やや旧聞に属しますが、王鵬 (おうほう) 関 (大嶽 [おおたけ] 部屋; 西十両14枚目) がこの五月場所の勝ち越しを決めました。嬉しく思っています。王鵬関は、昭和の大横綱である大鵬 (たいほう) 関の孫として知られています。
Although it is old news, Oho (王鵬関) (Otake Stable [大嶽部屋]; west juryo 14 [西十両14枚目]) won kachikoshi (勝ち越し: more wins than losses in a basho) in this May basho (五月場所). I am very happy for him. Oho is known as a grandson of Taiho (大鵬関), one of the best known and highest-achieving yokozuna of the Showa era (昭和の大横綱; yokozuna [横綱] is the highest rank for rikishi).
残念ながら王鵬関は本日 (令和3年 [2021年] 5月22日 [土曜日] の取組には敗れた上、膝を痛めたかもしれません。大事に至らないことを願うばかりです。
Unfortunately, Oho lost his bout today (Saturday, May 22, Reiwa 3 [2021]), and may have injured one of his knees. One can only hope that he was not seriously injured.
