「words of wisdom」を「名言」と訳したので、「Let it be」を、名言に聞こえるように「なるがままに」にしました。

[Verse 1]

「times 」は複数形なので、「続く時」と訳しました。[Verse 1]はポールが、ビートルズの現状について、ずっと悩んで考えていたのが伝わります。

[Verse 2]

「4人が音楽を作る世界で生きていれば、解決策はある。ビートルズが別れる期間があったとしても、いつか会える時はやってくる」と言っているようです。

自分の気持ちとは違う方向に、みんなそれぞれ歩み出している現状に、苦しみ悩み、でもどうすることもできなくて、彼らと会える機会はまだあるだろう、今は「なるがままに」にと歌うポール。ため息です。

「sound of music」という歌詞が、"Mother Nature's Son" にも出てきます。

"Mother Nature's Son" [Verse 2]

　　　　彼女(小川)の水たちが湧き出るのを見ている

　　　　彼女(小川)が舞っているような心地よい音楽の音に

"Lt It Be" の「I wake up to the sound of music」は、

"Mother Nature's Son" の山から流れる小川の舞っているような心地よい音楽のことを

指しているのでしょうか。

1969年1月31日 

映画「Get Back」では、1969年1月31日は、エンドロールの形であったいう間に終わってしまいます。

でも実際は、彼らが今までに歌ってきた色々なアーティストの曲をジャムしたり(2023年2月にビートルズ大学の講義で聴かせていただきました)、17枚目のシングル"Lady Madonna" をジャムしたり、レコーディングも何テイクも録っています。

前日30日のアップル社の屋上では歌えなかったピアノやアコースティックギターの演奏がある曲、 "Lt It Be"  "The Long And Winding Road"　"仮題 We’re on our way home (Two of Us)" です。

リンゴが出演する映画「The Magic Christian」の撮影が4月1日から始まるので、

1月2日から集まり始まった通い合宿は、1月31日が最終日です。

ポールは、「いつまでも4人で演奏していたい、この演奏をやめたくない」という想いがあったのではないかと思います
