Today was the 1st day of Design Festa.
Ms. Yoko visited me.
本郷の東大仏教青年会のレッスンに通っていてくださった方で、今はオーストラリア在住。
帰国中にデザインフェスタに遊びに来ていて、帰り際にFacebookみたら、わたしがいることに気づいて、駆けつけてくれました。
うれしぃ～！！ひさしぶり！！
お元気そうで、話がはずみました。
村松さんのように、なつかしい人にも会えたけど、新しく素敵な出会いもありました。
世の中には、魅力な人がいるもんだなぁと思います。
普段、ねぼけた生活をしている私には、ものすごい刺激です。
Ms. Yoko is a member of my lessons at Young Buddhist Association of The University of Tokyo. But I haven't met her recently because she is living in Australia so far. I was so happy to see her and to know that she is doing well there.
It's nice to see old friends but so exciting to make new friends also. I'm spending quiet life usualy, but I found there are so many attractive people in the world.
強い刺激は楽しいけど、お腹も減るのね。
Yokoちゃんちのそばの韓国料理やさんで、晩御飯。
ユッケジャンクッパの卵抜き。すごくおいしかった！
明日も頑張ります。
After spending exciting time, we felt so hungry. We enjoyed nice Korean meal.
I'll be at Design Festa tommorow too.

お花見さんぽ Admiring Cherry Blossom
今日は、毎年恒例、母とお花見さんぽ。近所の川の堤防を歩きました。
こんなに寒いお花見は、ひさびさです。今日までに満開になるかと思っていたのに、最近の寒さで開花はすすまず、まだまだ蕾が残っていました。
I took a walk with my mom to see cherry blossom today.
It was so cold today. We expected to see full blossom, but because of the cold weather of last few days, less than half flowers are blooming.
蕾をみあげることはあまりないので、蕾のシルエットもちょっと素敵。和菓子の包装紙に、白黒でいかがでしょう？
I think this is my first time to see the silhouette of buds. I found I like it.
普通、桜は花びらがはらはら散るのに、しかも、まだ咲きかけなのに、地面にたくさんのお花が落ちていました。見ると、雀が花の根本をつついていました。蜜があるのかな。
Usually, cherry blossom fall as petals, not as the flower shapes. But, we found many flowers on the ground, today. Then we found sparrows were pecking flowers. Perhaps, they enjoy its honey.
人間が手折るのはいけませんが、鳥のしわざでは仕方ありません。
地面の桜も、新しい楽しみと思いましょう。
We human beings can't disturb the flowers, but we can't stop sparrows. I think they let us enjoy in new way with the flowers on the ground.

LOCKET
リトルプレス「LOCKET」が発行されました。
旅が大好きな23歳の内田洋介さんが編集する雑誌です。
A new magazine "LOCKET" had been launched.
The editor is Mr. Uchida who loves traveling.
『特集 しあわせのありか』
で、ブータンが取り上げられています。
実際に旅行された内田さんの経験や素直な感想とともに、帰国後、何人かのブータンにかかわりがある人にインタビューした記事も載っています。
その中で、わたしもインタビューしていただきました。
今回の話題は、ブータンで刺繍して日本で販売する雑貨のブランド「Bluepine Chusum」が中心です。
あの、とりとめのないわたしのおしゃべりをきれいにまとめてくださって、脱帽。
美しい写真に撮っていただいた作品たちも、うれしそうです。
雑誌のタイトル「LOCKET」は、内田さんが大切にしていらっしゃるロケット・ペンダントから。
そのペンダントをさするたびに、思い起こすことがいろいろあるそうです。
きっと、この雑誌も、いろんな思いをひきだすひとつになりますように、という命名なのでしょう。
「世界各地のセンス・オフ・バリュー（価値観）を彷徨う旅雑誌」という位置づけに、今後が楽しみです。
Its feature articles are "where we can find happiness"
Edditor Mr. Uchida traveled around Bhutan. After he came back to Japan, he made interviews and wrote articles. As one of those, he wrote about me. The mail topic wite me is the products of Bluepine Chusum. I just talked freely at the interview. I appreciate his talent to write. I look so smart in the article that what I am.
