Sivan : Sorry, yeah. No, I just don't like them. They give me the creeps a little bit. What else? I don't know. To be honest, I'm not really like, because even the blue tech on the wall thing. I'm like, Okay, but is it like chic like dorm room vibe on purpose. That's like, cool, you know what I mean? And like, self-aware. Maybe, that's like your vibe that you're going for. So I think, it's like, you know, you can't really go wrong, as long as you're doing stuff that you like that's been my biggest thing with. Like, you know, when I was designing the house in Melbourne, and stuff is, as long as I liked it, I would put it in. I didn't want to go too heavily towards like, Oh no, That's not like mid-century enough, or it's not like Italian enough, or whatever. It's just, if I liked it, went, and then, I think, you end up with something, that feels like, you know.

Tyrone : While he, in the studio Troye Sivan. And one more question before we let you go. Obviously, we've been talking about it. This whole interview, this new album is coming. And the last Australian shows you did, were back in 2019 off the back of this new record. Could we maybe see you returning to some of our stages?

Sivan : For sure. For sure, yeah. I don't know. The official touring plans like plan yet. But I reckon, I'm gonna be on Twitter for like most of next year. So, I can't wait.

Sivan : Well, yeah. So when we were making the album, because I toured 'Bloom' in my last album for a year and a half. And I think, that was such a good like education for me in live music and the way that songs translate. And so then going into this album, it was like kind of a different mindset like my best friend and co-writer Leland. We love the Hollywood Bowl. We're obsessed with the venue. I've seen like, shows there that have totally changed my life. Then, every time the producer that we'd be working with would like play a chord that felt right or like a drum pattern that felt right. We would look at each other, and be like Hollywood Bowl. And obviously, this is like, just this, you know crazy far-fetched dream. But, we made the album essentially as like a live show. That's really what we were kind of thinking about. You know, we were like, Oh, we need a moment where there's like confetti. What are we gonna do like and start you know a song from that place of building the tour? Yeah.

Troye Sivan has announced details of a huge UK and European tour for 2024.
The tour is in support of Sivan’s acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’, which was released back in October. The record ? Sivan’s first in five years ? scored the Australian a glowing five-star review from Nick Levine for NME. Levine wrote: “It’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”
Hailed by The Guardian as "one of this year's best and most distinctive pop albums" and celebrated by Rolling Stone as "a pristine slice of pop heaven," the Something to Give Each Other Tour is destined to be Sivan 's biggest, boldest and brightest tour.
Sivan’s 17-date run will begin in Portugal on May 29, 2024, before continuing throughout Europe. Sivan arrives in the UK on June 22 at the Manchester AO Arena; the tour will conclude in Birmingham.Tickets for the shows go on sale on December 8 at 9am.
