同窓会 High School Alumni Association

台風で大荒れになった敬老の日は、高校の同窓会でした。

悪天候のため、来られなかった方たちは本当に残念でしたが、一年前から準備してきた会はなごやかにすすみ、楽しく過ごしてきました。

入学してから30年。同窓会の幹事をする学年にあたります。

来年には創立110周年。

同志社大学の分校として設立され、初代校長は新島襄さんなのだとか。

高校生のときも、そんな説明はうけたはずですが、まったく覚えておりません。

大河ドラマの力ってすごいですね。

On 16th Sep. we had High School Alumni Association gathering. The day, we had terrible typhoon, and some of us couldn't come. Still, we spent wonderful time.

It's been 30 years since we entered high school. And this year, we are secretary batch of the association meeting. The first principal was Jo Niijima, who is now famous with the NHK drama.

実行委員にまきこんでくれたのは、部活が一緒だった面々。

で、一緒に仕事するのかと思ったら、私には表紙をつくれって･･･。

でも、それならできる！

わたしがブータン刺繍のパーツをもちより、プログラム係のみんなが図案をデザインしてくれました。

今回の同窓会のテーマである「継」を表しています。

When one of my friends told me to join the secretaries, they expected me to make the cover page of the program. I'm happy because that what I can contribute. I designed with my friends and I embroidered. The design is "継" which means "succeeding".

作品はタペストリーにして同窓会に寄贈しました。

当日、会場に飾ってくれました。下側の丸いのは、校章です。

みんなに素敵って言ってもらって、とてもうれしかった。

刺すのはちょっと苦労したけど、とっても勉強になったし、私はそれでよかったのに。

本当は、みんなそれぞれが持っている力を発揮して当日を迎えたわけですから、わたしが特別頑張ったというわけではありません。なのに、ちょっと目立ってしまって、うれしいような恐縮してしまうような。

I made it as wall hanging and donated to the alumni. The round one is our school emblem.

Everybody told me that was nice and I was happy to know they like it. However, everybody contribute what they can and so that we could hold the gathering. I'm not the one who worked hardest.

同窓会のアトラクションは、同級生の田中志津ちゃん のフラメンコ。

かっこいぃ～

本当は「オレ！」というかけ声を実行委員みんなで練習していたんだけど、なかなかむずかしいです。

でも、みんな楽しみました。

The entertainment program was flamenco. One of our class mates studied in Spain and now she is professional foamenco dancer.

She is so COOL !!!

みんながそれぞれの場所で生きているって、それだけでとても元気づけられます。

思いどおりの人生ばかりじゃないけど、みんなそれぞれ、今の自分を肯定していこうよ！

もちろん、お互いもね！

Everybody is living as just as she is and that encouraged us each other a lot. We are proud to be a member of wonderful people.

若冲 Jakuchu

伊藤若冲をみに、福島県立美術館に行ってきました。

この展示は、東日本大震災の復興支援ということで、仙台、盛岡をまわって、今最後の福島で9月23日まで展示されています。

仙台でも二回見たのですが、今回のお目当ては、果蔬涅槃図。

I went to Fukushima Prefectural Museum of Art to see Jakuchu Ito's painting. Jakuchu is one of the most famous Japanese painters of Edo era. This exhibition is held to support the victims of the earthquake.

This exbition was held in Sendai and I visited twice. However, I have particular paint which didn't came to Sendai. It is "Scene of Buddhha's Nirvana by Vegetables".

京都国立博物館所蔵の作品です。

以前から、一度見てみたいと思っていました。

野菜と果物だけが描かれているのに、一目で涅槃図とわかる、不思議な絵です。

ユーモラスに感じるかと思っていましたが、やっぱり涅槃図でした。

みずみずしい野菜でしおれていないのに、うちひしがれて見えます。

若冲は、家族のために描いたのだそうです。

釈尊の入滅をなげく悲しみがただよっていました。

ほかの方たちに迷惑だと思いつつ、しばらくこの作品の前を動けませんでした。

ほかの作品は、仙台でも見たものなので、さらっと見てこようとおもっていたのに、結局2時間以上かかってしまいました。

最初に見たときよりも、好みの作品はじっくりと、それ以外はさらっと、と強弱をつけての鑑賞でした。仙台の会場よりも広かったので、仙台では入れ替えになっていた作品が一緒に並んでいたりして、豪華でした。展示の見せ方で、作品の印象がかわるのも、勉強になりました。

行ってよかった。

Kyoto National Museum owns this paint. And I was eager to see it for long time.

Only vegetables and fruits are painted. But, once I watch, I could recognize that this is the scene of nirvana. I expected to feel the sense of humor. And what I felt was sadness. Those vegetables look fresh but dejacted. Jakuchu painted this for his family.

I felt sorry to disturv others but I couldn't leave from this paint for long time.

I already saw others in Sendai, still I enjoyed again.

誕生日でした

先日、私の誕生日でした。

昔は気付かなかったけど、誕生日って、

自分がいかに恵まれていて、たくさんの人たちとご縁があって、

ありがたいなぁって、再確認する日だと思いました。

24th Aug was my 46th birthday.

Birthday remains me how happy I am. I'm very rich on human relationships.

今年の私の誕生日は、父の三回忌法要がありました。

命日ではないのですが、去年から家族で確認して、決まっていました。

日ごろ会えない2人の弟とその家族をはじめ、伯父やいとこたちにも会えました。

こんな日をつくってくれるなんて、父はやっぱりいつまでも偉大です。

The day, we had a private gthering for th third anniversary of my father's death.

Only my mother lives in same town and I hardly have chance to see my brothers and their family. On this day, I could see uncle and cousins, too. My father can make opportunity of family gathering. He is still great even he is not around.

上の写真は、5歳の甥っ子が描いてくれた絵です。

草ぼうぼうのうちの庭も、かわいらしい目で見るとお花畑なのでしょうか？

蝶が飛んでいるところがうれしいです。

日本人ですが、マレーシアに住んでいます。

お日様が黄色いところが、マレーシア育ちを感じさせます。

いとこが作ってきてくれたコースターで、ゆっくりお茶時間です。

The photo is a picture which is my 5-year-old nephew drew for me. My garden is not well treated and just like a bush. But what he drew looks cozy. How sweet he is ! The coaster is a gift from my cousin. I'm having happy tea time.

みなさま、ありがとう。

この幸せを忘れずに、また一年元気に生きていきます！
