すんぷちょ Sunpucho
すんぷちょの公演に行ってきました。
タイトル「ひゃくねんモンスター」
I went to see the stage of Sunpucho. The title was "Hundred-year Monster"
この舞台から感じたのは、自分以外の存在を感じて反応する楽しさ。
命とか、生きづらさとか、そういうことをテーマにしつつ、すんぷちょのすることですから、明るく力強く、あと味明るい世界です。
学生時代の先輩の西海石みかささん主宰のすんぷちょ。
初回公演のとき、お手伝いさせていただきました。
すっかり発展していて、感激！
表現することに、条件ってないんですよ。本当は。
それぞれの持ち味が大事なわけですから。
でも実際は、効率とか、安全とか、いろいろ理由をつけて制限したりってこと、あるでしょ。
すんぷちょは、力まずに、いろんな人が一緒にいられる、楽しめる、共感できる。
いいなぁって思う。

I strongly felt the joy to perform from everyone on the stage. The themes were the power of lives and the hardness to live. The way of Sunpucho is always cheerful and powerful.
Mikasa san, the leader of Sunpucho is my old friend. I'm so glad to see her success.
今回チケットを買ったのは、すんぷちょ初出演のみゆきさんから。
それがね、ぜんぜん舞台とは関係ないところで知り合ったんですよ。
みゆきさんは、たぶん、わたしが舞台にかかわったことがあったことも知らなかったと思います。
「今度舞台に出るので、みに来てください～」
とチラシを見せられました。
すんぷちょなの～！？
すんぷちょ知ってるの～！？
お互い驚きでした。いやぁ～。悪いことって、できないね。
I got the information of this stage from Miyuki san, who is my friend from very far from stages. She didn't know I have relationship with the leader Mikasa san. It was happy surprise to find that both of us know Mikasa san.
今回のタイトルに、わたしが一番感じたこと。
いちばんのモンスターは、みかささん
子供の動きは面白いし、決まっている。
でも、大人になるにつれ、頭で考えた動きになってしまう。
作った美しさもあるけど、作った不自然さもある。
母語だと自然に話せて、習得した言語だと流暢でもどこか不自然なのと似た感じ。
みかささんは、子供のように自然に動く。
本当は、誰よりも理論も分析も内にあるのに。
あの天性のものは才能と呼ばずして、なんと言う？
あれだけの人の広がりの中心にいること。
自分が表現すること。
みんなの表現する力をいつの間にか引き出しちゃうこと。
モンスターです。
I found that Mikasa san is the monster.
She can perform just like children. She looks she can perform without acting but in very natural way, even she is very cool and has methods and theories. She not only perform attractively but also let other people perform actively.
She is the monster.

インドの仏 INdian Buddhist Art
去年からチラシをにぎりしめて待っていた、「インドの仏」展がはじまりました。

昔は日本の仏像が好きだったから、とても東洋人には見えないガンダーラの仏像はちょっとな…と思っていました。彫刻としては美しいけど、仏教じゃないって思っていました。
でも、像を作り始めたということ自体当時はすごいことだったし、見慣れれば美男子だし。
今は大好きです。
マトゥラーのおおらかな明るさも好きです。
そして、密教の部屋まで来ると、自分のフィールドにもどった感じ。
とっても楽しかったです。
I didn't like the art from Gandhara, because, they don't look like asian. I do appreciate the statues but just I couldn't imagene those as Buddha.
However, it was grate idea that they started to show Buddha in human form. And I found the statues of Gandhara are very handsome.
Now, I like them very much.
I like the cheerful Mathura statues, too.
Then, when I went into the exhibition room of Esoteric Buddhisum, I felt so familiar.
I enjoyed this exhibition a lot.

バヌアツのサイクロン Cyclone in Vanuatu
バヌアツのサイクロン被害。ひどいですね。
今も救助を待っている人たちがたくさんいると思うと、胸が痛みます。
バヌアツには、1993年8月に行きました。
ブータン以上にゆったりと時間が流れる、素敵なところでした。
その時も、ちょうど大きなサイクロンが来たばかりでした。
行きの飛行機の中でCAさんに、「大丈夫？」と聞いたところ、
地上の作物はだめだけど、イモは大丈夫だし、
学校が休みになって子供たちはうれしいし、
家をみんなで建てるから、若い人たちは家の建て方を学べるし、
だいじょうぶ～！！
といわれて、そのおおらかさにびっくり。
でも、今回の被害は、あの時の比ではありません。
一日も早く、いつもの生活が取り戻せるよう、祈っています。
今日の画像は、実家の玄関に力強く立っている、バヌアツから連れてきた豚です。
I've got shocked so much about the cyclone in Vanuatu.
So many people are still waiting for the rescue.
I'd been to Vanuatu in 1993.
Vanuatu is very peaceful beautiful place.
Just before I visited, there was a cyclone attack in Vanuatu.
I said sorry to flight attendant on the way to Vanuatu, then she said
"We lost crops above the ground but potatos, taro and other crops under ground are safe.
Children are happy with temporary scchool closing and they can learn how to build houses.
We are OK"
I was surprised with their optimistic way of thinking.
But the damage of this time is far serious.
I hope they can get back to the normal life soon.
