りを聞いてください。私は今、あなたのしもべイスラエル人のために、昼も夜も御前に祈り、私たちがあなたに対して犯した、イスラエル人の罪を告白しています。まことに、私も私の父の家も罪を犯しました。
７）私たちは、あなたに対して非常にわるいことをして、あなたのしもべモーセにお命じになった命令も、おきても、定めも守りませんでした。
８）しかしどうか、あなたのしもべモーセにお命じになったことばを、思い起こしてください。『あなたがたが不信の罪を犯すなら、わたしはあなたがたを諸国民の間に散らす。
９）あなたがたがわたしに立ち返り、わたしの命令を守り行なうなら、たとい、あなたがたのうちの散らされた者が天の果てにいても、わたしはそこから彼らを集め、わたしの名を住ませるためにわたしが選んだ場所に、彼らを連れてくる。』と。
10）これらの者たちは、あなたの偉大な力とその力強い御手を持って、あなたが贖われたあなたのしもべ、あなたの民です。
11）ああ、主よ。どうぞ、このしもべの祈りと、あなたの名を喜んで敬うあなたのしもべたちの祈りとに、耳を傾けてください。どうぞ、きょう、このしもべに幸いを見せ、この人の前に、あわれみを受けさせてくださいますように。」そのとき、私は王の献酌官であった。
Nehemiah 1
1)The words of Nehemiah the son of Hechalia.
It came to pass in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the citadel,
2)that Hanani one of my brethren came with men from Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who had survived the captivity, and concerning Jurusalem.
3)And they said to me, "The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire."
4)So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.
5)And I said: "I pray, LORD God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments,
6)please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against You. Both my father's house and I have sinned.
7)We have acted very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, not the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses.
8)Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying 'If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations;
9)but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gether them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.'
10)Now these are Your servants and Your people, whom You have redeemed by Your great power, and by Your strong hand.
11)O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man."
For I was the king's cupbearer.
