meet up = 人に会う。
meet と何が違うのって？
大して違いません。
ただ、meetというと合致するとか、応じるとか、他にもいろんな意味を持ちますが、
meet upというと「会う、（約束して）会う」という意味に限定されます。

清香園（Seikouen）is the name of the Yakiniku restaurant.
I saw some celebrities' names on the bottles kept there.

Just have a look.
This the airport of Samui island.
What a beautiful airport !! This just looks like a resort.
きれいな空港！まるでリゾートのようです。
and this is where we surfed. Nobody else around, just us to surf ! Great !
そして、これがサーフィンしたところ。私たち以外にだれもサーフィンしてないの！最高！
We drank afterward, this is the famous SINGHA beer of Thailand.

その後、飲みました～。これがタイの有名なビール、シンハーです。
ボトルカバーにムエタイのイラストが描いてあるでしょ。
drink →飲む。 日本語のニュアンスと同じ。飲む＝酒を飲む。
drink coffee とかtea とか特定しない場合はだいたい飲酒の意。
The Muay Thai match is announced by this ad car in the city center.
"Muay Thai match, Friday night, from seven pm, the Muay Thai match........"
They repeat with a microphone.
中心街で、この宣伝カーでムエタイのアナウンスが流れます。
「ムエタイマッチ、金曜の夜、7時から・・・・ムエタイマッチ、・・・・」
マイクで繰り返します。
The things you may see in Phuket are :
Thai massage, tattoo shops, dogs on the street, Thai food stand, and ...
プーケットで見かけるものといえば：
タイ・マッサージ、タトゥーショップ、道端の犬、屋台、そして・・・
the Korean stars !
韓流スター！
They appear in many advertisements. We didn't see any Japanese celebrities on the ads.
The Korean stars are popular in Thailand.
韓流スターはいろんな広告に登場します。日本の芸能人は見かけなかったですね。
タイでは韓流スターが人気です。
It was quite amazing that we didn't see many Japanese travellers in Phuket,
but as far as I know, there are 2 diving and surfing shops run by Japanese staff,
so it is easy to arrange the trip and marine activities if you reach them.
プーケットではほとんど日本人観光客を見かけなかったので驚きましたが、
私の知る限りでは、日本人が経営するダイビング・サーフィンショップが２軒あるので、
彼らと連絡を取ればマリンアクティヴィティーや旅行のアレンジは簡単にできますよ。

「プーケット、ダイビング、サーフィン」って検索するとすぐに出てきますよ。
We enjoyed Phuket so much that we'll go again for sure !

サワディカー！ This is my journal (日記） of Phuket.
Sorry, I was out of the country ! Been to Phuket, Thailand for a few days.
McDonald's in Thailand looks like this.
My friend and I planned this trip to get a diving lisence and to surf in the warm ocean !
Getting the Open Water Divers' Lisence in Thailand was way cheaper than getting it in Japan.
友人と「あったかい海でダイビング・ライセンス取って、サーフィンしよう！」ってことで計画したこの旅行。
断然○○→way ○○（比較級）
断然安い→way cheaper
Phuket Airport
This is where we stayed.
The hotel entrance.
We flew from Narita and had to transit in Hong Kong.
This midnight flight got to our final destination at 3:00 am.
Arriving at the hotel at 4:00 and took 2 hours of sleep, and we were off to dive !
成田を出発して、香港で乗り継ぎ。
この真夜中のフライトは3時に最終目的地に到着。
ホテルには朝4時について、2時間くらい寝て、さあダイビング！
Diving gear, the BC jacket.
We made such an intense itinerary, we finished our diving lesson in 2 and a half days,
and one whole day for surfing in Samui island which is an hour-flight away from Phuket.
itinerary （ɑɪtínərèri） →旅行日程。scheduleと言ってもＯＫですが、
旅行のスケジュールに限ってはitineraryということが多いです。
すごくキツキツな日程にしまして、ダイビングレッスンを2日半で終え、
丸一日サムイ島という、プーケットから飛行機で一時間のところでサーフィンしてきました。
The temperature was around 30 degrees Celcius for the whole days we spent there and
no rain. We went out for Thai food and Thai massage every night.
Both are very cheap !
degrees Celcius →摂氏○度
華氏はFahrenheitと言います。 degrees Fahrenheit.
気温は、滞在中毎日だいたい30度くらい。雨は降らず。毎晩タイ料理とタイマッサージを求め
町に繰り出しました。どちらも安いんです！
