基礎は大事！ Basic technique
ブータン刺繍教室で入門後すぐに練習する課題の見本を、ときどき刺します。
課題が終わると返却してもらうのですが、入門する方が続くと足りなくなったりするので。

基本って、だいじ！
シンプルだからこそ、基本の基本だからこそ、最初に練習するのですが、シンプルなものほど難しい。これをきちんと刺すのは、一周まわってやっぱり最大のテーマになったりします。
These are very basic simple techniques and that's why we start with these. However, these are very difficult because these are simple. After I master various techniques, I find simple one is the most important theme.
There is long way to learn.

どんと祭 Donto festival
1月14日は、どんと祭でした。
Every 14th Jan., we hold Donto Festival. We visit shrine and leave Shimenawa to burn. Shimenawa is a new year decolation of home entrance made with rice straw. We believe Shemenawa protects us from evils.
はだか参りの人たちを、見かけました。
風も雪もなく、おだやかな天気でしたが、やっぱり寒いです！はだか参りの方たちを見ると、尊敬と祈りの気持ちになります。
みんなが健康で平和な一年を過ごせますように。
I saw the people on the way of Hadaka Mairi which means naked prayer.
It was not windy or snowing but very cold! I realy appriciate them.
I wish all the people in peace and good health.

あけまして おめでとうございます A happy new year!!
あけましておめでとうございます。
どんな年末年始をお過ごしでしたか？
うちは、今年も弟一家が来なかったので、母とふたり、静かなお正月でした。
おせち料理も縮小版で胃もたれもなく、楽といえば楽なのですが、やっぱりさびしい。
来年のお正月はみんなで来ると言ってくれているので、にぎやかに過ごすのが今から楽しみです。
今日は、年末年始の写真から、ちょこっと報告です。
A happy new year !
How was your new-year's holidays?
On this new year, both of my brothers didn't come back, so I spent only with my mother. So new year dinner was very simple, and we had very quiet holidays.
Still, I had fun with my mom. I would like to introduce some recent photos.
大晦日の朝、車にみごとな霜がおりていました！
こんな美しさはやっぱり私の手からはつくりだせない。
あわただしい日でしたし、寒い寒い朝でしたが、感動の朝でもありました。
元旦は、母と近所の神社にお参りしました。
去年のように5社まわろうと家を出たはずなのですが、ひとつめの神社でお参りの行列にすっかり体が冷えてしまい、結局一社だけお参りしてスタバへ。
お参りはね、数じゃないのよ。祈りの質よ。たぶん。
In the new year eve morning, I found beautiful frost on front glass of my car. It was amazingly beautiful! I really appreciate the great nature. It was busy morning, and was very cold. Still I felt happy.
The new year's day, I visited a Shinto shrine with my mom. Actually, we had planded to visit 5 shrines but it was very cold and we gave up. We had nice hot coffee at starbucks.
We believe that what important is the heart of prayer, not the number of shrines to visit.
2日は、県北の伊豆沼へ。
我が家恒例、冬は一度は水鳥を見に行かないと。
凍るように冷たい水ですが、これでもこの鳥たちはここの方が暖かいから来ているんだと思うと不思議です。わたしの快適、あなたの快適。違って当然とはいえ、自分の感覚でものごとをとらえちゃいけない、と思ったりしました。
On 2nd Jan. we went Izunuma where we can see migratory birds like swans, wild geese and so on.
The water was very very cold but still, this water is warm for them. I felt interesting.
いつもいる羊ですが、今年はやっぱり注目度があがります。
わたしも4回目の年女。もこもこの体にどんくささが漂いますが、羊毛はあったかいのだよ。
静かな存在感で突き進みたいと思います。
Sheep's year had come!
I was born in the year of sheep. So I feel like this is my year.
I'll try to be useful and helpful person like sheep even not so active.
