while i was in san fran, i looked through ebay auction and found one. i talked to the seller several times by email before placing a bid, which was about the shipping cost to japan. then i placed the bid, actually it was "buy it now"
サンフランにいる間、イーベイ・オークションをアレコレ見てまして、一つ発見。入札の前にメールで何度か、送料に関して売り手と話す。それで入札（といっても、いわゆる一本値だったわけですが）。

at work, we had a meeting with new boss regarding where and what we are going to do. i was appointed to be working under the boss, which meant working in tokyo office. i kind of accepted the offer as i knew about it already.
仕事場で、新しいボスとどこで何をしていくのか、という事に関する打ち合わせ。それで、僕はこの新しいボスの下で働く、つまりは東京のオフィスで働くことを意味しますが、ことを伝えられました。もう既に分かっていたことなんで、とりあえずはこのオファーを受けました。
next day, current boss came over and we had again talked about this, and it turned out that what the new boss talked about was completely different from what the current boss talked..... before the meetings, those two bosses discussed and discussed over and over. that's what they said. then why contradicition arose, the question remains. so..., as far as the new job in tokyo is concerned, it does not have to be me at all, and there's no reason for me to be working in this company.
翌日、現在のボスと今回の件について再び話し合い、そこで分かったのが、新しいボスが話していた内容と現在のボスが話した内容が全く違っていたということでした・・・。このミーティングの前に、二人のボスは何度も何度も話し合ったそうです。ではなぜ、こんな相違が生まれたのか、疑問が残るところです。というわけで、東京での新しい仕事に関する限りでは、それは必ずしも僕でなければならないということはなく、そしてこの会社で働いている理由もなくなってしまいました。
the decision i made was..., to leave the company, and i told the current boss about this. he told me to reconsider over the weekend and tell him my final decision on monday.
自分で出した決定は・・・、会社を去るということ、それでその旨を現在のボスに伝えました。ボスは週末にもう一度考えて、最終的な決断を月曜日に伝えてほしいと言ったのです。
i had avoided such decision over and over in the past, and tried not to think about it as what i had been doing in this company was somewhat "dream came true" kind of work. but in somewhere in my mind, there's always a concern/fear towards what the future will be with regard to working in this company..... but i did not make any decisions and days and years passed by.
これまでの間、こういった決断を避けてきましたし、できるだけ考えないようにしてきました。というのも、これまでやっていた仕事というのがある面、「夢が叶った」感じの仕事だったのです。ですが、自分の心の中にはいつも、現在の会社で働くことに対する将来の懸念というのがあったわけでして・・・、だからといって何を決めるわけでもなく、時間だけが過ぎていったのでした。
i will tell both bosses tomorrow to leave the company. this is what i decided by myself, and i won't regret this. of course, i told my wife about this. she concerned about leaving the company without having informal appointment from anoher company but she finally accepted. thank you very much, and i really mean it.
明日、会社を去る旨をあらためて二人のボスに伝える予定です。これは自分自身で決断したことであり、後悔はしません。勿論、このことは奥さんにも話しました。奥さんは、他の会社からの内定が無い状態で会社を辞めることに懸念を抱いておりましたが、最終的には受け入れてくれました。本当に感謝してます。
to my company, i would like to say thank you so much for letting me to work. i leaned a lot from the company and the current boss. he was the one to hire me years ago. there may be things that i overcome from now on but i will go over, one by one, with my wife.
今の会社に対しては、今まで自分を働かせてくれて本当にありがとうございましたと言いたいです。会社、そして現在のボスから沢山のことを学びましたし、その昔、僕を雇ってくれたのも現在のボスでした。これから色んなことがあると思いますが、奥さんと一緒に一つずつ乗り越えていきます。

on saturday, i had lunch with a guy from my company. he had been transferred to tokyo office, and same as me, he is in the turning point of his life now. even though he had informal appointment from another company in tokyo, he is still considering..... it's tough to make a desicion but whatever you decide is the decision you make, and i do hope the decision will make him to have better life!!
土曜日、会社の人とお昼を一緒に。彼は東京に転勤したのですが、僕同様、人生の転換点を迎えているようです。既に他の会社から内定を貰っているようですが、色々と考えるところはあるみたい。決断を下すのは困難なことだけど、それは自分自身で決めたこと。そして、その決断が良い人生へと結びついていくよう祈っていますよ!!

