タイヤ交換 changing tires for winter

今、ガソリンスタンドにて冬タイヤに交換中。

今年はちょっと早めですが、安心だからね。

走行中うるさくなるし、燃費も悪い。でも、これで霜がおりても平気！

I'm waiting at petrol station for changing tires for winter. I didn't change tires in Bhutan but we need to do in northern part of Japan. Winter tires make noisier sound and eat more fuel. However, nothing is important than safety. Now I don't need to worry about frost and snow.

タイヤといえば、8年前、ブータンでのことですが。

パンク修理に行ったら、こんなパッチ貼られたっけ。

この記事を書いているノートPCは、この会社とおそろいの最後のモデル。

・・・ほんとにおそろいだったら、スゴイと思う！

Thinking about tires, I remember this photo.

This was 8 years ago in Bhutan. I went workshop to repair tire puncture. They used a patch with this famous design.

The note PC which I'm writing thie article now is the last model with this company. Is there any possibility they are same company producs???

發が病気になりました Hatsu was sick

ブータンから連れてきた猫の發（はつ）が、尿路結石になりました。

猫にはよくある病気で、ある程度覚悟はしていたものの、やっぱり心配。

ぐったりしている様子をみるのは、心が痛いものです。

幸い治療が間に合って、2週間たった今はすっかり元気になりました。

走ったり、高いところに飛び乗ったり、いつもの行動をとるようになっています。

My Bhutanese cat, Hatsu came to Japan with me suffered from an urinary tract calculus.

It's a common disease to a cat and I expected it someday. However, it's painfull to see.

Fortunately, the treatment effected immediately and he is getting well now. Now he runs, jumps as usual.

ただ、發は、フードの好みが激しいのが、悩みの種。

処方食を食べさせるのですが、なかなか食べてくれなくて…。

病院からいろんなサンプルをいただき、ためしておりますが、今までほどの食欲はまだありません。

具合悪かった余波で食欲がおちているだけなのか、フードがまったく気に入らないのか…？わたしのやきもきは、もうちょっと続きそうです。

The only problem is that he still loses his appetite. He is very particular about food. I'm feeding him with the food which I got from veterinary doctor, but he is not happy with it. Doctor gave me various kinds of samples and I'm trying those one by one. I don't know he lost his appetite because of sickness or just he doesn't like it. It seems I need to worry about him some more time.

こんな風に、３匹なかよく穏やかに暮らしてくれていたら、それだけで最高に幸せです。

The center one is Hatsu just after the treatment.

I'm happy enough if these three cats spend healthy and peaceful.

甥っ子の成長

先日、マレーシアに住む上の弟一家とスカイプしました。

奥さんと男の子ふたりの4人家族です。

お兄ちゃんは6歳。一年生。

弟は6か月。今年の4月うまれです。

私にはもうひとり弟がいるのですが、そこの甥っ子と、こちらのお兄ちゃんはふたりともママそっくり。でも、とうとう、見たことある赤ちゃんが出てきました！パパの赤ちゃん時代そっくり！

見たことある顔って、不思議だね。遺伝子って、不思議な仕事をするもんです。

スカイプ途中で泣き出した弟のおむつを、お兄ちゃんが上手に替えていました。お父さんが、適当に手を出そうとすると、「順番があるの！」とさえぎったりして。ずっと毎日、おむつを替えているんだって。

弟夫婦も元気にしていてほしいし、甥っ子たちものびのびすくすく育ってほしい。

そして、こんなふうに弟を大切にできる甥っ子の成長がなによりうれしいのでした。

スカイプさん、ありがとう。

I talked with my brother and his family in Malaysia threw Skype. He lives in there with his wife and two sons.

The elder son is 6 years old and studying at class 1 now. The younger one is 6 months old.

This baby is the first one who has familiar face to us among my nephews. He looks just like his father's face in the days of baby.

When we were talking, the baby started crying. The elder brother changed diapers very smoothly. He is doing that everyday.

I'm happy to know that my brother and all his family are well. And I'm especially happy to see my nephews are growing nicely.

I thank Skype technology to let us feel closer even we have distance.
