At the beginning, Chinowa was installed in front of the front shrine of Omiwa Shrine in Kokufu-cho, Tokushima City. We hope that you will not be sick by diving three times in a large ring made of Kaya grass.

前に設置されていました。

ングの中を3回潜る
ことで、無病息災
を願います。
Chinowa Kuguri is a religion that, together with the Gozu Tenno religion, has already permeated the general public during the Heian period and prays for a disease-free life.
茅の輪くぐりは、牛頭天王信仰
と一体となって、平安時代に
は既に一般市民にまで浸
透していた、無病息災
を祈る信仰です。
From the ruins of the Heian period, a wooden tag with the words "Somin Shorai's future descendants" of the Gozu Tenno worship has been excavated.
