Prompt Report on Autumn Leaves,Kyoto-05 Nov 2011
Today, I visited Takao, the northwest mountainous area in Kyoto.
Jingo-ji temple 神護寺 * -> **
Suzuri-ishi-tei 硯石亭 **
Saimyo-ji temple 西明寺 *
Kiyotaki river 清滝川 *
*** Best time to see
** A little bit early
* A bit too early
x Too early
-> inbetween
From a general point of view,
it's a bit too early to enjoy the autumn colors.
My impresson is that maple leaves in Kyoto change color
at least 1 week latter than usual in this year.
It is at the same pace as last year.
Please refer the tables shown in the Picture Guides
