when i find something cool that i want to buy, i don't have money, when i have money, i find nothing, nonetheless, the money is always gone..... and now, i am in first half of the situation. oh well, this is the life.

i experienced petit surgey of my f**cked up finger today. the doctor first shot me an anesthetic injection twice, wait for a little while and stuck a needle into my finger in order to adjust the position of the string. and what the doctor described was that he would stick the needle many times and stir it inside the finger..... i wanted to see how he did but i was too scared to see.
今日は、イッちゃった指のプチ手術を体験。まずはお医者さんが麻酔注射を2度打ち、ちょっと待ってから筋を元の位置に調整するために針を突き刺しました。お医者さんは針を何回も刺し、指の中で針をぐちゃぐちゃ動かすと言ってました。どうやっているのか見たかったんですが、恐くて見れませんでした。

there is a yakiniku restaurant we often go, called "tonton-tei," nearby our home. there, meats are all good but the best one is the fancy meat (or variety meeat). the meat is real soft and fatty. also the point is, everytime we go there, there's only one customer or nobody there, even on weekends!" whatever they serve is really good and delicious but i wonder how the owner runs the business.....
家の近所によく行く「とんとん亭」という焼肉屋がありまして、そこではお肉は勿論おいしいんですが、最高なのはホルモン。もう柔らかくて脂身もたっぷり。もう一つのポイントは、いつ行ってもお客さんが一人、ないしはゼロ（週末でさえもね）!! 出されるものはどれも本当においしいんですが、おかみさんはどうやって切り盛りしているのか気になるところです。
since our garden became "jungle," i finally decided to go outside and cut those bushes. however, since the bushes grew too wild, i could not finish busting them out..... gotta go out tomorrow. oh, i got more than 20 of mosquito bites.....
庭が「ジャングル」と化していたため、とうとう庭に出てブッシュを刈ることに。ですが、あまりにも育ちすぎていたため、退治することができませんでした・・・。明日も出なければ。そう言えば、２０ヵ所以上も蚊に刺されました・・・。

i just watched light heavy weight tournament on tv. ks won but it seemed like the referee gave him a chance.... since this is after the s**t box match, it wasn't good at all.
ちょうどライト・へヴィー・ウェイト・トーナメントをテレビで見たところ。ksが勝ったんですが、レフリーにチャンスを与えられてたような・・・。○×なボックスの試合の後だったもんだから、あまり良い感じではありませんでしたね～。

this is the mix cd by garth who is the legendary ex-"wicked crew" of san fran. i have some of his mix tapes but this is the first his mix cd. pretty good stuff compliled; kinda dubby with not-so-fast tempo with little bit of west coast flava. this is more of chillin'-yet-still-danceable mix (if you listen to it loud) or laid-back mix. ever since i saw wicked crew in st. louis, i am into their music and so-smooth mix style. i am pretty happy about the fact that japan is now getting to know real stuff, not those big-time-world-famous-money-business dj's.
これは、サンフランのいまや伝説的な「ウィケッド・クルー」の元メンバーであるガースのミックスcdっす。彼のミックス・テープは何本か持ってるんですが、cdははじめてです。ちょっとダビーか感じの、それほど早くないテンポな、それでいてちょっと西海岸な感じで結構好きです。（ボリューム上げて聴けば）チル・アウトしながらもそれでいて踊れる曲、ないしはゆったりとした感じの曲。セントルイスで彼らのプレイを見て以来、結構はまりました。世界的に有名なギャラがバカ高いチージーなdjではなく、こうしたdjに目を向け始めている日本のシーンにちょっと幸せを感じている今日この頃です。

with my wife's introduction, i went to see another doctor yesterday to check my "again" f**ked up pinky finger. i told the doctor what happened in the last couple of months. he was like....."if you could come see me, it would be different....." it seemed that my finger once got well after 8 weeks of holding but since the other doctor forced me to fold as rehab, the string again was cut... (see the picture below).
奥さんの紹介で、「またもや」おかしくなってしまった小指のチェックの為に別のお医者さんのところに行ってきました。それで、お医者さんにここ2ヶ月間で何をしていたのか話しました。お医者さん曰く、「私のところに来ていたら、状況は変わっていたかもしれませんね・・・」と。8週間の固定で、一度は指も治っていた感じだったんですが、その後に今まで通っていたお医者さんがリハビリの為に無理やり指をひん曲げたため、再び筋を切ってしまったようなのです（画像参照）。
so, i just wasted time.... and money..... 8 weeks is not the short period of time!! through this case, i learned that there are good ones, not so good ones and bad ones. and obviously, the one i went to was bad one!! mallet finger really s**ks!!!
というわけで、時間とお金を無駄にしてしまったわけです。8週間というのは決して短い時間ではありません!! 今回の件を通して、良い、それほど良くない、そして悪いお医者さんがいるということを学びました。ハッキリしているのは、自分が行ったところは悪かったということ!! もう、マレット・フィンガーって最悪です!!!

i washed my shoes yesterday by putting them into the washing machine. and then, i put them into the dryer as i always do for my clothing. later, i pulled out them from the dryer and found out that those shoes turned out like that. shrank!!!!! didn't expect them to be like that.....
昨日、シューズを洗濯機にかけて洗いました。それで、洋服の時にするように乾燥機に入れたんですよ。その後、乾燥機から取り出してみたら、こんな状態に・・・。縮んでる～っ!!!!! まさか、こんなことになるとは・・・。
you can machine-wash your shoes but don't put them into the dryer.....
シューズは洗濯機で洗うことができますが、くれぐれも乾燥機にはぶち込まないように・・・。

i found my wife's old cellular phone while i was cleaning up living room. so, i decided to change my cellular phone to the black one. i went to the phone shop and transferred all the data (phone numbers and email addresses though). then i tried to send email to my wife and it worked alright but i found out that there was an error in out box section. i could not read emails i sent.....
リビングの掃除をしているときに、奥さんが以前に使っていた携帯電話を見つけました。それで、こっちの黒い方を使おうと決めたのです。で、お店に持っていってデータ（電話番号及びメール・アドレスのみですが）を移したわけです。その後、試しに奥さんにメールを送りまして、勿論ですが普通に機能しました。ですが、送信済みボックスに入っているメールを読むことができなかったんです。
i totally forgot why my wife changed her phone..... she did it because one of the functions was f**ked up!!! but since it cost me 2,100yen to transfer data, i shall use it for a while, like at least one year..... besides, it will cost me 5,000yen to fix the phone as the models is more than 3 years old..... there's no way to fix this.
奥さんがケータイを換えた理由をすっかり忘れてました・・・。機能の一つが壊れていたんで買い換えたんでした・・・。データの移し変えに2,100円ほどかかったんで、しばらくは、少なくとも1年くらいは使わないと・・・。しかも、機種が3年以上経っているので、修理するのに5,000円もかかるんです・・・。こんなんじゃぁ、修理なんてできません。
