ブータンに行ってきます I'll come to Bhutan
ブータンに行ってきます。
ブータン滞在は、11月17日(日)～11月24日（日)です。
今回はひとりで行くので、観光はほとんどしない予定。
去年会えなかった人たちに会ったり、去年も会った人たちともっとゆっくりしたり、してきます。
それから、今後ブータンとの関係を深めた仕事を展開していくので、そのへんを頑張ってきます。
帰国後、いい報告ができるよう、はりきって行ってきます。
I'll come to Bhutan. I'll be in Thimphu from 17th to 24th Nov.
This time, I'll come alone. I want to spend with friends and less sightseeing.
ブータンに出発する前に東京でのブータン刺繍教室があるので、仙台は14日に出発します。
帰宅は25日の予定です。
その間、ネットには現れない予定です。
メールなどいただいた分は、帰国次第準備お返事させていただきます。

ブータンからのメール A mail from Bhutan
とてもとてもうれしいことがありました。
ブータンの母校の刺繍科の先生から、メールが来ました。
彼女は今は先生ですが、わたしの留学当時は2年先輩の学生で、とってもたよりになる素敵な女性です。
今年、わたしの刺繍教室からひとり母校に刺繍留学に行った方がいるのですが、彼女の刺繍をほめてくれました。そして、「学校の先生たちはあなたのことも誇りに思っているよ。だって、Sちゃんにきちんと教えているから。」と。
ほんと？ほんと？ ありがとぉ～
I'm so excited!
I've got a mail from Bhutanese friend. She is embroidery teacher in my school in Bhutan and she was a student 2 years senior than me when I was there.
There is a Japaneese student Ms S there now and she had started her Bhutanese embroidery with me in my class in Tokyo. The teacher says that Ms S is doing well in Bhutan. And said "Teachers in school are proud of you because you have taught Ms S well."
Really? Is that true? Thanks a lot 
本当は、Sちゃんがきちんと学んで刺してくれているということで、わたしの力は何分の一もないのです。
おごっちゃいかんぞ、わたし。
でも、うれしい。今日は喜ぼう。明日からは、またこつこつ頑張ろう。
と、挙動不審になっています。
刺繍教室を始めてから5年。
わたしは、ブータンの刺繍をちゃんと伝えることができているのだろうか、という自分への問いかけはいつもありました。それが、私のやりたいことだし、学ばせてもらった役目と責任でもあるし。
このままの方向で頑張っていけばよいのだよ、と、背中を押してもらった気がします。
Actually, Ms S is doing well and my support is just a small. It's her success.
I shouldn't have a swollen head.
However, I'm so glad!! I let me stay in the mood of extreme happiness today. And after tomorrow I'll do my best again.
5 years have passed since I had opened my Bhutanese embroidery school. I was always asking myself whether I'm handing over the real Bhutanese embroidery to Japanese properly. That what I want to do in my lessons and also that is my role and responsibility. Her mail encouraged me that the way what I'm doing is OK.
あまりのうれしさに、夜中の１時だというのに、なぜかトイレ掃除しちゃいました。
猫のじゃなくて、人間用トイレ。
それからお風呂にはいって、おこちゃまビールで祝杯をあげております。
単純！
I'm too glad and excited, and I started cleaning even though it was 1 o'clock at night. Then I took a bath and now I'm drinking alcohol free beer for celebration.
I found I'm so simple-minded.

インジェラ Injera
インジェラを食べてきました。
We enjoyed Injera.
真ん中： ドロワット（鳥肉の辛い煮込み) Center back: Doro Wat (Chicken stew)
右側の黄色：シロワット（豆のおかず） Right: Shiro Tat (Bean stew)
中央手前：ティブス（羊の炒め物） Center front: Tibs (Mutton saute)
左：野菜のアリチャ（ターメリックの炒め物） Left: Alicha (Fried veg with turmeric)
※対角線に同じものが置いてあります
インジェラはエチオピア料理で、テフという穀物の粉と水を発酵させて焼く、大きな厚めのクレープです。
大皿の上に広げられたインジェラの上におかずをのせて、サーブされます。それを、右下のくるくる巻いて切ってあるインジェラをひと口分ずつちぎったものでつまんで、手で食べます。
Injera is Ethiopian cuisine. It's made by a kind of grain teff. Because of the fermented dough, injera has sour taste.
On a plate, they place a piece of injera, and on top, put some stew. Several persons eat together from one plate.
難を言えば、ドロワットは向こうで食べるほど辛くなかった。で、「アワゼ（チリペースト）ください」って言っちゃいました。
でも、なかなかエチオピアの味に近くて、いっぱい食べちゃいました。
日本で食べるのだから、多少のマイルド化は仕方ありませんね。
Doro wat was not hot enough like what we ate in Ethiopia. We asked to serve Ethiopian chili sauce. However, the taste was very like in Ethiopia and we ate a lot. The restaurant is in Japan. We understand they serve milder taste.
たくさん食べちゃったのは、なつかしい味だったこともあるけど、それ以上に、一緒に食べた仲間がよかったから。
エチオピアに住んでいたころのお友達、久々の再会だったのです。
私がエチオピアにいたのは14～15年前ですから、大人はすぐにわかりますが、子どもたちは高校生だったり、30代になっていたり･･･。
時は流れたのです。
でも、時がたったらますます熟成する、よいご縁とはこういうものなんだよと教えてくれた友人たちです。
Actually, we ate a lot because the companions were so good.
We are a group of friends when we were in Ethiopia and met first time after long time. We were in there 15 years ago. Kids become high school students.
Time has passed.And time ferments the good friendship.
They taught me so.
It was beautiful night.
