検疫ホテル予約
6/27から台湾に海外から入国する人全て、防疫ホテルやセンターなど、認定を受けている場所での2週間の検疫が義務化されました。
当然検疫ホテルは瞬時に争奪戦となりました。
From June 27, everyone entering Taiwan from abroad is required to quarantine for 2 weeks at quarantine hotels or quarantine centers.

それで27日の帰国者から全て、集中検疫所或いは検疫旅宿に2週間です。
台湾は手を打つとなると、速い‼️
これくらいのスピード感が無いと、抑え込みが出来ないということなのでしょう。

This announcement was made on the afternoon of June 25. And this was effective for all travelers entering Taiwan from the 27th.

ですが、今回の一時帰国は親子2人で日本へ、そのあと諸事情により息子を一人で先に台湾に戻らせる予定でいました。
親はその1週間後。
My husband and my son were supposed to go back to Japan and then have my son come back to Taiwan a week before my husband does.
確認したところ、たとえ12歳であっても一人で台湾に入国すれば、一人で2週間の検疫が必要なのは変えられません。
However, after some research, I found out that even a 12-year-old must quarantine alone for 2 weeks after entering Taiwan alone.
それは余りにリスキーなので、息子のフライトを変更して親子2人で戻るように手配し直しました。
一緒の入国であれば、18歳未満は親と共に同じ部屋で過ごせます。
There was too much risk, so I decided to change my son's flight so he and my husband can return to Taiwan together.
If they are together, any children younger than 18 can quarantine inside the same room as the parent.
幸いフライトの変更もでき、問題はホテルです。公布されたその夜のうちに、自宅近くでまず1件のホテルを押さえておきました。
そうでもしないと眠れませんよ…( ˘ω˘ )

気を取り直して、朝から部屋探しです。
However, the next morning, we realized that the hotel we booked last night wasn't a quarantine hotel. While I was searching, the keyword "quarantine" somehow wasn't included. Oh, no!
I pulled myself together and began looking for a hotel once again.
日本語で心強かったこちらのサイトJHCは、残念ながらこちらの焦る気持ちとは全く違う対応のスピード。空きがあるかの問い合わせは、お見積もりの申し込みとなっていて、サイト上で選択したホテル名を再び手打ちしてメールを作成。お返事いただけたのは3日後。もちろん第3希望まで全て空部屋無しとのご回答でした。
Although the JHC website is in Japanese and was reliable, the operation speed was slow. I needed to type the hotel names and send an email to see if the hotel still has spots left open or not. The reply came 3 days later. No surprise, though, all my top 3 choices were filled.
私たちが探した時点では、なかなか空部屋状況と部屋の条件が一覧表になっているものもなく、そういった検索もかけられず、いわば人海戦術。満室でもホテルに電話し、2人が住まうのに少しでもストレスにならないよう2部屋ある広さの部屋は無いかと尋ねて、良さそうな満室のところにはキャンセル待ちが出来ないか交渉し、、、パソコン、タブレット、携帯をフル稼働しながら数日。ようやくＹホテルにツインベッドで10坪の部屋を確保。ここにはメールし、さらに電話で確認の上で確保になりました。メールの返信の遅さや、電話の混み具合からみても、ホテルの側も相当な慌ただしさだったことと思います。
At the time when we were searching, we couldn't find a table showing the room details and the conditions, which made it very hard. Even if the hotel is full, I asked if there are any double rooms to make my husband and my son as comfortable as possible during their 2-week quarantine, asked if I could get on the waiting list. After fully utilizing my computer, tablet, and phone and doing this for several days, I finally booked a size-10 room with two beds. After sending an email to the hotel and double-checking the reservation by phone call, I was sure that the hotel was booked successfully. The slow speed of e-mail replies drove me nuts ...
ただそこもキングベッドのワンルーム、希望の2部屋続きの10坪以上とはいかなかったので、まだ諦めずに探し続けます。
However, this room was a single room with one king-sized bed, although I wanted a double room larger than size-10. So I did not give up and kept searching for better options.
こちらとはLINEでいつでもやり取りが出来、最初からここに繋がっていればもっと早く取れたかもと思いました。

防疫旅館小幫手
7/1に繋がって、それから満室だよと断られたり同じことを聞かれたりしながらも、希望の地域を広めたりしてようやくツインベッド10坪の部屋を提案してもらえました！
I started the chat on July 1st, and after getting the same reply that the rooms are full, I was finally offered a size-10 room with two beds!
良いねその部屋！と返信してすぐ、そのホテルを調べます。
うん、ここなら家からの距離も遠すぎることはない。と、LINEチャットから目を離している時に、なんと同じホテルのスーペリアスイートの2部屋続きの部屋も空いているけどどう？とのオファーが。
ただしその後すぐ埋まってしまい、ごめんね無くなったよ。とういメッセージ！
その間僅か10分ほど‼️
After replying "sounds good!" in the chat, I quickly searched the hotel up. While I was finding out that the location is not too far away from my house, the chat operator told me that the double room superior suite at the same hotel. Unluckily, after only 10 minutes, the superior suite room was full‼️
速攻で返信していれば取れたのに〜。このスピード感。諦めずそのスイートに希望を出すも空き無し。
I wish I replied faster! I realized that speed is very important in this case. Although I tried to see if there are any empty superior suites available, I had no luck.
仕方ない、そのホテルのツインベッド10坪の方を押さえておこうとその後の話を続けていたところ、「スイートの部屋無くなった」から1時間も経たないうちに、「スイートあるけどどう？」と。じゃあじゃあそっちで‼️
もうバーゲン会場のようです。
みんな手当たり次第掴んでは、すぐリリースするという…
No longer than 60 minutes later, while I was continuing the reservation process to book the twin bed size-10 room, the chat operator told me that the superior suite is available now.
It's like a bargain sale. Everyone just makes as many reservations as possible, then releases many of them quickly...
結果こちらJホテルのスイート、ウォッシュレットトイレであることも確認。
In the end, we reserved a superior suite room at J Hotel. I checked that the toilet has a cleaning shower.
必要情報をLINEで返信します。

後はホテルからの連絡待ち。3日経っても何も無かったらお知らせくださいね、とのこと。もちろんこんな事態なので３日も待たずにホテルのLINEに繋げて、予約確認です。
部屋の条件なども確約されたので、クレジットカード情報なども伝えてようやく予約完了です。
これで台湾に帰ってこれます〜！
Now it is just waiting for the hotel's reply. They asked us to make contact if we get nothing after 3 days. However, because I am in a desperate situation, I confirmed the reservation through a LINE chat without waiting for 3 days. I checked the room's condition, so I told the credit card information and finally completed the reservation process.
Now, we can come back to Taiwan!!!