on monday, august 28, i went to find souvenirs for my wife and for myself, that is records!! i first went to "in house records" which miles recommended. the store was supposed to open at 13:00. i waited in front of the store until 13:30; however, no one came to open the store. so, i took a muni bus to go to haight street.
8月28日の月曜日、奥さんへのお土産、そして自分へのお土産、レコードですが、を探しに行きました!! 最初、マイルスがレコメンドしてくれた「イン ハウス レコーズ 」へ。13：00オープンのはずが、13：30まで待っても誰もお店を開けに来ませんでした。というわけで、ミューニー・バスに乗ってヘイト・ストリートへ。

i got off the bus @ alamo square because we used to live right by the alamo square. everything was still same such as seven sisters, the view, etc.
それで、アラモ・スクエアでバスを降りました。というのも、その昔、アラモ・スクエアのすぐ脇に住んでいたから。セブン・シスターズや景観など、全てがそのままでした。

after alamo square, i walked to open mind music which was also close to where we lived. there, i bought some records and then headed for haight street.
アラモ・スクエアの後、そのまま歩いて、こちらも近所にあったオープン・マインド・ミュージックというレコ屋さんへ。そこで、数枚のレコードを購入。

on haight, i first tried to find souvenirs for my wife which are of course, earrings. i thought i could find them easily but there were not that many stores selling earring but luckily i could find some for her!!
ヘイトでは、まずは奥さんのお土産であるピアスを探して歩きました。ピアスを売っているお店はいっぱいあるだろうと思っていたんですが、これがあまりなかったんですよ。でも、幸運にも幾つか見つけることができました!!
shops along haight were basically the same as compare to years ago but there were some changes: there were many sneaker shops like the ones you could find in tokyo. sneaker culture is truly expanding to worldwide.
ヘイト沿いのお店は昔と比べても基本的に変わりはなかったんですが、それでも幾つか変化が：東京辺りで見かけるようなスニーカー・ショップが多数ありました。スニーカー文化というのは本当に世界に広がっているんですね。

after walking up and down on haight, i went to lower haight to visit "groove merchant records/ubiquity records ." too bad they were closed on mondays.....
ヘイト沿いを往復した後、「グルーヴ・マーチャント・レコーズ／ユビクウィティ・レコーズ 」に行くためにロウワー・ヘイトへ移動。ですが、残念なことにお店は月曜日が定休日・・・。

so, i went down some blocks on haight to go to "tweekin' records ." yes, they were open!! it took me a long time but i bought really good stuff, much good stuff i may not be able to get in japan. since i bought a lot of records, store staff gave me many promo cds which includes greenskeepers album (including bonus mix cd!) that is to be released on october 24 from om records . thanks a lot!!
というわけで、ヘイト沿いを数ブロック下がって「トゥイーキン・レコーズ 」へ。やったぁ!! こちらはオープン。結構な時間を要しましたが、日本では恐らく手に入らないようなナイスなレコードを沢山購入。沢山のレコードを購入したということもあり、お店のスタッフからこれまた沢山のプロモcdを頂きました（中には10月24日にomレコーズ からリリースされるグリーンスキーパーズ のアルバム（ミックスcdのボーナス入り!）も）。どうもありがとうございました!!

i asked miles (miles maeda ) about clubs in sf, and he told me to go to josh 's (iz of iz & diz ) party "bionic" @ pink on every sunday night. so i went there again . omg, he played great music, house music i would never listen to in japan!! after his play, i got to talk to joshua and had some drinks together (thanks for the drink!). pink is a really great club, and i would really recommend to go if you get a chance to visit sf.
サンフランのクラブについてマイルス（マイルス・マエダ ）に聞いたら、ピンク で毎週日曜日に行われているジョッシュ（iz & diz のiz の方）のパーティーをレコメンドされました。というわけで、再び ピンクに。彼のプレイは最高で、日本では聴くことのないだろうハウス!! 彼のプレイの後、話す機会がありまして一緒にお酒を飲んだわけです（奢ってもらい、ありがとう!）。ピンクはもう最高のクラブなんで、皆さんもサンフランに行く機会がありましたら是非寄ってみてください。

i got a phone call from japan and told that they worked things out alright. so, i can go home soon but depends on whether or not i can change my flight schedule to tuesday. if it's packed, then i will leave here on wednesday. anyway, it's good to hear that.
日本から電話がありまして、事がうまく運んだそうです。というわけで、こちらもすぐに帰れるようになりました。が、あとは火曜日のフライトに変更できるかどうかです。満席であれば、水曜日に出発ということになります。いずれにしても、良いニュースでした。

as i wrote, i have been eating junk stuff, so i ordered salad and grabbed superfood at walgreen's. safeway, supermarket store chains, was promoting their own branded cola on the street and i got one. don't like diet though.
ジャンクばかり食べていたので、サラダをオーダー。それで、ウォルグリーンでスーパーフードをゲット。スーパーマーケット・チェーンのセーフウェイが路上で自社ブランドのコーラをプロモートしていたので、自分もひとつもらいました。ダイエットは好きじゃないんですけどね。

after the phone call, i went out to buy some souvenirs. i was gonna buy some coffee beans w/ hazelnut flavor but walgreen's didn't have one. i wish a supermarket, such as safeway, is near my hotel..... but i found marshall's and ross right across the street. they might have it, so i will check out tomorrow.
